We managed to visit most places, but next time we won't plan such a tight schedule or will add an extra day to avoid rushing. If anyone has a better schedule, please share it with me. Thank you! 😍

Osaka|Two 24-hour Ramen Choices in Dotonbori.
The first one to introduce is the recently decapitated 'Kinryu Ramen' 🫢. The general reviews for Kinryu Ramen are not great, with complaints about a strange smell in the store. However, there's always a long line whenever I pass by, so curiosity led me to visit during breakfast time.
The menu at Kinryu Ramen only offers regular ramen and chashu ramen with extra meat. They provide unlimited white rice, chives, kimchi, and raw garlic. The regular ramen comes with three ordinary slices of chashu, decent tonkotsu broth, and okay noodles. The overall taste is not as bad as expected, and at 800 yen per bowl, it's a savior for the budget-conscious. But if there's a line, it's not worth it.

Next is 'Hanamaruken' near Hozenji in Dotonbori. I visited at 7:30 AM and surprisingly had to wait a bit. Before seating, you need to buy a meal ticket. The vending machine accepts various payment methods and offers multilingual support with pictures. I ordered the signature pork rib chashu ramen this time.
Hanamaruken offers a lot of toppings, including kimchi, freshly ground raw garlic, and my personal favorite, fried garlic slices. It's a paradise for those who love strong flavors. The size of the pork rib chashu is even more impressive than in the pictures. It's thick, tender, and almost melts in your mouth without chewing. The savory-sweet soy sauce flavor and grilled aroma make the chashu alone very satisfying. The tonkotsu broth has a moderate richness, and the added back fat enhances the aroma. If I can't sleep next time I'm in Osaka, I'll definitely come back for another bowl.
📍Hanamaruken Namba Hozenji Branch / Tabelog 3.5
〒542-0076 Osaka, Chuo Ward, Namba 1-2-1

The best way to feel Dotonbori is to experience a cruise 🧡
Take a cruise and feel the heat of Dotonbori!
The fact that there is a Dotonbori cruise that can be reserved with a gas pass?!
📍Wonder Cruise | Wonder Cruise
- When you think of Dotonbori Cruise, everyone thinks of a river cruise, but there is also a Wonder Cruise that can be reserved!
If you want to ride a river cruise, you have to make a reservation on-site from the morning to Dotonbori even though there is no schedule.. I was worried that it would be too much trouble, so I found Wonder Cruise that you can ‘reserve’🚢
- ⭐️You can use it for free with a gas pass⭐️, and you can also make a reservation by specifying a time, which is great! (It’s more spacious than the number of passengers⭐️)
- Caribbean ㅎ ㅐ The explanation is fun, so it seems like a unique cruise experience, and kids really like it 👦🏻
▪️Reservation site) Wonder Cruise homepage
- If you use a gas pass, check the gas pass usage
▪️Operating hours) 17:00~21:30 (Departs every hour, 30 minutes)
▪️Time required) About 20 minutes
▪️Photo time⭕️ Bringing in drinks ⭕️ Restroom ⭕️
- Photo time in front of the Dotonbori Glico sign If you have time, you don't have to take pictures among the crowds on the bridge! ㅎ ㅐ There is also photo time with the enemy, so kids like it ⭐️📷
▪️Usage tip
- You have to arrive early and wait in line before departure to sit in the seat you want (ticket exchange required)
✔️ If you wait in line 15-20 minutes before, you will have plenty of space, and if you sit in the front, it is good to take pictures in the best spot in front during photo time!

