We found the perfect spot to relax, The Memorial Park. This peaceful and historic space serves as both a place of reflection and a scenic gathering spot. Located along the Providence River, near the intersection of South Main Street and Memorial Boulevard, it’s part of a larger network of parks in downtown Providence. Memorial Park is known for its various war memorials that honor Rhode Islanders who served in different conflicts. Among the most prominent are the World War I Memorial, World War II Memorial, and the Holocaust Memorial. In addition to these monuments, the park features public art and sculptures, enhancing its serene and reflective atmosphere. With its well-manicured lawns, trees, and benches, Memorial Park provides a calming environment, perfect for sitting, relaxing, and enjoying the surroundings. Its location along the river offers beautiful views of the water and the cityscape. The park is part of a scenic area connected to other parks and walking paths, making it popular for leisurely strolls or quiet moments of reflection. We truly enjoyed our time at Memorial Park, finding it a peaceful and meaningful experience in the heart of downtown.

#usatravel #rhodeisland #100WaysOfTravel After spending the afternoon exploring the beautiful mansions of Newport, we had a couple of hours to get some exercise by walking along the Cliff Walk—a world-famous public trail that offers a stunning blend of natural beauty and historic grandeur. Stretching 3.5 miles along the rugged coastline. The Cliff Walk provides spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the opulent Gilded Age mansions on the other. Moreover, it’s free to access, open year-round, and offers a fantastic way to explore Newport’s scenic coastline. The trail presents breathtaking views of the Atlantic, with crashing waves, rocky cliffs, and coastal wildlife. As you walk, you’ll encounter sweeping ocean vistas, lush vegetation, and scenic overlooks where you can stop and admire the surroundings. On the inland side, you’ll spot many of Newport’s most famous Gilded Age mansions, including The Breakers, Marble House, Rosecliff, and Château-sur-Mer—grand estates built by some of America’s wealthiest families during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. We enjoyed our time on this beautiful trail so much that we didn’t want it to end. It was truly a remarkable experience. We highly recommend this path to anyone traveling to Newport.

In our opinion, it is one of the most incredible places in America, rich in history and blessed with beautiful landscapes. We recently had the chance to visit The Breakers, one of the most famous and opulent Gilded Age mansions in the United States. Built between 1893 and 1895, it was commissioned by Cornelius Vanderbilt II, a prominent member of the wealthy Vanderbilt family. The mansion was designed by the renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt, with interiors crafted by Jules Allard and Sons and Ogden Codman Jr. The mansion is an exquisite example of Italian Renaissance architecture, heavily inspired by European palaces, particularly those from 16th-century Italy. Spanning 70 rooms and covering approximately 125,000 square feet, The Breakers features grand halls, luxurious bedrooms, an elegant dining room, a music room, and much more. Lavish materials such as marble, limestone, and gilded elements were used throughout, giving the mansion an unreal beauty and an air of incredible luxury. The estate sits on 13 acres with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Its meticulously maintained gardens, sculptures, and terraces further elevate the mansion’s grandeur. We spent hours exploring the grounds, thoroughly impressed by the impeccable maintenance and preservation efforts that have kept this place in such remarkable condition. We can confidently say that the Breakers is a must-see for visitors interested in history, architecture, and the extravagant lifestyles of America’s wealthiest families during the Gilded Age.

The Marble House is another stunning Gilded Age mansion, renowned for its opulence and architectural grandeur. Like The Breakers, Marble House was built for a member of the Vanderbilt family and is now part of the Newport Mansions. Commissioned by William K. Vanderbilt, grandson of shipping and railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt, the house was built as a summer home for his wife, Alva Vanderbilt. Constructed between 1888 and 1892, it cost approximately $11 million at the time, with $7 million spent on marble alone. Richard Morris Hunt, who also designed The Breakers, was the architect behind this masterpiece, which is considered one of his finest works. The mansion is designed in the Beaux-Arts style, with strong classical influences drawn from French châteaux and palaces. True to its name, Marble House features 500,000 cubic feet of marble, especially in its interior. This extensive use of marble creates an atmosphere of grandeur and timeless beauty. Inside, visitors can explore lavish rooms, such as the Grand Salon, Dining Room, and Gothic Room, all showcasing intricate details, rich gilding, and luxurious tapestries. One of the unique features of Marble House is the Chinese Tea House, situated on the back lawn with a view of the ocean. Today, Marble House is open to the public as part of the Newport Mansions, managed by the Preservation Society of Newport County. Visitors can tour its grand interiors and beautiful grounds, which provide a glimpse into the extravagant lifestyle of the Gilded Age, with its emphasis on elegance, art, and architectural magnificence.

