Hey guys, I recently went to Guiyang and was really impressed by this city! The climate is pleasant, there are lots of delicious foods, and the scenery is beautiful. Now, let me share my two-day, one-night Guiyang travel guide with you. 📍City Impressions: Guiyang is a city surrounded by mountains and rivers, with fresh air and beautiful natural scenery. It has both ancient villages full of ethnic customs and modern urban landscapes. The pace of life is slow, and the city is full of life. It's a great place to relax. 🚗Transportation Guide: ✈️ Fly to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. There are many transportation options at the airport, including the subway, airport buses, and taxis. The subway goes directly to the city center, which is convenient and fast. There are also many airport bus routes, so you can choose the right one according to the location of your hotel. A taxi to the city center costs about CNY 30–50. 🚄 If you take the high-speed train, there are more trains to Guiyang North Station and Guiyang East Station. It's easy to transfer to a bus, subway, or taxi to your hotel. 🗺Travel Route: Day 1: Qianling Mountain Park - Jiaxiu Tower - Erqi Road Snack Street In the morning, go to Qianling Mountain Park to enjoy nature and the monkeys. Have a simple lunch near the park, then go to Jiaxiu Tower in the afternoon to admire this ancient building. In the evening, go to Erqi Road Snack Street to enjoy the food. You can overlook the whole city of Guiyang from the top of the mountain. 2. Jiaxiu Tower: A landmark building in Guiyang. It's very beautiful when lit up at night. Take a walk along the river and feel the charm of history. 3. Guizhou Provincial Museum: The museum has a rich and diverse collection. You can learn about the ethnic culture and history of Guizhou through various exhibits. Admission is free! 4. Erqi Road Snack Street: A food paradise! There are all kinds of Guizhou snacks. You can eat from one end of the street to the other and never stop. 5. Huaguoyuan Shopping Center: The largest real estate project in Asia. The mountains and rivers are like a paradise. There are also many activities in the scenic area. 9. Huaxi Yelang Valley: A stone castle full of artistic atmosphere. It's unique and mysterious, and looks great in photos. It's the work of artist Song Peilun. 📝Practical Tips: • Don't wear bright clothes to Qianling Mountain Park to avoid attracting too much attention from the monkeys. • You need to make a reservation for the Guizhou Provincial Museum in advance on the official WeChat account. Remember to bring your ID card. • Walk around Erqi Road Snack Street before deciding what to eat to avoid getting full too soon. 🍱Local Food Recommendations: • Siwawa: Various shredded vegetables wrapped in a thin pancake and drizzled with a special sauce. It's refreshing, sour, and spicy. One bite is very satisfying! • Sour Soup Fish: The red sour soup is rich in flavor, and the fish is tender. The vegetables absorb the essence of the soup, which is sour and spicy. A bowl will warm you up in winter. • Love Tofu: Grilled tofu with a crispy outside and tender inside, stuffed with houttuynia cordata, chili, and other seasonings. It's spicy and delicious, with a unique flavor. • Yangyu Baba: Golden and crispy fried potatoes with chili powder. They're fragrant and glutinous, and a common street snack in Guiyang. • Beef Noodles: The beef is stewed until tender and flavorful, the rice noodles are smooth and chewy, and the soup is rich. A bowl in the morning will start your day off right. • Qingyan Braised Pig's Feet: The pig's feet are braised to perfection. They're soft and chewy, with fragrant skin and tender meat. They're full of collagen, but not greasy. 🏠Hotel Accommodation: • Near Penshuichi: All Seasons Hotel. It's in a great location with convenient transportation. It's easy to shop and eat nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the price is reasonable. • Near Jiaxiu Tower: Sofitel Guiyang Hunter. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Jiaxiu Tower. The hotel has high-end facilities and attentive service, but the price is relatively high. • Near Huaguoyuan: Vienna International Hotel. The price is moderate. It's close to Huaguoyuan Shopping Center and the White House, so it's convenient to travel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Tips: • The weather in Guiyang is changeable, so remember to bring rain gear and a coat. • People in Guizhou love spicy food. If you can't eat spicy food, remember to tell the waiter in advance. • Download the "Guizhou Tong" app to make it easier to take the bus or subway. Guiyang is a treasure city. Two days and one night is a short time, but it's enough to experience its unique charm. Pack your bags and go!💕

