In another excerpt from my hotel 🏨 explorations, Hyatt regency in Suzhou was quite an experience. I. general with Hyatt hotels they have that amazing classic touch ✨. Starting from your room, the interiors will make you feel you're in ancient times and it was too soothing. The woods works 🪵 at the door and furnitures shows those exemplary skills. Besides that they also do have an amazing bar 🍻 with awesome view 😉 Do try their Pina colada 🥥🍹#urbanexplorer#tripblazers#summervacation

How come even hotels in Suzhou look like museums!
This time I came to Suzhou to take photos of autumn
I was not only amazed by the beauty of Suzhou
But also by the high-quality hotels in Suzhou
How come even hotels look like museums?

The photo rate is shockingly high

We wanted a more ceremonial dinner
So we went to The Fireplace on the 3rd floor
The Western food is very good
The presentation is beautiful and the taste is also good
Although the roast chicken is delicious
But I like the 🎃pumpkin soup
It looks like a polka dot artwork by Yayoi Kusama
Is it necessary to make the presentation so fancy?

The hotel is also in a great location

Hyatt Regency Suzhou | A Feast for the Eyes and Taste Buds
| A feast for the eyes and taste buds. Designed by renowned designer Lin Fengnian, the hotel features unique design, excellent facilities, and stunning views. Whether you look up or down, or enjoy the lake view from the lounge or guest room, you will be treated to a visual feast. The hotel also features a Black Pearl restaurant serving local delicacies and art exhibitions. The food at the lounge and breakfast is not very diverse, but the freshly steamed soup dumplings are amazing.

Hyatt Suzhou
Spend a perfect weekend at Hyatt Suzhou|||I have always read online that Hyatt Suzhou is cost-effective and has considerate service.
Finally got a chance to find a weekend to experience it
-
From the basement, you can see the symmetrical building with triangular structure
Each floor has a different visual experience
White walls + warm light really look good no matter how you shoot. No wonder so many photographers come here with their equipment.
-
Many star-rated hotels have excellent service, but they failed to satisfy me with my food.
The evening happy hour at the Suzhou Hyatt Executive Lounge was enough to surprise me.
This restaurant actually has pig's trotter soup, pumpkin soup, and 8 hot dishes, and the meals are replenished quickly.
The waitress is always there to collect the plates and hand over the wine glasses. The service is perfect.
In addition, we also provide red wine and 6 kinds of foreign wine, lime, ice cubes, and soft drinks. You can completely adjust the taste to suit your own needs.
When dining by the window, you can see the complete Oriental Gate and have a wide view.
-
The large bed room on the 28th floor has plenty of space and the bedding is so comfortable.
I stayed in so many hotels in November and this was the best sleep I’ve ever had.
The hotel swimming pool is not big, but the environment is very good. There is also a separate rest area and steam room.
-
You must try the Yuelu Western Restaurant on the third floor.
Just like the hotel, the overall tone is white, and taking photos in front of the red floor-to-ceiling curtain is very high-end.
The open kitchen fully demonstrates the professionalism of the restaurant
The steak is cooked just right, the meat is chewy and juicy
The tiramisu is the most professional I have ever tasted, it should be made by a star chef
-
If you choose a hotel again within five kilometers of the Jinji Lake Ring Road
I will probably choose Hyatt Suzhou again

Hyatt Regency Suzhou | Pet-friendly.
Hyatt Regency Suzhou is pet-friendly
Pet-friendly hotel in Suzhou. This time I stayed at Hyatt Regency Suzhou. I was very satisfied with the room layout. The pet-friendly amenities were great, including snacks, toys, blankets, and a custom frisbee to take home. The hotel room carpet, cups, and even the pet sign on the door were all pet-themed and very cute.
Unfortunately, pets can't join you for breakfast, which was disappointing. But compared to Kimpton Suzhou, the value for money is still good. I hope there will be a special area for dogs in the future.

