Established since the end of 2019, I finally was able to visit Mineral Cafe at the end of 2020. After googling on the internet, it turns out that this cafe belongs to a celebrity couple, namely Desta and his wife Natasha Rizky. From the outside, this cafe looks simple with white paint decorated with several rows of potted plants in front of it. Entering inside, I was immediately spoiled with the eco-industrial design style with a minimalist concept. The wall elements are made as if they are unfinished, but therein lies the artistic value. Some ornamental plants are also present in the room, giving the impression of a comfortable shade. The menu line here is quite diverse, I myself ordered one of the traditional menus called Mie Goreng Tek-tek (Rp.39,000, -) a plate of typical noodles from the wagon brothers with a sweet taste, rich in savory nuances that were delicious on the tongue. The stuffing is also a lot, there are chicken, eggs, vegetables and of course additional prawn crackers. Not only local menus, they also have Italian-style dishes such as Carbonara Fettuchine (Rp. 44,000,-). Seen from its appearance, this menu is so appetizing. The pasta texture is aldente with a creamy, milky, savory and delicious sauce. Don't forget there are additional pieces of smoked beef in it, you know. For the drink I chose Es Kopi Susu (Rp. 37,000,-) served in a bottle complete with the Mineral Cafe logo, this drink has a coconut sensation with a sweet, creamy, milky taste and coffee that has a fairly strong acidity level. This is one of the recommended cafes around Karet-Setiabudi-Sudirman. The location is a bit tucked away in an alley (not the side of the highway), but that's what makes this place cozy and comfortable. Giyanti is one of those hidden treasures that one must find and go when in search for a good coffee while in Jakarta. The place is superb. With a thoughtful industrial style interior, it's a jungle for some people who wants to update their social media. It's very photogenic, even the door is photogenic. The staffs are very nice and friendly. Both the interior and staffs were giving a vibe just like cafes in Bali. The music plays good enough as a background, and even it's full of people, it didn't sound annoyingly noisy. Definitely not a one time visit coffee shop. It's great for hanging out with friends and chit-chat. They don't have meals in their menu and very few savoury food. The croissants are great though, worth a try. all the wait is paid beautifully with their latte. The perfect blend and while other ice latte need to finish quickly before the ice melt, this won't happen with Giyanti. They put the correct amount of ice so when the ice melt you still have the great taste of cold latte. The closing and opening time are too late and early (it opens around 10 am and it will be closed around 5.30pm).