This was a fantastic dining experience at Bestia. There is Valet parking. We were booked for a little after 7pm but arrived half an hour early. The good thing is while you wait you can order drinks at the bar. The place is kind of tight. I mean it fills up quickly. The service was quick and our waitress gave us some excellent recommendations. The bone marrow pasta was really good. Actually, everything we tried was impressive. The rib eye was delicious. The drink choices were unlimited, and everything was cooked for perfection. The pork was well seasoned and piping hot. The pizza was seasoned just right with a great amount of sauce. #usatravel #florida During our trip to Key West, Florida, we discovered a breathtaking highway that runs alongside the ocean, offering stunning views in both directions. The scenery was so unforgettable that it left a lasting impression on us. We stopped at Bahia Honda Key, a beautiful island located in the lower Florida Keys, known for its stunning beaches, clear waters, and abundant wildlife. The island is part of Bahia Honda State Park, one of the most popular and beautiful parks in the Florida Keys. As we explored the beach, we were captivated by one of the iconic sights at Bahia Honda—the old Bahia Honda Railroad Bridge. This historic bridge, once part of Henry Flagler’s Overseas Railroad, now stands as a monument to the past. Although it is no longer in use, it offers a unique backdrop for photographs. The combination of the abandoned bridge and the blue ocean in the background created an incredible view that we couldn't take our eyes off. For anyone visiting Key West, we highly recommend making a stop at this remarkable spot.

Among them is the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge, which spans 449 feet (137 meters), making it the longest wooden covered bridge in the United States and the longest two-span covered bridge in the world. This historic bridge connects Cornish, New Hampshire, and Windsor, Vermont, across the Connecticut River. Built in 1866, the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge has become one of New England's cherished landmarks in both New Hampshire and Vermont. The Bridge is still in use today. It is also a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors interested in its history and beautiful setting.

#usatravel #cruise If we could choose only one vacation to go on, it would be a cruise, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line offers one of the most fantastic cruise experiences in the world. We had the chance to step aboard and enjoy our vacation on the Harmony of the Seas, part of Royal Caribbean International's fleet. It is one of the largest and most innovative cruise ships in the world, with a gross tonnage of 226,963 GT and the capacity to accommodate around 5,479 guests. We were truly surprised by the sheer size of the ship. Even after seeing it with our own eyes, we still couldn't believe it. The cruise features Central Park at the center of the ship, an outdoor space with over 10,000 plants and trees. There are numerous restaurants and bars where guests can enjoy delicious meals throughout the day and night. The shows and performances across the theaters and stages were fantastic, and the spa and fitness center were available for guests who needed them. We had a lot of fun at the pool on the top floor, and the water slide is a must-try. There are sports courts where you can play mini-golf, table tennis, and more. Make sure to try the zip line, rock climbing walls, FlowRider surf simulators, and the Ultimate Abyss slide, which are the highlights of the activities on the ship. For those who love casinos, there is one on the ship as well. We enjoyed the night with cocktails from the Robot Bar, which was very cool, and another night at the Sky Bar, which is an elevated floor that slowly moved up and down about 5 floors. We found a jacuzzi spot around the top floor of the ship, which was a great place to hang out with cold drinks and relax. In our opinion, this cruise ship has everything you need for a dream vacation: stunning views from one of the largest ships in the world, delicious food and drinks while traveling across the ocean, and every form of entertainment you could want. We had a wonderful time on the Harmony of the Seas and are already looking forward to our next cruise vacation.

I bought a buy-one-get-one-free ticket for Universal Studios before departure, allowing us to enjoy two full days there. There weren't too many people on the day, so the wait times for rides were not too long, with the longest being only 35 minutes, and some rides only took 5 minutes to get on. We even rode many of them multiple times. The Mummy, Jurassic Park, and Harry Potter rides are must-tries 😆 Some rides made us quite dizzy 😅 You can queue as a single rider for The Mummy and Harry Potter rides, allowing you to ride them multiple times consecutively. They are incredibly thrilling and fun. The Studio Tour takes about an hour and showcases various filming locations, definitely worth setting aside time for. Additionally, the Waterworld show is a must-see, lasting about 45 minutes with three showtimes daily. Don't forget to catch it.

