I would like to call the Eyre Peninsula the South Australian version of 'Shangri-La'
🌊 The Eyre Peninsula is known for its ruggedly beautiful coastline and pleasant beaches. The scenery here is like a magnificent painting: blue skies and white clouds, clear waters and white sands, romantic pink lakes, the Sky Realm, and magical boulders, all of which are breathtaking. Trust me, in the hustle and bustle of life, there must be such a place where one can relax and resonate with nature!
✅ Must-visit attractions on the Eyre Peninsula:
📍Coffin Bay National Park
Coffin Bay National Park, which boasts the extended coastline of the Eyre Peninsula, is not only a pilgrimage site for water sports enthusiasts but also an ideal place for relaxation. Here, the rocks echo the azure waves, and when the sunlight sprinkles on the sea, the waves shimmer with golden light under the reflection, making the entire coastline glitter like a mermaid's dwelling~ Strolling on the beach, feeling the sea breeze. Whether it's the brilliant light and shadow at sunrise or the soft afterglow at sunset, it's all incredibly beautiful!
📍Lincoln National Park
Lincoln National Park covers an area of 216 square kilometers, encompassing steep cliffs, winding bays, dunes, pristine white sandy beaches, and various camping facilities, making it an excellent destination for travel and adventure!
Memory Bay, shining like a gem, is located here. With its soft sandy beaches and blue sea, worries seem to drift away with the waves. True to its name, it's unforgettable at first sight. However, Memory Bay is a protected area, and only 15 vehicles are allowed in per day, so be sure to apply for a permit at the visitor center in advance.
📍Lake MacDonnell
Finally, I get to write about my favorite spot! Lake MacDonnell is one of South Australia's most beautiful pink salt lakes. Driving on the embankment, one side of the lake is pink, the other side is emerald green, and further down the bridge is the blue lake water, forming a stunning tri-color lake. Here, it's as if you're in a world interwoven with fairy tales and dreams. Trust me, don't miss this place; you'll be able to take countless life photos!
📍Lake Gairdner
If there's any place that can rival Lake MacDonnell, it must be Lake Gairdner!
Lake Gairdner stretches unbounded into the distance, with a vast horizon as if there is no end. The red sand dunes echo the glittering lake surface, and just by standing or sitting here, one can feel infinitely relaxed. When it rains, the lake surface becomes like a giant mirror, clearly reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, hence the nickname 'South Australia's Sky Realm'.
There are so many beautiful sights that, in addition to the above attractions, there are ancient stone formations like Murphy’s Haystacks, the spectacular natural Talia Caves, and secluded Greenly Beach surrounded by cliffs... To truly experience everything in one go, a few days would definitely not be enough!
❤️ The more I talk about the Eyre Peninsula, the more I want to go again! If you also want to start exploring a new travel map, this is really a niche and treasure-filled place~

◾️Oyster Farm Tour
As a big fan of oysters, I couldn't miss the oyster lunch at Coffin Bay Farm! The sea water in Coffin Bay is naturally pure and unpolluted, and the natural conditions and microclimate are very suitable for the growth and reproduction of oysters. The Pacific oysters produced here are famous all over the world. Put on your waders and rubber clothes, stand in the sea, feel the salty sea breeze blowing through your hair, listen to the oyster farmers talk about oyster farming, and learn how to open oysters on site. Enjoy the fun of opening and tasting oysters in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The highlight is that you can eat freshly caught oysters while standing in the water. The freshness is beyond words! The oysters have a sweet sea flavor and a seaweed aroma, and the fresh and sweet taste of the freshly caught oysters is simply amazing.