Hyatt Regency Suzhou
Hyatt Regency Suzhou is located in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Xinghe Plaza, with the Times Square Station of Metro Line 1 right downstairs.
You can walk to the picturesque Jinji Lake, Suzhou Culture and Arts Center, Shin Kong Place, Jiuguang Department Store, Moonlight Pier, etc. It takes about 10 minutes to drive or take the subway to Suzhou Center.
The 29-story glass-roofed triangular atrium gives a stunning visual impact, and the simple and atmospheric lines make people want to take out their phones to take pictures from all angles. The glass roof allows natural light to shine down from above, and at night, the lights twinkle like the Milky Way, which is breathtaking.

Students will be moved to tears. If you come to Suzhou, you must stay at this hotel!
Hyatt Regency Suzhou
Ⓜ️ Location (4/5)
In short, the location of Hyatt Regency Suzhou is convenient for tourists.
Hyatt Regency Suzhou is located by Jinji Lake, with the Ferris Wheel Park right downstairs. It is a short drive to popular tourist attractions such as Tiger Hill, Suzhou Bay Bridge, Pingjiang Road, and Guanqian Street.
There is also a subway station near Hyatt Regency Suzhou, making it super convenient to get around. Whether you take a taxi or the subway, Hyatt Regency Suzhou is a great choice. 🚖
🌇 View (5/5)
Hyatt Regency Suzhou gets full marks for its view!
Its superior location means a great view. Whether you want to enjoy the sunset over Jinji Lake or the night view of Suzhou, Hyatt Regency Suzhou is definitely one of the best choices among all the five-star hotels in Suzhou.
🏠 Room (4.5/5)
As usual, I'll share how I booked the room: I booked a standard room and used a Guest of Honor certificate.
I was upgraded to a 90-square-meter deluxe suite. 😉😉 The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are amazing, and the suite is well-equipped. The only thing that could be improved is the TV, which is a bit outdated and doesn't support Apple screen mirroring.
Suzhou hotels are also quite unique among frequent travelers. I was looking forward to my stay before check-in, and it was a pleasant surprise to be able to stay in a suite.
🍝 Dining (3.8/5)
Breakfast is served on the second floor, and the food is of the usual five-star hotel standard. However, a friend of mine said that the desserts at Hyatt Regency Suzhou are quite good. I'm not a big fan of desserts, so I won't comment on them.
The executive lounge is on the 16th floor. There are quite a few options during happy hour, which can meet basic dining needs.
🏋️♂️ Facilities (5/5)
In terms of fitness facilities, Hyatt Regency Suzhou is better than many hotels in China. The gym is one of the largest among all Hyatt hotels in China, occupying an entire floor. It is equipped with a full set of Technogym equipment. If you like working out, you will find it worthwhile to exercise here for two hours.
Running while enjoying the night view of Jinji Lake is such a pleasant experience.
Conclusion
Before I conclude, I would like to thank my good friend Allen for giving me a Guest of Honor certificate, which allowed me to experience the treatment of a Globalist as a Discoverist.
Hyatt Regency Suzhou is a shining name card of the Hyatt brand in this beautiful land.

I'll stay at this hotel next time I visit Suzhou. It's good and not expensive!!!
Suzhou Hyatt Hotel
🚗The transportation is convenient and it's easy to charge the car.
🛏I was upgraded to a king suite on the 21st floor. It has a living room, a bedroom, and two bathrooms. There's plenty of space for kids to play💖.
🍽The hotel provides authentic Suzhou-style breakfast. I stayed for two nights and had a bowl of hot noodles every morning. It was really delicious!
🌼The Eslite bookstore nearby is worth a visit, especially if you have kids. There's also the Moon Harbor by Jinji Lake. It's not crowded and you can see the Suzhou Center. The only downside is the subway construction downstairs, but it doesn't affect much because the floor is high. The most distinctive feature of Suzhou Hyatt is the design of the hotel lobby. It's very photogenic.
The service is good. The doorman at the entrance actively opens and closes the car door and helps with the luggage🧳.
The view outside the room is not very good. It's a construction site. They gave me complimentary fruit and snacks.
The bedding is quite comfortable. You can also order takeout and have it delivered by a robot🤖.
The shower head has a small water flow and the temperature is not very stable.

