Wutong Avenue, Nanjing Zhongshan Scenic Area

I'm in Nanjing! I made a special trip to Wutong Avenue. Wutong Avenue in Nanjing Zhongshan Scenic Area, especially Lingyuan Road, is a road full of history and romance. Lingyuan Road is located on the southern slope of Nanjing's Purple Mountain and is part of the Zhongshan Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It leads directly to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The road was built in 1929 and has a history of 91 years. French plane trees are planted on both sides of the road, and these trees have a long history just like the road. The plane trees on Lingyuan Road are tall and straight, and it takes almost two people to hug them. This road is not only the first scenic line to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, but is also widely praised by international friends and is regarded as part of a world-class green city. Wutong Avenue in December is simply beautiful. The nearly white tree trunks branch out into several branches, and the half-red and half-green leaves are dotted on the plane trees. Forgive me for not being able to capture the shock with my phone. There is more than one Wutong Avenue in Zhongshan Scenic Area. In addition to Lingyuan Road, there is also Wutong Avenue in the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and Wutong Avenue in Linggu Temple. In December, it's really beautiful, but it's also really cold.
