Looking for a less crowded market to visit in Bangkok? I highly recommend checking out MBK Center shopping mall’s Good Taste Market! It is located along the exterior of the mall and is easily accessible by train. They sell a good variety of street food and drinks, as well as clothes, bags and souvenirs. A must-try dish is the seafood fried rice! But some of the items can be a bit too oily. If you don’t have enough time then just come over to this BTS station and you can take in all the views from all around MBK/Siam/Museum from the overhead bridge. There are also buskers in this area and sometimes temporary markets too. This area is huge so you can see many things from above. Add MBK Center to the list for mall hopping in Bangkok. This mall doesn’t house those high-end luxury brands. Instead, they have a Don Don Donki, souvenir shops, gold jewelry shops, second-hand electronics and repair shops, and tons of food. We found that the food here tends to have larger portions and lower prices than some of the other malls. The best trip of our life: The 10 days trip in Thailand was worth each minute spent as we covered temples, night markets, night life and the #beaches in Phuket - Phi phi island. One memorable part of the trip was to go to Grand Palace early morning. We were lucky to not have an entry fee on 23rd Oct as it was King’s Birthday (Happy Birthday King). #celebratewithtrip During Halloween day in Bangkok last week I went to MBK mall near Siam area, I saw many stores was designed and decorated with ghost or zoombee stickers to celebrate on 30th October(Halloween day). That is the western culture flow into Asian. Not even food stores or restaurants, but clothes shop also reveal the ghost toys to their customers.

The hottest suki buffet restaurant right now has opened a branch in the heart of Bangkok at MBK Center. What makes this branch special is that it has a corner for serving snacks and uses robots to help serve food. This branch always has long lines, especially on holidays. If the mall opens, you’ll have to wait at least 1-2 hours. Luckily, the restaurant uses the Queq queue management system, which will notify you of your queue status when you get your queue number. Bangkok is known for being one of the best places to go for shopping and one of its largest mall is MBK Center. With its eight floors, you can have a variety of boutiques to visit and hop on. We ended up buying not a single item nor clothing though as we were so confused on what to choose. This idea gets me laughing all the time. 😁 We enjoyed strolling there regardless as of course, we had Thai food on the table. Souvenirs, luggage, apparel & clothing, shoes, electronics, cosmetics, fake watches, jewelry and more. It's laid out in departments so each floor is easy enough to navigate. Prices are very fair, there is some negotiation if you wanted to. Tons of F&B from Turkish to Japanese, Korean to Thai. Gets very busy on weekends.
