Xi'an is great, but I won't come back next time! I'm scared...
Xi'an 3-day 2-night travel guide: My real travel experience
Xi'an, if you plan to go, remember to bring light clothes and comfortable shoes, walking is an important part of the tour!
Day 1: Historical precipitation and cultural collision
My first stop in Xi'an was the Terracotta Army. This world-famous site is truly worthy of its reputation, it really shocked me! The opening hours are from 8am to 5pm, and the ticket price is around 150 yuan, but it's worth every penny.
Walking into the museum, it's like traveling back to over two thousand years ago, standing in front of rows of lifelike terracotta warriors, feeling the weight of history. It is recommended to come in the morning, when there are relatively fewer tourists, so you can better appreciate each detail. It is recommended to book tickets online in advance to avoid the hassle of queuing on site.
After visiting the Terracotta Army, I chose to go to Huaqing Palace. Not only is there beautiful scenery, but there are also rich historical stories. The ticket price for Huaqing Palace is around 100 yuan. I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon here, strolling through the ancient gardens, imagining the romantic stories of the Tang Dynasty emperors and concubines. In the evening, I tasted authentic Youpo Noodles at a nearby restaurant. The chewy noodles with spicy oil sauce are truly unforgettable!
Day 2: The charm of the ancient city
On the second day, I chose to visit the Xi'an City Wall. This ancient city wall is one of the most complete surviving city walls in China, and it is suitable for cycling. The rental fee is about 40 yuan. Cycling on the city wall, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Xi'an city center and feel the perfect fusion of history and modernity.
At noon, my friends and I had a hearty lunch on Huimin Street. The mutton soup and meat sandwiches here are absolutely not to be missed! Especially the mutton soup, take a bite, the soup is thick and the meat is tender, intoxicating. Huimin Street is full of snacks, such as Xi'an Liangpi and peanut butter pancakes, each of which makes me unable to stop eating, it's simply a feast of food!
In the afternoon, I visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is not only a landmark of Xi'an, but also has a long history of Buddhist culture. The opening hours of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are from 8am to 6pm, and the ticket price is 50 yuan. Climb to the top of the pagoda and overlook the beautiful scenery of Xi'an, it is truly refreshing. In the evening, I took a walk in the Music Fountain Square near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The fountain dances with the music, as if time has stopped for it.
Day 3: The intersection of culture and art
On the last day, I decided to go to the Shaanxi History Museum. The museum has a rich collection, showcasing the history and culture of Shaanxi. The museum is free to enter, but reservations are required in advance. It is recommended to book online, otherwise you may encounter queuing.
Here, I am deeply attracted by the exquisite ancient artifacts and the weight of history, especially the bronzeware of the Han Dynasty, which shows the glory of that era. After the tour, I enjoyed a simple lunch at the museum's cafe, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.
In the afternoon, I finally went to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is much less crowded than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, suitable for quietly enjoying the tranquility of the city. Standing in front of the pagoda, feeling the passage of time, I couldn't help but think about the wisdom of the ancients.