This hotel in Suzhou is a great choice! I'll be back next time.
Hyatt Regency Suzhou
Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Located by Jinji Lake, the top floor lake view overlooks the Gate of the Orient. It's very close to Times Square subway station, and you can even go around to the subway station from B2. It's very close to Harmony Times Square and Eslite.
Room Environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Upgraded to a deluxe suite, which is actually just a corner unit. The room has many windows and is very bright, and the bathroom is well lit. The hardware is just the standard of Hyatt, with a smart toilet and automatic curtains. The room has a high ceiling and a great view.
Hotel Environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I saw many pictures of Hyatt online before I came. The 29-story glass-roofed triangular atrium is a must for internet celebrities. The overall interior design of the hotel is inspired by Suzhou's famous classical gardens and the inspiration of famous contemporary Chinese artists, combining abstract traditional artistic conception with bold modern Chinese elements.
Dining: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Huachi 88 on the second floor is a black pearl, which is much more affordable than similar restaurants in Shanghai. The fruitwood roast duck is a specialty. The taste is good. You need to book in advance for holidays. There are many types of breakfast, Chinese and Western styles are dazzling. It's much better than American breakfast. The executive lounge is on the 28th floor, the night view is beautiful, you can see the Gate of the Orient, the dim sum is very delicate, the dinner dishes are rich and delicious, and if you don't eat much, you can basically use it as a meal.
The rooms are large, the layout is very similar to the Grand Hyatt Shanghai, the basic room is 40 square meters, the hardware facilities are slightly old. Breakfast is served in the coffee shop on the second floor of the hotel, and the details of the service need to be improved.

Hyatt Regency Suzhou.
Hyatt Regency is generally positioned at the C3 level, competing with Marriott and Sheraton for the same business customer base. The Hyatt Regency hotels in Shanghai and Hangzhou Bay are similar, so they are not updated. However, due to differences in design companies and geographical locations, some Hyatt Regency hotels will rise to C4, such as this Hyatt Regency Suzhou, which can be slightly upgraded to Grand Hyatt.
The hotel was designed by Lin Fengnian of Singapore's LTW Company. The atrium is very distinctive. Those who specialize in architectural design should like the details inside. Acrophobics should be careful when looking down, especially when staying on high floors.
The hotel service is good. I added WeChat 3 hours in advance, and then the parking location navigation positioning room upgrade and welcome fruit plate were arranged. The next day, I didn't need to say it specifically, and I took the initiative to delay check-out, which is a big plus. The front desk service is average, and it is indeed only C3 level.
Located in a group of hotels in Jinji Lake, this hotel also has a very good cost performance. Suitable for staying at any time.
The room design is also good, I think I can give the same score to the room of Hilton Canopy.
In terms of catering, the hotel's Huachi 88 is a black pearl, and the set meal price is not expensive. I didn't have time to eat this time, I can try it next time. The breakfast is really good, the small wontons are delicious.