Japan | Osaka | The district that has been imitated but never surpassed | Dotonbori
In Japan's nightlife, apart from Tokyo's Kabukicho, Kansai's Dotonbori is bursting with popularity. Compared to the small cities in Japan where malls and restaurants close around 7 or 8 pm, Osaka offers a much richer nightlife. Whether it's enjoying the bustling crowds, the mesmerizing neon advertising signs, or tasting a variety of delicious foods, this place is a must-visit.
⛰【Travel Tips】
📍Detailed address:
👉This is located in Namba, just take the Midosuji Line to Namba Station, and it's within walking distance. There is also a Namba Station on the JR Line (if you have a JR Pass, you can take this), which is convenient and fast.
👉For tourists visiting Osaka, eating, drinking, shopping, and staying in Namba is basically the first choice, with nearby Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, and the famous Yasaka Shrine lion head all in this vicinity.
🕙Opening hours: There are few restaurants in Japan that are open 24 hours, they generally close around 11-12 at night.
🌟Must-visit spots:
👉Glico signboard: Take a photo with this twinkling neon sign to leave your Osaka memory; it's already a landmark.
👉Dotonbori Canal: This is the river right beside, with boat tours available, and many young people stroll along the riverbank at night, sitting leisurely on the ground by the river, where you can see people from all over the world.
👉Shinsaibashi: Osaka's most famous shopping district, with many malls of different tastes, and of course, the drugstores that Chinese tourists love.
👉Hozenji Yokocho: A very small temple, but it feels very ancient, with every brick and tile on the stone-paved road having its own history, very photogenic.
🍜 Food Recommendations:
Eating here is a key highlight:
👉Takoyaki is everywhere, each bite is the taste of Osaka, although there are many in China, here is the authentic version.
👉Okonomiyaki: The art of cooking on a griddle, each dish represents Osaka.
👉Kani Doraku: This restaurant's sign is very conspicuous, a must-visit for seafood lovers to taste exquisite crab dishes and experience the freshness of the ingredients.
👉Ubiquitous Yakiniku: You must try the local beef, it doesn't have to be Kobe beef, even ordinary beef is melt-in-your-mouth quality, and the price is only half of what you would pay in China.
📸 Photography Tips:
Night scenes are the way to open up Dotonbori, to capture the brilliant lights of Dotonbori, record the prosperity of this city, be sure to take more pictures of the various neon lights and advertising signs here. In addition to the Glico sign and the nearby bridge, the main street is lined with various cyberpunk-style signs. This scene has appeared in countless games and movies.
💡 Tips:
Avoid the peak, come later rather than earlier, other than for dining. Too early and there are too many tourists. To get a deeper understanding of Osaka's nightlife, take a look at the riverside, where there are many small bars, street performers sitting on the ground, and even homeless people. Observing the real life of the locals is also a travel experience.

Osaka Dotonbori Sukiyaki Local Restaurant⬇️⬇️
📌 Amemura Shain-shokudo
⏰ 18:00~23:00 (Weekday and weekend business hours are different. You should check the Google Map hours before going.)
📍 2 Chome-3-14 Nishishinsaibashi, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0086 Japan
While staying at the Osaka Teikoku Hotel in Osaka, I looked up nearby restaurants on Google Maps and decided to visit a sukiyaki restaurant that was a 3-minute walk away.
I wanted to eat hot food more than anything, and I heard there were two cute puppies in the restaurant, so I went there right away before the business hours ended.
There were two menus, one in Japanese and one in Korean, and we ordered a set menu for two, which included sukiyaki, tuna sashimi, and fried chicken wings.
There was a Korean employee in the restaurant, so ordering and paying wasn't difficult. There were two employees, the owner and the owner, and they were all very kind.
It took about 10~20 minutes for the food to come out, and the first menu to come out was fried chicken wings. The freshly fried chicken wings were seasoned appropriately with pepper and salt. So they were delicious even if you just ate them. You can finish them in 3 minutes.
Then, sukiyaki and tuna sashimi came out. The sukiyaki had a sweet soy sauce-based seasoning and a lot of onions, so it was on the sweet side, and I think most people would eat it without any problems. Personally, it was the most delicious sukiyaki I've ever had.
The tuna sashimi was chewy and melted in my mouth. It's a hearty meal where you can eat hot food, sashimi, and fried food all at once, so I highly recommend it.
After finishing your schedule, if you have a cold draft beer, it feels like all your fatigue has gone away🩵
A store I highly recommend to those looking for a good restaurant in Osaka Dotonbori!

Who says there's no nightlife in Japan when you can have fun in Osaka at night
When I traveled to Japan, one thing that shocked me was that the shops in Japan really close early, and the streets are basically deserted after nine o'clock (especially in ancient cities like Kyoto)🥲 Tokyo and Osaka, the big cities, are relatively better, but the nightlife is not as rich and colorful as I imagined💔 This note tells you where you can go to play in Osaka at night~
1⃣️Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori, this is one of the busiest night markets in Osaka, with food, shopping, and shops all available🍢 It can be said to be the largest and most complete shopping place! And there are many anime check-in places hehe😁 The super famous Glico Man sign is also in Dotonbori oh🙈
2⃣️Umeda Hep Five, there are Ferris wheels and many izakayas here, as well as some large shopping malls, which are also good places to experience Osaka nightlife🎡 If Dotonbori is more down-to-earth, then the Umeda business district will be relatively high-end, with all major luxury stores gathered~
3⃣️Universal Studios Osaka, the movie city is more atmospheric at night~ Especially the world of Harry Potter🌍
4️⃣Tsutenkaku, also one of the landmarks of Japan, you can see the colorful Osaka city at night. Coming to Tsutenkaku, it's like stepping into an anime, everything is as beautiful as a comic❤️
Of course~ In addition to the above famous landmarks and attractions, you can also choose a bar, invite three or five friends to chat and drink, and experience your own Osaka nightlife🍷