In our opinion, the Maid of the Mist is undeniably one of the best ways to fully enjoy Niagara Falls. The Maid of the Mist is a famous boat tour that operates at Niagara Falls, offering visitors an up-close and thrilling view of this iconic natural wonder. We recommend booking tickets online in advance. The boat departs from the dock at Niagara Falls State Park, where you can also enjoy views of the falls from the high ground. The boat passes the American Falls and ventures into the basin of the Horseshoe Falls, the largest of the three falls that make up Niagara Falls. We were incredibly excited about the experience. The boat brings you close enough to the falls to feel the mist and hear the thunderous roar of the water. Ponchos are provided to help keep guests dry, but the mist from the gigantic waterfalls still hits your face. However, it's refreshing amid the hot temperatures during the summer when we visited. As a result, the Maid of the Mist tour is an essential part of any visit to Niagara Falls, providing an unforgettable experience and a close encounter with the power and beauty of the falls.

It's Fiedler Field, located on the Esplanade along the Charles River, near the center of Downtown Boston. Named after Arthur Fiedler, the long-time conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra, this field commemorates his significant influence on the Boston music scene. Fiedler Field offers a stunning view of the Charles River, the Boston skyline, and the various activities on the river, such as rowing and sailing. With a nice coffee or tea and some sandwiches, people can picnic, relax, or enjoy various outdoor activities at this wonderful spot. This location also frequently hosts concerts, performances, and other cultural events, contributing to Boston's vibrant community life. We walked around, enjoying the atmosphere of the lush park and the cool, refreshing waters of the Charles River, which made us feel so calm during the few hours we spent there. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Boston; it offers a truly beautiful view and vibe.

We had been dreaming about this opportunity since we were kids, and we finally made it to this dream destination. The Walt Disney World Resort is the largest and most visited recreational resort in the world, located in Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, near Orlando. There are 4 theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, as well as 2 water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. The resort boasts over 25 themed hotels, ranging from budget-friendly options to luxurious accommodations. Popular choices include Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Complimentary transportation, including buses, monorails, and boats, is available within the resort to move guests between parks, hotels, and other locations. The entire area is so vast that you cannot explore every attraction in one day. In fact, it would take you more than a week to experience every single attraction and show. We spent four days there and found that it was not enough. We had such an unforgettable experience everywhere we went. Walt Disney World Resort is a place where the magic of Disney comes to life, offering a variety of experiences for all ages. Whether you're visiting for the first time or the hundredth, there's always something new to discover. #usatravel #massachusetts We discovered the beauty of this park, which no one should miss. The Boston Public Garden is a renowned and historic park in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1837, it is the first public botanical garden in America. The park covers approximately 24 acres, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy their time in this beautiful space. Over the years, various enhancements have been made, including the addition of the famous Swan Boats in 1877. These boats operate in the Lagoon, where ducks and swans can also be seen. #usatravel #newyork We followed John Wick to Bethesda Terrace, one of the most iconic and beautiful landmarks in Central Park, New York City. Located at the end of the Mall, the grand promenade in the center of the park, Bethesda Terrace offers stunning architectural features and serves as a gathering place for visitors. Bethesda Terrace was designed by Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted, the same team behind the overall design of Central Park. The terrace consists of two levels connected by grand staircases. The upper level provides a scenic overlook, while the lower level leads directly to Bethesda Fountain. At the center of the lower level is the Angel of the Waters statue, designed by sculptor Emma Stebbins. The statue represents purity and the healing power of water. The overall atmosphere was incredibly lively and vibrant. People come to this spot to enjoy the beauty of the architecture and the serene environment, enhanced by the greenery of the trees in Central Park, which is often referred to as the 'lungs of the city' or the 'green lung of Manhattan'. We had a wonderful time at Central Park and look forward to visiting again the next time we are in New York.

#usatravel #newyork We had the chance to visit a truly unique, peaceful, and stunning state park—one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to in the United States. Watkins Glen State Park, located at the southern tip of Seneca Lake, is renowned for its breathtaking gorge and waterfalls. We explored the park's trail, which descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls along its course. The trail allows visitors to walk over and under waterfalls, through tunnels, and across stone bridges, which we found very enjoyable as we walked slowly and soaked in the atmosphere of the park. We only had a few hours to spend at the park, so we couldn’t explore the whole area. We decided to finish our trip at Rainbow Falls, one of the park's most iconic sights. It was truly worth every second we spent walking from the entrance to that spot. The stunning view of the waterfalls with a stone bridge in the background is one of the most beautiful sights we've ever seen. We already miss the moment when we stood there and enjoyed that incredible view.