Please make sure to stay at this budget hotel when you come to Suzhou
Hyatt Regency Suzhou
Hyatt Regency Suzhou is located in the new district of Suzhou, on the east side of Jinji Lake. Due to the large size of Jinji Lake, you even need to cross an underground tunnel to reach here quickly.
Before coming, we were mentally prepared that the service process might not be great, as many netizens have criticized it harshly. But we thought we would give it a chance since it is a new hotel, and the hardware shouldn't be too bad. To be fair, the bathroom design here is really good. Whether it's the use of wall materials or the design, small details are well arranged, and the shower space is also very sufficient.
Our dining experience was all in the executive lounge, so there aren't many dishes to share. The breakfast selection is also not extensive, and the taste is just average. However, the lounge environment is very comfortable, and the view is really nice if there is no smog XD. You can see the Gate of the Orient in the west of the lake and a large lake view, which is very beautiful.
The facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool with a very friendly water temperature! The gym equipment is also very complete, which corresponds to the good hardware here. There is also a small exhibition next to it that you can visit. This space is occasionally used as an exhibition space, which is a great addition to the accommodation experience.
🪐🪐🪐
🌸Service: Apart from checking in, we didn't bother the staff much, so we didn't really feel the service quality. However, after staying in hotels for so long, we don't really need much service anymore.
🪐🪐🪐
🪟Environment: The front desk upgraded us directly to an executive suite. The room is very large and tidy, and all the necessary amenities are well-equipped.
🪐🪐🪐
🍽️Dining: The breakfast dishes are very rich and varied, which should be very popular with travelers.
NathanMacKay43
Budget travelers are moved to tears, you must stay at this place when you come to Suzhou!
🌿 Location: The hotel is located by Jinji Lake in Suzhou, with convenient transportation. The subway is right outside the lobby, making it very convenient whether you want to explore the charm of the ancient city or enjoy the bustling modern metropolis.
🛋️ Suite Experience: Spacious and bright, the suite is 90 square meters with a living room, bedroom, and two bathrooms. There are welcome fruits and drinks, and the overall experience is comparable to an InterContinental suite.
🍽️ Dining: You can enjoy the 28th-floor Executive Lounge happy hour and breakfast, overlooking the stunning night view, but the selection of dishes is too limited...
I really like the decoration style, elegant. The color scheme is also very nice, although it has been many years, it is still very pleasing to the eye.
This time, as a Globalist, I stayed on the top floor, the 29th floor. The view is great, and you can see Shangri-La from the room. You can hear the sound of rain when it rains on the top floor.
The Executive Lounge is on the 28th floor.
Walking in the guest room area is very quiet, and I particularly like the sense of depth in the architecture.
As for the guest rooms, compared to the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao in Shanghai, I prefer the Hyatt in Suzhou.
There is no construction site visible from the guest room, and the high floor makes the stay very enjoyable.
The swimming pool is average, the water is cloudy, and outside the pool is the exhibition center and a construction site.

Suzhou Hotel Accommodation Guide (Part 1) Hyatt
Staying at the Hyatt Hotel, it could be because of the noodles, it could be because of the yellow wine at the tavern, or it could be because of Lao Wang's table of dishes.
Location: Located on Huachi Street in the park, whether going to Eslite or Shin Kong, it's very close, and it's also adjacent to the subway station, making the location very good.
Dining: Morning at Yuxingji, evening at the tavern, Lao Wang's Black Pearl Restaurant Huachi 88, and Western cuisine at Yue Lu are all great choices.
Unique atrium high-ceiling design, the New Year's Eve and Christmas countdown parties in the first few years of opening, with balloons falling from the atrium, were very impressive!
Pet-friendly: Now you can also bring your pets to stay at the hotel with you!
Room Rates: Basic rooms start at 800+. This time, I stayed in a suite with a park view, which is said to be the same room as Carina Lau's. The space is super large and very comfortable, with all kinds of facilities!
Executive Lounge: Located on the top floor, overlooking Jinji Lake, with a full view of the Ferris wheel! If your room includes executive lounge service, it is really worth it!
Suitable for: Business, MICE, conferences, travel, pet travel, self-driving tours.
Stay tuned for continuous updates on the Suzhou hotel accommodation guide!
ELIZABETH PORTER
Letter to You Going to Suzhou in June | Latest Experience Sharing, Full Guide for Four Days and Three Nights
👍️Recommended Reason:
A city of Gusu, half a poem of the south of the Yangtze River. Every son and daughter of China surely harbors a dream of the south of the Yangtze. Imagining the light sway of silk fans, dreaming on the Milky Way.
If you want to experience the south of the Yangtze, probably a month wouldn't be enough. As for a working stiff like me, taking two days off plus the weekend, I also got to appreciate the charm of the transition from spring to summer in the south of the Yangtze.
📅Travel Strategy:
Day1: Suggest taking an early flight, check into the Gusu District. In the afternoon, visit the Canglang Pavilion (play for 1.5h), in the evening choose to tour Panmen at night (play for 1h), then head straight to Shantang Street (play for 1~2h).
Day2: In the morning, go to Tiger Hill first (play for 2h), during the hottest part of the day visit Suzhou Museum (play for 2h~3h), after 2 pm go to the Humble Administrator's Garden (play for 1.5h~2h), and before 5 pm enter the Lion Grove Garden (stay until closing), at night take a night tour of Pingjiang Road (play for about 2h). If you take a night tour of the Humble Administrator's Garden, you can swap times with the Lion Grove Garden.
Day3: Visit Hanshan Temple in the morning (half a day), in the afternoon switch hotels to Jinji Lake, watch the sunset and night view of Jinji Lake.
Day4: Depending on personal transportation status, if time permits, you can take a walk around the neighboring Yangcheng Lake, then return.
🍜Food Strategy:
Highly recommend Suzhou-style mung bean soup and crab roe noodles, the refreshing mint in the mung bean soup and the fragrant crab roe noodles are unforgettable.
Snacks are one aspect, but I really suggest trying the snow-fleece tofu, lion's head meatballs, boiled white cabbage, squirrel-shaped mandarin fish, drunken crab marinated in Huadiao wine, etc., at a big hotel for a dual enjoyment of sight and taste.
🏨Accommodation Strategy:
In the city, I strongly recommend the Pan Pacific Suzhou, which offers free admission to Panmen, and most importantly, after 9 pm, the illuminated Panmen is all yours.
Another top recommendation is the Wyndham Garden Suzhou, which is right outside Guanqian Street, with Pingjiang Road to the right.
Jinji Lake is where Suzhou's high-end hotels are clustered. Hyatt, Niccolo, Shangri-La, Hilton, W, Kempinski, Renaissance, and more... choose according to the price you are willing to pay.
💗Other tips:
1. Each garden in Suzhou is actually not large, but if you look closely, it's easy to get immersed and time flies quickly.
2. Each garden is basically at its most beautiful around 5 pm in terms of light and shadow, but you can only choose one each day.
3. Choose either a night tour of the Humble Administrator's Garden or the Master of the Nets Garden, if the weather is good and you can watch the sunset, the Humble Administrator's Garden is recommended, as the Master of the Nets Garden has more performances.
4. For watching the sunset at Jinji Lake, it is recommended to go to the Golden Water Bay Pier, which is much prettier.
5. Suzhou does not have an airport, you can only fly to Shanghai or Wuxi, if flying to Shanghai, there is a high-speed train directly to Suzhou. Choose a high-speed train station in Suzhou according to the area you want to visit (Suzhou North Station is close to Yangcheng Lake; Suzhou Industrial Park Station is close to Jinji Lake, Yangcheng Lake; Suzhou New District Station is close to Tai Lake and Tiger Hill; Suzhou Station is in the city area... there are also Yangcheng Lake Station, Kunshan Station, Taicang Station, etc., just understand that Suzhou's high-speed rail is extremely well-developed)
6. The night tour of the ancient canal is basically not recommended, as it is far inferior to the night tours of the Pearl River in Guangzhou, the Haihe River in Tianjin. In contrast, the night view of Jinji Lake is more beautiful.
The gardens that you didn't get a chance to visit this time, consider them a small regret, and save them for next time.

