Rural Fun in the Mountains and Rivers | Visit Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area in Chongzuo

⛰️Attraction Introduction The name of Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area can be directly understood as the pastoral scenery of Mingshi Village. The scenery and activities are very similar to the Ten-Mile Gallery in Yangshuo, Guilin. You can rent a two-wheeled or three-wheeled electric bike and ride along the pastoral path, then take a boat along the Mingshi River to enjoy the scenery on both sides. Objectively speaking, the scenery is not very magnificent or beautiful, but it is a must-see place on the way to Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area. 📖Attraction Activities Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area is a formal scenic area with an entrance fee. Visitors who do not ride can also regard it as a destination. (Since we can't ride electric bikes, this is a huge problem for us, and it does cause us a lot of trouble when we go to every scenic area that requires riding.) Drive to "Mingshi Tourism Resort Visitor Center" for navigation. The parking lot is very large. With a bamboo raft ticket, you can register at the visitor center for free parking for 4 hours. Then take the scenic sightseeing electric car to the bamboo raft boarding dock → take the bamboo raft to enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Mingshi River → walk around after arriving at the disembarkation dock → after coming out, cross the road to the parking lot opposite to pick up your car. ⭐️Scenic Area Highlights: There is a tour guide on the boat who explains and offers some peanut snacks. There are also folk scenes along the river, and you can trigger NPC performances. The most impressive ones are the mountain that looks like the back of a Buddha and the ant nest on the tree. There is a dish here called ant egg fried egg. After landing, the place with the most people is the round holes on the Nine-Curved Bridge, where you can take pictures of different views from different angles. There is also a stamp photo spot with a score of 80. Unfortunately, after mid-to-late October, the pastoral scenery has actually been cut bald, and the scenery is much inferior. 🏠Accommodation Recommendations Mingshi Nali Hotel, Daxin Mingshi Villa, Mingshi Bieyuan... There is no shortage of good homestay hotels here, but the overall price is much higher than the average price near the scenic spots in Chongzuo. If you have a budget limit, you have to lower your expectations for accommodation conditions here. If you have requirements for accommodation conditions, you must increase your budget.