Dotonbori is a famous shopping street in Osaka, lining up with many restaurants and shops. Definitely, you are spoiled for choice here.
We tried the Ramen at the corner shop which has a long line of customers. You can order first from the vending machine and pass the ticket to the staff.
Save stomach for more food along the way. I highly recommend to come a bit earlier before 4pm as most of the crowd will start building up after 5pm.

Review of Takoyaki Do-Raku, Takoyaki at Dotonbori Market
#OsakaTravel
Coordinates: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6z48sNYyVCqDekcn6?g_st=ic
(There are 2 branches, Namba and Dotonbori. Namba has fewer people, you can walk to each other, not too far.)
Opening/Closing Time: Closed every Wednesday 11.30-21.00
When talking about Dotonbori Market, we must think of a lively food street, fried on both sides, long as far as the eye can see. And one of the most popular foods here is Takoyaki.
While this place may not be on the main road, I guarantee that it is just as delicious. The original Japanese taste is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with bite-sized squid filling, topped with sweet and salty takoyaki sauce. Eating it together is incredibly delicious. Most importantly, the queue is not as long as the restaurants on the main road. I highly recommend it.

Open every day, you can walk around both day and night.
If you talk about Osaka, no one would not know the Dotonbori area, which has a landmark, the giant blue Glico sign at the entrance. Anyone who visits must stop by to take a photo or two to check in.
In addition to stopping by to take photos, there are also many shops to shop and buy a variety of products. It is also full of restaurants and dessert shops. You can say that you can get everything you want here in one place.

That! It's right next to the Glico sign😆
If you're sightseeing and walking around that area and get hungry, come here for some delicious Korean food☝🏻
I tried the newly introduced "Nakkopsae" and "Budae Jjigae"♪
The sweet and spicy Nakkopsae has plump gopchang and plump shrimp!
And lots of plump octopus that can be cut on the spot🐙
Lots of vegetables too!
And tteok‼️This~
The sauce was so delicious😍
I think I've had the most delicious tteok I've ever had!
So, I didn't finish off the Nakkopsae with it!
I decided to eat budae jjigae 😋
My favorite budae jjigae 🔥
I've already ordered this "Kobako's budae jjigae" once, but it's even more delicious when you eat it at the restaurant 🥹
The amount and variety of ham is amazing 👏🏻
Budae jjigae filled with Kobako Mama's special ham
tastes just like the food you get in Korea 🇰🇷
There's a lot written on the picture, so please take a look ♪
Lots of Koreans came to eat on this day too! You can enjoy the authentic Korean taste

Let me tell you about the Osaka Amazing Pass!
#OsakaTravel
✔ Transportation in Japan is expensive,
so I can't even dream of taking a taxi..(I do)
I use buses and subways a lot,
but if you have a gas pass, you don't have to calculate the money every time,
and you can use it much more cheaply.
✔ With a gas pass, you can visit Dotonbori,
and see Tsutenkaku, Umeda, and Namba.
✔ Since it's electronic, you just need to insert the issued gas pass into the ticket gate and you're done.
✔ You can enter many tourist attractions such as Tsutenkaku Observatory, Tempozan Ferris Wheel, Umeda HEP Five,
Dotonbori River Cruise, Osaka Castle, etc. for free.
‼️The gas pass is not valid for 24 hours from the time it is first used,
but only until the last train, no matter when it is used.
🚫 Even with a 2-day pass, you can only visit tourist attractions once
🤑 Gas pass price
1-day pass 2,800 yen
2-day pass 3,600 yen

Osaka night lights at the Dotombori
If you’re in Osaka you need to head to Dotombori for the nightlife, it’s a hive of activity after dark. It’s famous for its illuminated store fronts with huge exaggerated features. It’s a great place to explore the streets and take great photos.
it runs along a river and there are river boat tours if you’re interested, but most of it is doable on foot.
There are lots of snack stalls, bars and wagyu restaurants but it can be very expensive on the street. There are also lots of waiters and hostesses trying to get you into the bars which can be quite annoying, so if you do want to eat and drink head to the quieter streets a few blocks away for a peaceful and better priced meal.