Budget travelers cried with excitement, you must stay at this hotel when you come to Suzhou!
Family Hotel Recommendation | Hyatt Hotel Suzhou||🌸Family trip to Suzhou, Hyatt Hotel
🌟During the May Day holiday, I took the kids on a self-driving tour of the charming Suzhou, and chose the well-established hotel located in the Industrial Park by Jinji Lake—Hyatt🏨.
🚗The transportation is quite convenient, and it's easy to charge the car.
🛏We were upgraded to a 21st-floor king suite, with one living room, one bedroom, and two bathrooms, providing a large space for the kids to play💖.
🍽The hotel offers authentic Suzhou-style breakfast, and having a bowl of steaming Ao Zao noodles every morning during our two-night stay was really delicious!
🌼The nearby Eslite bookstore is worth visiting with the kids. There's also the Moonlight Wharf by Jinji Lake, which has few people and beautiful scenery overlooking the Suzhou Center. The downside during this period is the subway construction downstairs, but fortunately, the high floor level was not much affected.
💕This May Day trip to Suzhou, Hyatt Suzhou gave us a nice accommodation experience.

Suzhou Three-Day Tour
Day one is Seven-Mile Shantang to Hanshan Temple. Day two is Humble Administrator's Garden to Pingjiang Road. Day three is Eslite Bookstore to Jinji Lake. It's a relaxed Buddhist-style itinerary, not very tight. Staying at the Hyatt Hotel next to Jinji Lake, there are lots of places to stroll and eat around, and children can have a lot of fun.
