unBALIevable time
Travelled across this gem of an island. Absolute paradise for those looking for sun, sand and sea. Had the opportunity to undertake a Balinese cooking class to get a greater tatse of the local cuisine and culture, which I highly recommend. Brilliant to see the local markets in Ubud with all the different ingredients required for a traditional meal!
Visiting Gili T was the end of this trip, very easily reached from Bali. Slower pace of life, just to relax before heading back to reality

During my visit, I was able to do the famous Balinese flower bath, the Bali swing, and visit a popular beach club called Finns! I had an amazing time and I plan to go back very soon for my next tropical vacation! I love that you can rent a villa or stay in a traditional hotel, whichever you prefer. Visiting Ubud Palace - for the first time 🫶
Are you heading to Bali soon? Particularly in Ubud. It is somewhat impossible to visit Ubud without having quick tour at Ubud Palace.
Ubud Palace is located in the town center of Ubud. From Monkey Forest, you can walk your way to Ubud Palace, it would take only around 10min. Just be aware that there would be some monkeys roaming the streets, so be mindful of your belongings while walking. When you finally reach the place, you can just directly go inside. Although, there are so many tourists visiting the said place, it is still something you might want to consider.
Entrance fee to Ubud Palace is free. How's that? We definitely enjoyed our quick visit here.
💰Admission fee: Free

Luxury Villa in the Middle of Ubud
Embark on a mindful journey to the extraordinary – to a place that is fully immersed into the surroundings, an intimate Ubud, Nau comprise only 10 villas surrounded with rice terrace, features each villa is complemented with an infinity plunge pool and an outdoor natural stone bathtub bringing us yet closer to the Balinese landscape embracing the resort.
Nau Villa is located in a terraced valley in the village of tegalalang which is only 15 kilometers from the cultural city of Ubud designed by a Balinese architect that integrated luxuries with the natural surroundings, so we can enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature.
The rooms are decorated nicely - they feel luxurious yet authentic. The high ceiling made it feel even more spacious as did the big window doors that open out to the private pool deck area. The private pool area was amazing. The water itself was a little too cold to be honest, but cooling off in your own pool on a hot Bali day is nothing to complain about.

One of Coolest Hotels in Jimbaran Bali
One of the best Bali family resorts, the Movenpick Resort Bali located in Jimbaran Bay is a great choice for your next Bali holiday. I love the gorgeous pools at the Movenpick Jimbaran and the facilities are 5 star.
There is also a golf cart shuttle from the back gate at the Movenpick each day on the hour from 8am until 7pm. The Movenpick is a large resort with majority of rooms overlooking the awesome pool area. Right next door is the Samasta Lifestyle Village with a variety of shops and restaurants.

Lovely place, great facilities, easy access to the beach with a bit of walk.
Ubud’s Best Kept Secret
A luxurious jungle resort and spa, located mere minutes from the Hanging Gardens, with villas built into the landscape and surrounded by unspoiled Balinese jungle. Set in a beautiful and secluded location, with stunning individual villas, a unique set up, unrivaled views & a delicious restaurant, this is one place to stay that you’ll want to consider if you’re researching a holiday in Ubud.
The rooms were absolutely stunning, each set in an independent villa type chalet with a balcony that overlooked the jungle. With just 18 traditional villas landscaped into the hillside, Nandini Bali feels exclusive, secluded and romantic. Each villa has been built in keeping with the beautiful area, using natural materials and accessed by a funicular (or hundreds of steps) and offers fantastic views.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the mosquito net and plug ins did their job perfectly. We had a fridge in the room too which was handy for keeping drinks in and allowed us to enjoy a glass or two whilst getting ready in the evenings or whilst we played games on the balcony before bed.
The view from the pool at the Nandini Resort is something else. No photo can do it any justice as you are literally surrounded by raw, untouched natural Balinese jungle and forest.

