The sunset on Itoshima is stunning ~ Sakurai Futamiura white torii⛩️

Originally "Noko Island" was not in our itinerary, but I really wanted to see the rapeseed fields, so we arranged the itinerary for Noko Island and Itoshima on the same day. In addition, during our stay in Fukuoka, this was the only day with sunny weather. We took a bus from Kyudai Kento Station to Itoshima, which took about 40 minutes. It was almost dusk when we arrived, but luckily the sun hadn't set yet. The bus can directly reach many Itoshima attractions, so we chose to get off at Sakurai Futamiura, which saved a lot of time. If you have enough time, you can walk or bike along the coastline and visit many of Itoshima’s attractions. It was low tide when we arrived at Sakurai Futamiura that day, so the torii gate and the couple's rock were not in the middle of the sea. Some people walked under the "couto's rock" to take pictures. Sakurai Futamiura is a famous attraction in Mie Prefecture, Japan. The white torii gate is located on the seaside, facing the famous Couple Rock. "Couple Rock" is two huge rocks standing in the sea, connected by a rope that symbolizes marriage and connection, symbolizing the harmony and happiness of husband and wife. The last bus back was at 6:26, and the station was right opposite the teahouse, so I sat at Itoshima Teahouse for a while. The outdoor landscape of the tea room is very beautiful. The golden sun shines on the wooden frame of the tea room, sparkling and the atmosphere is very charming. When the sun went down, I didn’t have enough time to walk under the torii gate to take pictures, so I could only take pictures of the beautiful sunset from the side. At sunset, I looked at the torii gate, Couple Rock and the sun from a distance. It was so beautiful and dreamy, and I felt an indescribable feeling.