Day1: 1⃣️ Arrive in Guiyang at noon, visit Qianling Mountain Park to see monkeys in the afternoon. There are the most monkeys near Hongfu Temple, monkeys everywhere as long as you don't carry bags or water, they generally won't attack! (Play time about 2-3 hours) 2⃣️ After getting tired, go to Minsheng Road for snacks, a street full of food (Food recommendations: Danjia Crispy Duck, Crispy Potato Cake, Love Tofu Fruit, Bowl Cake, Sausage Prosperity Noodles, Sour Soup Fish) 3⃣️ After eating, you can go to Jiaxiu Tower and Huaguoyuan White House to take night photos, Huaguoyuan White House is very photogenic! (Qianling Park, Jiaxiu Tower, Huaguoyuan White House these three places are not far from each other, accessible by bus) 4⃣️ Accommodation suggestion: stay near the fountain Day2: Joined a day tour (Libo Small Seven Holes - Qianhu Miao Village), the tour I joined only included the transportation fee, nothing else. Since the attractions in Guizhou are quite scattered, I think it might be more convenient to join a tour! 1⃣️ Depart at 7 am, arrive at Libo Small Seven Holes Scenic Area at 12 pm, if it didn't rain heavily the day before, you will see a place like an emerald, beautiful scenery, but also crowded, basically queuing for sightseeing buses all the way. 2⃣️ Depart at 17:00 to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, arrive at the village's main north gate around 20:30, take a sightseeing bus to the small north gate inside the scenic area, the place I stayed had a night view right out of the window, and there was a quiet little bar next door suitable for 2-3 people to drink and enjoy the evening breeze, just tipsy enough! (However, I prefer the Miao Village during the day, the layered Miao Village is very characteristic)! Day3: 1⃣️ In the morning, went to Dongyin Village viewing platform to see the fields, terraces, stilted buildings, Beauty Lean, and the various aspects of local life in Xijiang 2⃣️ Then went to the Miao Village Museum (opposite the old street basketball court) to learn about the history and culture of the Miao Village. 3⃣️ In the afternoon at 14:00, went to the Lusheng Field to watch the local performance (free of charge) 4⃣️ After the performance, went to 'Yedong Village' to experience handmade batik! ⚠️ Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Scenic Area has a direct bus to Kaili South High-speed Railway Station 🚌 (25/person) that departs at fixed times! I just didn't check the time and missed the bus. I took a private car that solicits passengers at the entrance of the scenic area (40/person). ⚠️ Don't book too high for accommodation in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, it's hard to climb stairs, and the roads inside the village are also uneven. Ask the store in advance which gate to get off at, the scenic area is divided into west and north gates. Tickets 🎫: Qianling Mountain Park (2.5/person) Libo Small Seven Holes + Sightseeing Car (110/person) Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village + 4 Sightseeing Cars (65/person) Essentials: Umbrella, Sunglasses, Mosquito Repellent Water, Sun Protection Clothing, Sunscreen, Wet Wipes, Earphones, Tissues, Power Bank

Resting at about 1200 m altitude, Guiyang is a reasonably cold city in winter for that far south. What is striking about it, is the sheer amount of green the city incorporates. It does not therefore, come as a surprise, that its main sights are actually parks and forests and animals living there. We chose to stay in the center, near where the two metro lines cross. It was a solid location, but a bit further south, closer to the Nanming river, would have been optimal. If budget is not a consideration for you booking one of the upscale hotels with a view of the river and the Jiaxiu pavilion is a great option. Taking an evening stroll along the river was pleasant, Jiaxiu pavilion and especially the bridge it sits on have a really authentic feel to it. Further west down the river there are really nice murals that combined with some 'projector