#cherryblossom2024 The War Memorial of Korea in Seoul, South Korea, was a profound and somber experience on my spring vacation. 🕊️ Located near the vibrant district of Yongsan-gu, the entrance fee was affordable, around 3,000 KRW per person. As I wandered through the expansive museum and outdoor exhibits, I was deeply moved by the tributes to the sacrifices of Korean soldiers and civilians throughout history. The museum's comprehensive displays chronicled the Korean War and other significant conflicts, offering valuable insights into the nation's tumultuous past. After paying my respects at the memorial, I took a contemplative walk through the nearby Namsan Park, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere and scenic views of Seoul. Nearby attractions also include the iconic N Seoul Tower and the bustling Namdaemun Market, where I sampled delicious street food and picked up unique souvenirs.
