This Wuhan park is beautiful, and the subway takes you right there!
There is nothing more delightful in winter than discovering a colorful secret place. This park in Wuhan is like a palette of colors spilled by nature itself! 🎨
The subway takes you right there, and it's easy to take your kids. What are you waiting for? Come on a spontaneous art trip! 👣
Walking into the park is like stepping into a moving painting. The trees are dressed in their winter finery, with steady greens, fiery reds, and brilliant yellows. 🍁 Every step with your child is an exploration, and every moment is a chance to grow. Observe the ginkgo, maple, and pine trees with your child. Why are some trees still full of leaves, while others are bare? Encourage them to think and feel the diversity of nature and the miracle of life. 🍂 Falling leaves mark the arrival of autumn and the rhythm of life. 🍂
This kind of parent-child time not only strengthens your bond but also cultivates your child's observation, imagination, and creativity.

Niche travel route
Qingshan Park Gate 1 → Qingfeng Bridge → Waterside Oil Painting → Ginkgo Tree → Dujuan Creek
-
Must-visit spots
1⃣Waterside oil painting
This is the most popular spot in Qingshan Park. Walk to the right of the main entrance and cross Qingfeng Bridge, and you'll see it. The dawn redwoods are all red, and other plants are also very saturated. Come when the sun is out, and the original photos will look like oil paintings.
·
2⃣Dujuan Creek
If you see a corridor, you're on the right track. There are many red maples, ginkgoes, and sweetgums here. Photos taken with the scenery as the background have a classic charm, and traditional Chinese-style clothing will match better.
-
Travel tips
✔It's better to take photos when the sun is out. I took mine on a cloudy day, for reference
✔Qingshan Park is large, and it's easy to get lost. You can't find each spot with navigation, so have a "surprise" mindset when exploring

Not just the Cloud Mist Mountain, these places in Wuhan city are bursting with azaleas
💐 As one of the top four places in China to appreciate azaleas, the Cloud Mist Mountain is truly spectacular with its mountainsides covered in red azaleas. However, it is quite crowded and far from the city center, so today I'm sharing some places within Wuhan city where you can enjoy the azaleas~
🌸 Azalea Blooming Period: April 10th to the end of April
✅ Places to Appreciate Azaleas
1. East Lake Moshan Azalea Garden
No admission fee | Free! The path is lined with blooming red azaleas, and the whole garden is brimming with the spirit of spring! It's great for taking photos and is a perfect spot for a weekend outing to relax and enjoy the spring!
2. Qingshan Park
No admission fee | Free! This park is a real hidden gem, with over ten thousand azalea bushes, probably the largest azalea viewing spot within Wuhan city! The lake and greenery create a lush environment, not just with azaleas but also some late cherry blossoms that are particularly beautiful! I recommend everyone to visit if you have the chance; it's truly beautiful!
3. Wuhan Botanical Garden
Admission fee required | 30 RMB! There's a wide variety of azaleas, arranged in a pleasing, undulating pattern! It's very suitable for taking photos! The botanical garden has also been upgraded recently, with large green lawns where you can lie down and daydream, which is really pleasant!!
4. Ma'anshan Forest Park
No admission fee | Free! The azaleas are planted along the hillside in layers, giving a feeling similar to the Cloud Mist Mountain! If you go now, you can also take pictures of the hydrangeas, which are blooming at a lower height and are very photogenic! It's the best choice for an urban hike and oxygen intake!
5. East Lake Tingtao Scenic Area
Just navigate to Lanfu Parking Lot! Once you arrive, turn right, and you'll see a whole area of azaleas, which are quite low and less crowded! It's very suitable for taking photos! It feels like being enveloped by flowers!
It's the weekend! I wish everyone a fun time and hope you take beautiful pictures! Hehe!!