magic' tell really nice stories at night. Guiyang is also known as a liquor producer, so if you spot some buildings reminding you of liquor bottles it is not your imagination. What I found a bit infuriating about the city center is how restricted its streets and pavements feel. Very rarely will a street let you cross without shoving you down to a shabby looking underpass with no working escalator. While this works great for the traffic safety, it does make a casual stroll around the city quite annoying. But, where the Guiyang really shines and why it should be visited are its parks and forests. To start with QianLing Mountain Park was probably the best place we went to in Guiyang. A large centrally located park in the middle of the city has everything you would want from a park. Hills, forests, small lakes, temples, great views, a cable car for those less willing to hike, a small zoo and of course the monkeys. A lot of monkeys. A lot of always hungry monkeys. While I found them great and highly entertaining in their attempts to steal and rob you of anything that can count as food, some precaution might be in order. Keep your backpacks firmly zipped, your phone unexposed and in general do not show any food unless you are willing to have it taken from you. Apart from QianLing, Guiyang's aptly named forest park is another large park. I am actually not sure if there is an official entrance to this large patch of forest. I entered by a muddy road bypassing a construction site and exited on the other side through someone's vegetable farm. Still, the actual forest is really nice and large and there is a Red cross memorial for those interested in Wartime history. To sum up, we liked Guiyang, it felt rather different than most big cities. Really green, the city itself a bit rundown, but also laid back. #urbanexplorer#wintergetaway

Location - Qianling Hill, Zaoshan Road, Yunyan, Guiyang. Getting There - Easily available to travel in Guiyang city using public transportation directly to Qianlingshan Park. Attractions - From the entrance, continue strolling along the 382-Steps Nine-Twist Path to reach the Kirin Cave of Qianling, just right opposite Qianling Spring. Besides the stalactite shapes inside the cave that looks like mythical beast Kirin, this place is also a famous historical area during the War of Resistance against the Japanese. In this park you can see hundreds of monkeys roaming around 🐒 Climbing the hills feel like little adventurous because if the monkeys find out any food items in our hands or bags they will snach it. We had a couple of experience. So in the park especially near the monkeys don't take out any food items. You can use the ropeway 🚠 if you don't want to climb the hill. There is one temple at the top of the Hill it says that praying here will make your wishes come true. There is also a small zoo inside. The area is very big and it has boat ride, rollercoaster type ride and other activities. But all are in different areas. #momentsmission #nationalpark #Hikingtrails

Guiyang Travel|A touch of autumn in the Lingling Mountain Park , meaning the Lingshan in the middle of the mountain, is known as the first mountain in southern Anhui. The park consists of six large browsing areas, such as Hongfu Temple, Qianling Lake and Sanling Bay. Each scenic spot has its own unique charm. Together, it forms the famous beautiful urban park in Guiyang. The autumn gives the Lingling Mountain Park a new color. The two rows of tall and old sycamore trees at the entrance seem to be dried. The dry leaves are floating in the branches, but it adds a few to the whole park. The taste of bleak. Park tickets are also very cheap, 5 yuan / person, scan code can be purchased, very convenient. After entering the park, it was the red-yellow leaves that covered the mountains. It was a good autumn scenery, and the sky was blue. There is another big thing to say about the park, the monkeys that are everywhere on the mountainside. Walk on the stairs, there are often countless monkeys blocking the way. Sometimes I dont know if the monkeys are watching tourists or tourists are watching monkeys. One pair wants to leave the expression of buying money. However, don't worry too much, don't provoke them, they are generally too lazy to pay attention to tourists, they will only help the other side under the sun, or three or two piles together to play, Or self-entertainment, no stop.
