My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Guangzhou I had the opportunity to stay at the fourth Hilton Garden Inn in China while studying in Guangzhou. It was formerly the Yuexiu Hotel, and perhaps because of its long history, the rooms are a bit compact. After all, it is a new hotel, and the swimming pool is not yet open. The Hilton's often-mentioned affordable drinking water is also available here, which is one of its features. As for the service, it is indeed slightly inferior to the Hilton Benton. The concierge staff is sometimes hard to find, and many services are not proactive enough. Parking is in an outdoor parking lot, which is inconvenient on rainy days, but the hotel's umbrellas are quite distinctive, with solid wood handles and double-layered canopies. Although they are heavy, they are exquisite. Walking in the rain in Guangzhou with an umbrella is quite interesting. Of course, this hotel also has many advantages. It is very convenient for transportation, the facilities are brand new, and the rooms are equipped with Dyson hair dryers, washing machines, induction cookers, and range hoods. Although these facilities may not be used frequently, they reflect the hotel's thoughtfulness. It is worth mentioning that the lobby displays Huai Su's calligraphy, which makes calligraphy enthusiasts like me very happy. Overall, the hotel has the advantage of being newly opened, with modern and stylish facilities that effectively solve many daily problems, and its location is also very good. However, because it is new, its operation and management seem to be not yet fully on track, and its service level is slightly inferior to traditional Hilton hotels, but it is still at a passing level. For tourists and business travelers, it is a good choice. In Guangzhou, the food is naturally worth mentioning. It happened to rain, and the Canton Tower was hidden in the clouds after the lights went out at night, which was very visually impactful and shocked me as an outsider. I also visited Shamian Island and the Sacred Heart Cathedral. There were few tourists at night, and the photos were great.
