It is about 70 kilometers from Kunming city center, requiring 1.5 hours; it is about 12 kilometers from Yiliang, requiring 30 minutes. You can drive or charter a car to get there, turning from National Highway 324 and following the signs to Cherry Blossom Valley, which is about 3.6 kilometers uphill with several turns. The ticket price is 30 yuan per person. Elderly people over 70 and children under 1.2 meters need to go to the ticket window to get free admission. Parking fee is 10 yuan per car, with parking lots available both outside and inside the park. The first parking lot is at the main entrance, where you need to park and buy tickets before driving through the gate to the viewing park, about 1.2 kilometers away. The second parking area inside the park has two zones: one is straight ahead at the intersection, where you can see the viewing area as soon as you get out of the car; the other is to the right at the intersection, where the farther you go, the further away you are. You can enjoy the blooming cherry blossoms in Cherry Blossom Valley from December to April of the following year. With 61 varieties including winter cherry, mountain cherry, Yunnan early cherry, weeping cherry, and red-leaf cherry, you can always enjoy the romantic bloom here. The viewing platform opposite the Cherry Blossom Valley on the small hillside offers a stunning view of the entire mountain's cherry blossoms, which is extremely impressive. There is also a glass viewing platform on the hillside. The park is large, and you can bring your own tents, drinks, cooked food, picnic mats, etc. It is not uncommon to see elderly people playing mahjong and mixing cold rice noodles under the cherry trees. The park has dining areas and play facilities, with tables and benches in the dining area, but not many gourmet foods have settled in yet, offering cold drinks, grilled sausages, popsicles, rice noodle rolls, etc.; play facilities include inflatable castles, bouncy clouds, go-karts, and a 268-meter rainbow slide. For photography, you can take pictures as you walk, as the Cherry Blossom Valley is large and there are always places with fewer people for close-up shots; go to the small hillside to capture the panoramic view of the cherry blossom sea, filling the scene with romance.