5 Beach Clubs You Must Visit When In Bali🤫
1. Minoo Beach Club
Minoo Beach Club is a beach club located in the Ungasan area, Badung, Bali. This Beach Club opened in July 2020 and has attracted a lot of attention from Balinese tourists to visit it. The meaning of Minoo is "Heaven" which is taken from Persian. Of course, maybe the reason for choosing that name is because of its beauty that will make visitors feel like they are in heaven.
2. Tropical Temptation Beach Club
One of Bali's most popular beaches, Melasti Beach, is where Tropical Temptation Beach Club is located. Local designers created an immersive bamboo structure that pays homage to our artisanal Balinese history. Unobstructed views of Melasti's magnificent beach provide a striking vantage point for Tropical Temptation Beach Club.
3. Roosterfish Beach Club
Roosterfish Beach Club is located at Pandawa Beach, one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in Bali. With a large beach side pool flanked by bamboo cabanas and sun loungers, a restaurant and a bar, live DJs and entertainment, Roosterfish Beach Club offers a great beach day out for everyone.
4. Vue8 Beach Club
Voted as one of the top 10 beaches in the world, Canggu Beach welcomes Vue Beach Club, the ultimate beach club concept in Bali. A sizzling blend of design, international Djs, exotic cocktails and dazzling entertainment, Vue Beach Club provides guests with an around-the-clock experience from a relaxing day to romantic sunsets through an enchanting nightly celebration.
5. Mrs Sippy
Mrs Sippy Bali is a huge pool club’ like sop many others in Bali such as Potato Head and Ku De Ta except this venue is the latest uber-hip club that has made a huge splash from the moment it opened its doors in 2016. For those of you who are staying in a Seminyak Area, it’s well worth a visit, even to see what the fuss is about.

A Beautiful Water Palace in Bali
Ujung Soekasada Park was built in 1919 by I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, The King of Karangasem at that time, and the construction finally completed in 1926. It had not been operating since the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963. After being revitalized, now Taman Ujung Soekasada is one of the must visit place in Bali. The distance is about 2 hours drive from Legian. If you pay close attention, you can see the influence of Chinese and Dutch culture on the design of the building. It's a 10 hectares palace complex. The best time to visit this palace is in the morning, because the location is in the east of Bali, so it is suitable for hunting the sunrise in the morning. Plus, you can't find any crowd in every corner of the palace. As you arrived, just go to the highest point of the palace. You can see Bali Strait from#awesomepic #beachlife #bali #indonesia #wecreate
Raja Lima Nusa Penida, Miniature Raja Ampat!
This one is also a must-visit when in Nusa Penida. Raja Lima, also known as the 'miniature' of Raja Ampat. The journey here is not easy and requires a 15-minute trekking, so it requires determination and extra energy because the terrain is quite steep. But don't hesitate, because once you arrive at the location, you will feel rewarded with the beautiful view of the ocean and karst formations.
Before reaching Raja Lima, you will also pass through the famous Tree House, which is a popular spot for taking photos. It's often seen on social media because it's very Instagrammable, known as the Molenteng Tree House. However, there is an admission fee for taking photos here, around 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah per person (if it hasn't changed). Oh, and when visiting here, don't forget to apply sunscreen and bring some water because it can get very hot.
After enjoying taking photos at the Tree House, you can continue hiking and reach a point where you can admire the ocean and the cluster of karst hills resembling those in Raja Ampat. To get here, you need to cross from Bali to Nusa Penida first.

Taman Ujung, Once Haunting, Now Beautiful!
Taman Ujung Soekasada. When I arrived here, I never expected the garden to be this beautiful. The pond, which used to be a place for disposing of individuals with black magic, was called Kolam Dirah and had a somewhat eerie reputation. But don't worry, that was in the past. Now, the place has been transformed into something incredibly stunning, with its lush greenery creating a sense of tranquility.
This garden was built by King Karangasem in 1901, known as I Gusti Bagus Jelantik. In 1909, he commissioned the Dutch architect Van Den Hentz and the Chinese architect Loto Ang to develop the Kolam Dirah (the aforementioned disposal site) into a resting place for the King of Karangasem.
Honestly, I absolutely love the classical architecture of the buildings here. Every corner of this place is so picturesque, making it impossible to resist taking countless photos. The panoramic view from the top of the stairs (which can be quite tiring to climb) is also breathtaking, with lush green hills, Bisbis Hill, and Ujung Beach in sight.
Moreover, the intricate architectural details and the carved statues here are fascinating, particularly their eyes, which sometimes feel as if they are watching you—quite intriguing, really. Especially when you know the stories behind this garden... But don't worry, as long as we behave respectfully and follow the rules, everything will be fine. So, when visiting, please ensure to be polite and abide by the regulations.
By the way, the entrance fee is around 10,000 IDR, and the parking fee is 5,000 IDR. It's quite affordable, considering how well-maintained and preserved this historical attraction in Bali is. #beachlife #bali #nusapenida #travel #indonesia
Bingin Beach Bali
This is my favourite beach in the Southern part of Bali. It is is beautiful and lively, and it doesn't get too busy. It is not easily accessible as you have to climb down some stairs, but it's not hard to access for most people. Lots of nice restaurants and great food. When the water is not too wavy, it's an excellent place to swim, and it's a great place for surfing. Highly recommended.

