Jeju Island in the off-season is a paradise on earth...

After two trips to Jeju Island, I have a deeper understanding and love for this land. Here are some of my real feelings about Jeju Island and why I want to go back again. 1. The vastness of Jeju Island is beyond imagination At first glance at the photos of Jeju Island, you might mistakenly think it is just a small place made up of seaside cottages, and it seems like you can visit it in a day. However, in reality, Jeju Island is the size of three Seouls or one Xiamen. If you want to savor every beautiful view, a four-day trip is essential. 2. The essence of itinerary planning My itinerary was mainly focused on tasting food, with little sightseeing or shopping, and even so, I still felt pressed for time. Here is my four-day itinerary: • Day 1: Explore the east line, including Udo Island, Seongsan Ilchulbong, and Seopjikoji; • Day 2: The beautiful scenery of Aewol-eup on the west line and Woljeong-ri on the east line alternates; • Day 3: Go deep into Seogwipo, with the unique style of orange orchards, camellias, Beophwan-dong seaside, and Olle Market; • Day 4: Leisure time by the sea in the old and new districts of Jeju Island. Due to the tight schedule, it is recommended to choose accommodation in the city center to reduce travel time. The scenery on the east line is richer, so it is recommended to arrange two days. The best places for photography include Udo Island, Aewol-eup, Woljeong-ri, and Beophwan-dong in Seogwipo, all of which have roads leading to the sea and charming sea view windows. 3. The secret to efficient sightseeing To avoid detours, I tried to visit nearby attractions together and not miss any of them. Reading more guides is really beneficial. For example, in Aewol-eup, in addition to well-known places such as Bomnal and Teamblow, you can also arrange to visit shops such as Mumu, Slowboat, Lazypump, and Ultra Marine, which are not far away, and it is very convenient to charter a car on the same day. Similarly, Mou Moon Cafe, Bagel Miseum, and Puppy Cafe in Woljeong-ri are not far away and can be arranged together. 4. The uniqueness of the sea and cottages in Jeju Island Although Jeju Island is full of seaside roads and small houses, each place has its own unique charm. For example, the sea in Woljeong-ri and Aewol-eup presents a jelly-like color, while Seogwipo is a deep blue. Udo Island, as an outer island, is not convenient for staying to watch the sunset, but Aewol-eup and Beophwan-dong in Seogwipo are excellent places to watch the sunset. During my trip to Jeju Island, I left many beautiful memories, such as Ruddy's in Beophwan-dong, Seogwipo, the leisurely time in Aewol-eup, the mysterious charm of Udo Island, the magnificent scenery of Seongsan Ilchulbong, and those scattered cafes and food shops in Aewol-eup, Woljeong-ri, and Seogwipo. Each visit made me love this land more and look forward to the next reunion. Jeju Island, I will definitely come back again.
