The outdoor seating offers a view of Central's commercial buildings and the Ferris wheel 🎡, which is quite nice. So, I decided to invite my colleagues to have lunch here. They offer set lunches during lunchtime, which are reasonably priced at around a hundred dollars for three courses and a drink. My colleague and I each ordered a set lunch and also a salad. The salad included several slices of smoked salmon, fresh salad 🥗 greens, cherry tomatoes, pickles, and an egg 🥚. The salad was dressed with a tangy balsamic vinegar, which was very appetizing. For the appetizer in the set meal, we both chose the mushroom 🍄🟫 soup. The soup was made by blending a large amount of mushrooms into a puree and then cooking it into a rich and flavorful soup. The salmon quiche had a flaky crust filled with soft and tender filling. The base was thin and firm, not too greasy. The top was baked to a caramel color without being burnt. The tuna cheese 🧀 panini was indulgent. The semi-melted cheese was overflowing. The tuna was mixed with salad dressing, so it wasn't too dry. The panini was toasted to a slight crisp. The two desserts were not too sweet. The cheesecake was dense and creamy. The apple crumble was packed with cinnamon-flavored apples 🍎. If needed, the waiter could help warm it up. The latte and cappuccino were of standard quality. During this meal, I noticed that the restaurant employs many special individuals from different nationalities. It turns out that the cafe is a collaboration between the Hong Kong Maritime Museum and the Spastics Association, providing job opportunities for people with learning disabilities, helping them integrate into society and interact with people from different walks of life.
