Feast at East Hotel in TaiKoo Shing has one of the highest CP buffet in Hong Kong. After the pandemic things have changed a lot, including ways to order. Before the buffet was to choose a main course to enjoy with the salad, ham, seafood and dessert spread. But now a selection of hot dishes can be ordered on your own mobile phone and they come in smaller portions so you get to taste more variety. The freshly fried soft-shell crabs, seared scallops and roti are must-try. From the sushi table don’t miss the deliciously marinated sashimi. Oysters are now opened ahead but honestly they taste too bland. other than that I did enjoy the Thai style chicken feet. Save room for dessert - start with the gelato!! The chocolate gelato was decadent and the melon amazingly refreshing and delicately sweet. There are a wide range of dainty mini tarts and cakes so you get to have a taste of all without stuffing your stomach. #food #buffet

[Harbour View Room] I particularly liked the eco-friendly filter system for unlimited drinking water. We were a little disappointed that the room didn't have a bathtub though. [Dining] We had already booked our 3-course set lunch at Sugar beforehand. Food was above average while 32/F view was amazing! [Facilities] The pool was closed but we got to have the 24h gym to ourselves when we stayed here last year. Not super big but adequate equipment for a decent workout. Some of the decorative fabrics are from old items removed from the hotel rooms during the renovation, in line with the hotel's eco-friendly philosophy. The new lobby, with its open space concept, creates a shared office and social space. The renovated rooms are inspired by the original design but with a new open concept, carefully considering function and style to create a fun and professional workspace and recharge. I stayed in a sea view king room. The interior of the room is more flexible and the open space is unique. In detail, each room is equipped with a microwave, a small jar of candy is carefully prepared at the bedside, and the charging plugs and universal sockets are updated at the same time as the renovation. The island-style washbasin design adds practicality, and the transparent background panel allows you to enjoy the sea view while brushing your teeth. Feast on the second floor is a casual restaurant. Thanks to the full-height glass windows facing north in all public spaces of the building, the restaurant also enjoys soft natural light. Breakfast here is a delicate and delicious buffet, while lunch and dinner are semi-buffet (you can also choose from the a la carte menu). The hotel has a great gym and an outdoor pool, and the key is that it is directly accessible by subway, with direct access to the mall on the second floor, which is very convenient!

My experience at EAST Hong Kong was exceptional in every way. First, the warm and friendly reception from the staff made me feel comfortable from the very first moment. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the city. I dined at the hotel's restaurant, where the food was delicious and offered a variety. I also enjoyed relaxing at the swimming pool and the modern gym. Moreover, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was close to major tourist attractions and shops. Hong Kong's EAST Hotel is a must-stay! Booked a sea-view room and was very satisfied! It's much more beautiful than I imagined! The windows are really super big, which you can't feel from the photos, and the combination of sea and city views adds a special charm! The front desk staff were all very friendly, and they even helped to call a taxi and move luggage when leaving, which was very enthusiastic and thoughtful! East is one of my favourite hotel in Hong Kong. Located in the Hong Kong island, a few stations from the key touristy MTR stations which is just great if you want some tranquility yet around the buzz. Connected to the Tai Koo shopping mall where you don’t have to worry what weather it would be.
