This time, I stayed at Xianghu Free Manor. The hotel is in a unique location, in the valley of Laohudong Mountain by the lake. The hotel is built on the mountain, with a staggered layout. The 4-story high atrium and staggered suspended corridors are bathed in natural light, which is very bold and luxurious. The warm color scheme is very relaxing. In addition to a good night's sleep, you can also heal your body and mind in an artistic atmosphere. This feeling extends to the rooms. I stayed in a family room with two 180 cm beds in a semi-enclosed layout. Even young children can sleep soundly. Xianghu Lake is very low-key, with natural scenery that rivals West Lake, the ruins of the Yuewang City, unique bridge culture, and many recreational activities. Cycling, sailing, camping, and boating are all open to the public, and the facilities are well-equipped. However, there is little publicity, so it is mostly locals who come to enjoy it. Lunch was arranged at Xiaoyao Manor, the sister hotel of Free Manor. The Shuiyang Chinese Restaurant is a Michelin restaurant where you can taste authentic Xiaoshan cuisine, as well as Zhejiang and Cantonese cuisine. For afternoon tea, this season is perfect for making tea around a stove. Warm yourself by the charcoal fire, bask in the sun, and sip tea for a leisurely afternoon. Children can play in the Free Workshop or the swimming pool. The Western restaurant is also worth a try for those who like the Western dining atmosphere. The exquisite dishes are worth savoring.
