Last year, I went to chiangmai during my annual vacation. It's the end of October which the weather is cold. I went to Nimman road. There is One Nimman, the place that has a lot of food, art, things. Sometime there is night market.

It’s an open-air mall, western inspired mall with plenty of specialty stores, restaurants and bars, it almost feels like you’re not in Thailand. It’s such an interesting and cool place if you’re just looking for a nice walk and checking out vintage stores not to mention it being pet-friendly so you can bring your “fur-riend” for a stroll. Each corner of this shopping mall is just so photogenic. If you’re interested in Chiangmai’s rich culture, a visit to the Lanna Folk Museum near the Three Kings Monument is a perfect way to spend time indoors while learning about the city’s history. Mornings in Chiangmai are particularly charming in August, with Jing Jai Market offering a cloudy, cool atmosphere ideal for strolling through the market stalls, picking up fresh produce, and enjoying the laid-back vibe. For a breath of fresh, cool air, head up to Doi Suthep. The foggy weather and stunning views make it a perfect spot for those who love nature. The campsite is also home to avocado trees planted by the owners, adding a special touch to the experience.

My favorite place in Chiang Mai is One Nimman, Old City, Night Bazzar and White temple, Blue Temple and Black Temple. Both Chiang Mai and Chiang is nice place to stay for at least 2 weeks to enjoy their chill and slow life. Price here very reasonable too. Transport recommended using Bolts in stead of Grab ( very expensive, at least 30 to 50% more than Bolts ). Airport is very near to city.

I really like the vibe of this place as it looks like a European shopping arcade. You have cobblestone floors. There's also quite a number of shops to visit. At night, the front yard comes alive with the food stalls opening. You also have buskers who perform and add to the atmosphere. One Nimman is a trendy shopping mall with western style buildings located in the northwest corner of the Chiang Mai old city. It has a variety of shops selling contemporary local fashion and gifts , as well as cafes and restaurants serving Thai and international cuisine. On sunny days, the main courtyard is packed with stalls selling handmade crafts , jewelry and even clothes made by local designers. On rainy days, the indoor shopping areas is a great place to shop for a couple of hours. It even has a supermarket and a large beauty store selling all kinds of cosmetic products. If these shops are not enough, there is also another big shopping mall called Maya just across the street. This is a multi level mall much like the malls that we have shopped everywhere so definitely a good place to go on rainy days.
