The Fort Garden offers a broad view where one can closely observe the Ruins of St. Paul's, gaze at the Guia Lighthouse in the distance, the uniquely designed Grand Lisboa Hotel, the Macau Tower, Wanzai Pier in Zhuhai, and the modern high-rises of the Portas do Cerco. After visiting the museum, enjoying the sunset in the scenic Fort Garden is also a delightful experience. The view of the setting sun is exceptionally beautiful and very photogenic. I have taken a few photos to share with fellow travelers. For those who prefer not to climb stairs or slopes, you can take the elevator to the Fort Garden via the Macau Museum before 6 pm. At sunset, the sun set in the west and shone golden light on the outer wall of the Grand Lisboa. The bench is a must-have shooting prop here. There are many people queuing up to take photos. It is recommended to arrive at 4:30 pm to take more photos. 3⃣️Near Guia After the fort goes down the mountain, there are many criss-crossing streets. A telephoto lens is very suitable for street photography like this. 4⃣️Underground passage near Old Lisboa Entering from the underground passage at the old Putin's entrance, the light and shadow are very unique. 5️⃣Ruins of St. Paul's Ruins of St. Paul's is unique day and night. After clearing customs, go up the escalator on the left hand side, and queue at the end to take the shuttle bus. 🚌Shuttle Bus Route: Passes through The Parisian, The Venetian, and The Londoner hotels, with the destination station chosen based on your needs. These three attractions are very close to each other, with multiple shopping malls for leisure and shopping. I chose The Venetian as my main destination. Note: The first shuttle bus starts at 9:30 am, if you need to arrive early, consider taking a taxi (it is recommended to pay in Macanese pataca, as paying in RMB will not get you a favorable exchange rate) 🥰Sightseeing Route: Hengqin ➡️ The Venetian ➡️ Rua do Cunha ➡️ Ruins of St. Paul's ➡️ Monte Fort ➡️ New Yaohan ➡️ Nam Van Lake. Nam Van Lake is a tranquil place, sitting and enjoying the breeze is very pleasant. 🥰Food Recommendations: On Rua do Cunha, there's Lao Day beef offal, Tai Lei Loi Kei pork chop bun, Mok Yi Kei durian ice cream, Cheung Chau glutinous rice dumplings (optional, as they are filling and may reduce the experience of tasting other foods), Ma Jiao Tea Stall, and Secolo cafe. If you need to buy souvenirs, I recommend Koi Kei's egg rolls, they are very delicious! 🥰Return Route: The shuttle bus may not be timely, and you need to return to The Venetian station to wait for it, so it's better to take the 25B bus back (6 Macanese pataca), which is convenient and fast. Monte Fort

Monte Fort, also known as Fortaleza do Monte, Central Fort, or Fortaleza de São Paulo, is located beside the Ruins of St. Paul's and is one of the major historical attractions in Macau, China. Monte Fort was built in 1616 during the reign of Emperor Shenzong of Ming, originally owned by the church to protect the clergy inside St. Paul's Church from pirates, and later converted into a military facility area. Atop the fort, there is a vast expanse of open space with lush green grass; towering ancient trees thrive; and gigantic steel cannons stand imposingly. There are also many historical relics and architectural structures on the fort, such as the ancient tower, which was one of the sites of the Jesuit society. The Southern European-style bungalow built in the center of the open space serves as the office for the meteorological bureau.
