The Waterside Platform in the East is a great place to take photos of Matcha Lake. The West has deer, a pier, and a large lawn. There are restrooms in the scenic area and vending machines at the pier. 🎟️Tickets: CNY 40/person, Hangzhou Cultural Tourism Card CNY 29.9 (free). Kayak: CNY 120/hour for a single, CNY 220/hour for a double. 💗Other Tips: When playing on the water climbing net, remember to keep your keys and phone safe. If you want to take photos with no one else in them, be sure to go early, preferably before 9 am. There are few people in the scenic area, so you can take photos freely. After 9:30 am, people will start to arrive. Be sure to wear black clothes for great photos. If you want to create a deep and mysterious feel, just lower the brightness. There are black swans in the scenic area, but I didn't see any. It's a matter of luck. I did see squirrels though.

The forest lake is covered with vibrant duckweed, and occasionally large white geese and fat ducks will swim by leisurely. You can also paddle into this forest shrouded in green light in a kayak, gently drifting on the duckweed. #hangzhou Qingshan Lake is on the West side of Hangzhou city. It's a beautiful reservoir with amazing views, paths to walk and cycle. You can also take a boat or kayak. There aren't many areas to eat although you can find some food vendors. It can get a bit crowded during the weekends so I would recommend getting early or visiting during weekdays. If you come to Hangzhou I would totally recommend you to add it to your list if you enjoy nature.

Qingshan Lake is a scenic area in Lin’an surrounded by mountains, some pavilions, walkways and a cycling trail. The area isn’t very developed and commercial. Construction work is part of the scenery at some point. Very few hotels, restaurants and shops are around the lake. The cycling trail is what makes Qingshan Lake an exciting place. The views are stunning and relaxing ⛰🌿🍃Tranquil corners with benches around the lake are great spots for breaks from cycling. Shared bike parkings, mostly Hello Bikes, are scattered around the lake. December is the best time to visit Lin'an, but the area is too large to cover in a day, so I only visited two places. 1. Lin'an Museum: The museum is currently exhibiting ancient Chinese jewelry. The first picture shows a replica of a Song dynasty phoenix crown, the second picture shows a beautiful phoenix hairpin, the third picture shows a gold hairpin as thin as a cicada's wing, and the fourth picture shows a poem by Su Shi, which says that Yuqian (Lin'an) does not follow Confucianism (I understand this to mean that Lin'an does not follow the patriarchal teachings, and women have a high status, which also shows that women in Zhejiang have been well-educated and respected since ancient times). The museum mainly exhibits cultural relics from the Qian family of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, as shown in pictures 5-7. The Qian family has produced many famous people over the past thousand years, including the three Qian scientists of modern China, who are the pride of Lin'an. The museum is also beautiful, with a unique architectural style. 2. Qingshan Lake Water Forest: In early to mid-December, the redwoods, blue sky, and green duckweed create a feast for the eyes.