Pantai Cinta Kedungu
The view is beautiful, access to the beach can only be passed by motorbikes and many pass through rice fields make the atmosphere calm in the afternoon, for food it's worth it for Rp 150.000 to get delicious food with a comfortable place. I suggest coming at 6 pm so it's not too hot and immediately can see the sunset view.
Very beautiful spot to enjoy sunset wit beautiful waves, the area is still green, mostly lovers couple whose came to this place.

Bali a natural paradise for adventurous
Bali is a paradise for nature lovers, offering a wealth of natural wonders that will take your breath away. From pristine beaches to lush rainforests, the island is a treasure trove of natural beauty that must be seen to be believed.
One of the highlights of my trip to Bali was visiting the Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Ubud. The rice paddies are a marvel of engineering and have been cultivated for centuries by Balinese farmers. The sight of the terraced fields stretching out into the distance is truly awe-inspiring, and it's easy to spend hours wandering through the rice paddies and taking in the stunning views.
Another must-see attraction in Bali for nature lovers is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary.
Located in the heart of Ubud, the sanctuary is home to a large population of macaque monkeys and is set amidst a lush forest that is a haven for wildlife. Visitors can watch the playful monkeys swing from tree to tree and interact with each other in their natural habitat.
For those who love the ocean, Bali has some of the best beaches in the world, such as Nusa Dua and Kuta. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing, while the soft sand is ideal for lounging in the sun and soaking up the tropical ambiance.
Finally, Bali is also home to a number of natural hot springs, such as the Banjar Hot Springs in the north of the island. These hot springs are surrounded by lush vegetation and are a great way to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of exploring the island's natural wonders.
Overall, Bali is a dream destination for nature lovers, offering a wealth of natural attractions that are sure to leave you in awe. Whether you're exploring the rice terraces, interacting with the monkeys, or soaking in the hot springs, Bali is a magical place that will leave a lasting impression on your heart and soul. #bali #beachlife
La Brisa, a Canggu’s Beach Club Experience
#bali has always been popular with its beaches and obviously beach clubs will be everywhere, too!
Heard this place is always crowded every day, but when I was there it was just nice. Not too crowded but enough to keep it lively. They say it is better during the day as you will be able to see the ocean and enjoy the swimming pool then also watch the sun sets while sipping on your drinks.
Foods was okay, drinks was nice, but definitely come here with a group of friends to enjoy good times!

To Bali, with love.
As someone new to Bali, 5 days is the right amount of duration to spend on this lovely yet cultural intriguing island. Here’s the rundown of the 5 days escapade.
Day 1: Took Malindo (Penang-Kuala Lumpur-Bali) and arrived in Bali around 9pm. Rough start but it’s worth the journey. It’s advisable to book taxi beforehand (via Klook) or hail cab using Grab/Bluebird. Took Bluebird (Denpasar Airport - Canggu) and it took about an hour. Stayed at a lovely villa with 3 individual rooms in Canggu with friends that provide the ultimate privacy.
Day 2: Had a day tour (booked via Klook) at Uluwatu area (beach + coffee plantation + Uluwatu temple + Kecak dance performance). Heavy rain throughout the day but stopped just in time for the performance during sunset. The dance is pretty unique and interesting as well. Visited Motel Mexicola & Red Ruby clubs at night, best night in town!
Day 3: Another day tour (booked via Klook as well) at Ubud (Monkey Forest + Tibumana Waterfall + Local souvenir shop + Pura Tirta Empul + Tegallalang Ricefield). Friends experienced purification ritual at Pura Tirta Empul claimed it was therapeutic and soul cleansing.
Day 4: Spend the whole day at Finns VIP Beach Club to celebrate friends’ birthday. Nuff said.
Day 5: Departed at 4:50pm (Bali - Kuala Lumpur - Penang) and landed at 10pm.
The whole trip was indeed packed with activities and exhausting at one point, but the experience was priceless and worthy.
