Enjoy the rhododendron forest in Langley

I love rhododendron plants. Especially when they’re so bug that they become like trees. I think their blossom is so beautiful. Unfortunately it lasts only a short time (about a week) so you need to time your visit carefully. Langley Park in Buckinghamshire is located only 20 miles west of London and is easily accessible from A40/M40 (Denham Roundabout towards Slough). Even though walking to the park is also possible from the Langley Station (Queen Elizabeth Line) but I don’t really recommend walking there. The walk is a little boring and somewhat complicated. But you could take a taxi from the station. Inside the park there are amazing old trees, unforgettable rhododendron trees and also nice little paths suitable for jogging and walking. There’s also a public toilet and a small cafeteria. From one place you can see the Windsor Castle which is located right in front of you although the distance is some 6 km and it’s not another long walk path towards the castle. But it looks like you could. If you’re for example staying at London Heathrow Airport because of work or transfer flights, you can easily go jogging to Langley Park in Buckinghamshire. #london #slough #park #rhododendron #uk
