| Enjoying the scenery from a hillside guesthouse. When visiting Xishuangbanna, besides staying in the bustling night market area, you can also choose to stay in Jinghong, across the Mekong River. This area is less crowded with fewer vehicles, and there are many hillside guesthouses near the Ethnic Park, all featuring Dai characteristics and offering a quiet retreat. The central area of Xishuangbanna is not large, and it's only a ten to twenty-minute taxi ride from Jinghong to the night market area, which is very convenient. 🌈Theme Features: The guesthouse is located on the hillside of the tropical rainforest near the Manhena Guna Cultural Park, just like its name suggests, hidden in the city, secluded next to the mountain. The guesthouse is newly opened, with Dai-style architecture and decor, surrounded by local residents living in Dai houses, and the design perfectly integrates local culture. The guesthouse has a lobby bar, book bar, coffee shop, restaurant, viewing terrace, viewing walkway, and tropical garden. You can enjoy the panoramic view and the gentle touch of the rainforest and Dai hometown from within the guesthouse. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: I stayed in a twin room, which was rectangular and not well laid out, with a rather narrow corridor. The balcony faces a wall of the neighboring villagers' house, affecting the lighting and ventilation, making the room feel dark and stuffy. There was no mention of this situation when booking, and this is my biggest dissatisfaction with this guesthouse. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing is average; you can hear noises from the corridor. The cleanliness is quite good. 🎯Entertainment Facilities: You can read, drink tea, and daydream in the restaurant at the highest point, admiring the mountain and rainforest scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows, with a panoramic view of the city, feeling the tranquility of being surrounded by the tropical rainforest. 💰️Average Spending: 400 yuan 💗Other tips: The location of the guesthouse is not easy to find, so it's important to communicate with the housekeeper in advance for proper positioning.
