The Year of the Chinese Dragon at Taipei Ningxia Night Market

Check in at Taipei Ningxia Night Market for the Spring Festival holiday. Visiting Taiwan, the most grounded way to experience local life is to check out the night markets, an essential part of Taiwanese life. Here you can find the most authentic local delicacies, as well as the trendiest fashion. The Ningxia Night Market in Taipei still uses the familiar place name, named after the northwestern province 'Ningxia' because of its location in the northwest of Taipei. Located near Dadaocheng, the market is not large but boasts stalls that are over 50 years old, known for their famous delicacies or high cost-performance value, making each stall a classic! It is one of the few 'eco-friendly green night markets' in Taiwan, with public toilets, no smoking, registered ingredients, grease traps, and many stalls that do not use disposable tableware! The dragon in the first☝️photo is very fitting for the occasion. I wonder if the lanterns🏮on Dihua Street in the photos are similar to those in mainland Ningxia. Ningxia Night Market is also one of the few in Taipei where vendors are concentrated in the middle of the road, and you can explore the entire market by walking straight down the road. Walking in the pedestrian area, there are tempting delicacies on both sides.