Qingshan Park 🌸 green cherry 🌸💚
#cherryblossom2024
In spring, Qingshan Park becomes a vibrant canvas adorned with the mesmerizing beauty of late cherry blossoms. The Cherry Blossom Garden is currently teeming with hundreds of late cherry trees, creating a lively spectacle that epitomizes the essence of the season. 🌸🌳
What makes this display truly unique is the presence of the rare "national treasure" variety known as "Yu Jin Ying." More than 10 Curcuma cherry trees, seemingly adorned with lush new leaves from a distance, surprise visitors with their hidden secret - green cherry blossoms in full bloom. These tender green blossoms, elegantly concealed among the pink cherry blossoms, exude a shy yet captivating charm, akin to a bashful maiden revealing her beauty to the world. 🌿🌸
As visitors approach these green cherry trees, they are greeted by a breathtaking sight akin to a cascading green waterfall, with delicate petals gracefully adorning the branches. Each petal, resembling layers of pastry in a thousand-layered bread, invites onlookers to marvel at its intricate beauty. From the early flowering stage, characterized by deep green hues at the petal base, to the middle and late stages where colors gradually fade, these green cherry blossoms offer a refreshing and elegant allure unlike any other. 🌸💚
Amidst the enchanting display of blossoms, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the tranquil ambiance of Qingshan Park and savor the fleeting beauty of late cherry blossoms. The flowering period of the "Yujin Cherry" variety spans approximately 10 days, with an expected end in the middle of April. Don't miss this opportunity to witness nature's breathtaking masterpiece in full bloom. 🌸🌿 #SpringSplendor #LateCherryBlossoms

Enjoy free cherry blossoms, crabapple flowers, and peach blossoms at Wuhan Qingshan Park
March in the warm spring, it's time to see cherry blossoms in the great Wuhan. You don't need to spend money to visit the crowded East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden, nor do you need to make a reservation three days in advance to visit Wuhan University. Let me recommend a place with fewer people, beautiful scenery, and free admission for flower viewing, Wuhan Qingshan Park. Take the subway to Honggangcheng Station, and it's an 8-minute walk from Exit A to the park entrance. At this time, cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, and crabapple flowers are all blooming splendidly. There are more than a thousand artificially planted cherry trees, most of which are concentrated in the cherry blossom garden in the southeast corner of the park.
Wuhan Qingshan Park covers an area of 330,000 square meters, making it the largest district-level park in Wuhan. The park is very green, with lush trees, flowers, and green waters surrounding it, creating a verdant atmosphere. Walking along the road lined with French plane trees is particularly serene. The pavilions, terraces, towers, small bridges, and flowing water that come into view are very beautiful and full of artistic conception, making it especially suitable for leisurely walks and visits. The rich fragrance is refreshing! Strolling slowly in the park is like wandering in a sea of flowers, free from any distractions.

Wuhan, this underrated floral world
What you witness in Qingshan Park is truly a floral world that lives up to its name!
As soon as you enter the main gate, you are greeted by two pink magnolias. As you walk deeper, you will slowly see the forsythias by the lake, the camellias, crabapple flowers, and michelias next to the park pavilions, and of course, the signature pear blossoms of Qingshan Park at the very end~
Surely no one can resist the floral world under the spring sunshine.
Specific location: Qingshan Park, directly accessible by Metro Line 5 to Honggangcheng; driving is also convenient, the parking lot at the entrance is very cheap.
Stone benches under the pear trees, the arch bridge by the lake, and not far from the lake there is a dwarf magnolia.

Wuhan - Freezing rain, it's beautiful but also a disaster
As the New Year of 2024 approaches,
It's time for the annual Spring Festival travel rush
Eager to return home and reunite
But the weather is not as expected
We need to pay high attention to the weather during the Spring Festival travel rush
The rime formed by freezing rain is a beautiful natural landscape, but it is also a disaster.
💙Meteorological science popularization for children, understand the formation principle of freezing rain and its powerful destructive power
🌧Freezing rain
It is a kind of disastrous weather seen in early winter or late winter and early spring.
🥶Analysis
Freezing rain is supercooled raindrops (temperature below 0℃ but not frozen into ice) that quickly freeze into ice when they encounter objects with temperatures below 0℃ during their fall, that is, it rains in the sky and turns into ice when it hits the ground.
🧊Alias
It is also known as ground armor, freezing, freezing, falling ice, ground oil, flowing ice, tung oil freezing.
🔵Relationship
Freezing rain and rime are of the same kind, both are ice shells formed by supercooled water droplets adhering to the surface of objects. Among them, freezing rain is a special type of precipitation and weather phenomenon, while rime is its by-product, a kind of disaster or landscape, that is, the commonly seen ice crystal tree hanging. Freezing rain is not the only cause of rime formation, but if it rains freezing, rime will definitely form.
⚠️Hazard
Freezing rain can cause harm to power communication, transportation, agriculture, and people
🔴Warning level
The freezing warning levels from low to high are yellow, orange, and red, and the main difference between different levels of freezing warnings is the duration of freezing weather.
