[Thailand] Eating out in Bangkok
#overseastraveltrip
There's a lot of delicious food in Bangkok!
You can smell the delicious aromas as you walk around the city. This time, I'll summarize what I ate while walking around Bangkok.
・Bubble tea
It was a shop called Fukurou, which had Japanese writing on it. It was very reasonable at 24 baht a cup.
・Beef noodles
I ordered this at a shop I happened to pass by. It had a herbal aroma and was very delicious.
I also ate a lot of food at food stalls and other food stalls.
・Big flat noodles with gravy sauce
・Pork rib rice
・Pork meat (pork skewers)
Please enjoy the delicious Thai food. #Thailand #Bangkok
[Thailand] A very popular mango sweets shop
#overseastraveltrip
Mango Tango is a cafe you should definitely visit when you go to Bangkok, Thailand.
Sweets made with mango are very popular!
We enjoyed some delicious mango treats in a stylish restaurant.
The featured menu, the Mango Tango Plate, comes with mango, mango pudding, and mango ice cream.
They also have a wide variety of other menu items, including mango parfaits and mango drinks.
It's close to the station and in a great location, so it's highly recommended for sightseeing in Bangkok. #ThailandTrip #Bangkok
Character Hunt at the Temple?
Wat Pariwat, located about 30 minutes by car from central Bangkok, is an interesting spot where you can find various characters scattered around what appears to be an ordinary temple. There is no entrance fee.
It's hard to imagine something like this being created in a temple in Japan, lol.
I visited in the morning during the dry season in December, and there were no other tourists besides me. Local people were praying in what seemed to be the main hall.
Why not visit and try finding the characters yourself?
Beautiful Temples in Bangkok, Thailand
Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) is one of Thailand's most important temples, established in 1782 by King Rama I.
Known as the royal temple, it houses a Buddha statue that shines with emerald brilliance in the main hall.
The vast grounds feature a golden stupa and corridors adorned with beautiful murals, captivating visitors.
Wat Phra Kaew is located in the heart of Bangkok and is a popular tourist attraction along with the Grand Palace.
The entrance fee is 500 baht, and there is a strict dress code, prohibiting even men from wearing shorts.

I have stayed in countless hotels. This hotel is one of the best when it comes to breakfast!
Breakfast is a choice of four different dishes, all stylish and elaborate.🍳
I ordered the pancakes, which were gorgeous and topped with lots of fruit. The pancakes themselves are authentic and very tasty. 🥞
The rooms are impressive with unique and stylish design interiors; they are quite spacious for two people and the beds are comfortable.
The bathroom is spacious, with a large bathtub and a nice lighted mirror🛁

Increase your fortune!? Bangkok's three major temples "Wat Phra Kaew"
📍Wat Phra Kaew
Wat Phra Kaew is known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha because it enshrines the jade Emerald Buddha in the main hall.
The golden pagoda on the premises is said to house the Buddha's remains.
Wat Phra Kaew was built as a guardian temple for the royal family, and decorated with gold leaf and colored glass mosaics, it is the most beautiful and glittering temple in Thailand.
It is said that if you chant a spell to the Emerald Buddha and pray with strong conviction, your fortune will improve.

Wat Pho, the headquarters of massage in Bangkok.
📍🇹🇭Wat Pho, Bangkok, Thailand | Wat Pho Bangkok
Wat Pho in Bangkok is famous for its giant reclining Buddha.
Its size is astonishing, with a length of 46 meters and a height of 15 meters!!
It is also the headquarters of traditional Thai massage.
Inside the temple, there are many statues depicting massage movements,
making it different and interesting compared to other temples.
Personally, I find the mosaic walls of the buildings incredibly beautiful.
The mosaics glittering in the sunset are truly breathtaking!
In the evening, there are fewer people, it's cooler, and strolling around is very pleasant.
[Bangkok] Chocolate Cosmo! Stylish chocolate at PARADAi 🍫
I have a recommended chocolate shop in Bangkok, so I'd like to introduce it to you 🫡
《PARADAi》
The chocolate here is like a cosmo (asteroid) 🪐
There are many colorful and delicate chocolates lined up.
You can take it home or eat it in ♪
The chocolate drinks are also popular, but the sweet x sweet combination was a bit off, so I decided to drink coffee ☕
The takeaway bonbon box was

15 pieces: 1080 baht

There was also a unique chocolate called "Tom Yum"... 🥘 I didn't try it, but if you have tried it, please let me know what you thought 😆
They also sold not only bonbon chocolates, but also tablets.
They also had samples 🤤

[Bangkok] Boats and swings! A photogenic cafe ☕
Introducing a photogenic cafe on the outskirts of Bangkok that is popular with both Thais and tourists♪
《After the Rain Coffee & Gallery》
A cafe in Nakhon Pathom☕
It's a cafe, but it has boats and swings🚣
Thailand has a lot of interesting cafes♪
I thought the boat was just for photos, but it's actually a pond that goes all the way around, so you can row around it😸
But there are no rails or anything, and you have to row hard to move forward and turn😅lol
(It doesn't move automatically like in Japanese amusement parks💦)
It was hot and quite hard to go around and come back! lol
There are boats for photos, so if you don't want to row a boat, that's fine too🤔
There's no boat fee, just food and drink.

I'd like to introduce some cafes in Bangkok that I personally recommend 😸
《NICOLO BAKERY》
What's good about it is that the sweets lined up in the store are cute ❤️ I can't decide which one to get 🤔
Also, the Christmas season decorations are cute 🎄🎅
This shop is famous for its tiramisu, but they also have a menu called "Browni-tisu" that combines tiramisu and brownies, so I ordered that too 🥄 185 baht
I'm happy to be able to eat brownies and tiramisu together 😍
(But I wanted to eat a lot of tiramisu, so I might have been fine with just regular tiramisu. lol)
The shop is small, with less than 15 seats.
I went there at 1pm on a Saturday, but it wasn't very crowded and I was able to get a seat easily ♪ However, there were a lot of customers after lunch, so by around 2pm it was full and people were coming and going, including people who were getting takeout!
So it might be best to go before tea time 🤔

[TG] Bangkok → Fukuoka Economy Class✈️
Return to Japan on a safe direct flight to Thailand 🛬
Airline: Thai Airways International
Flight/Route: TG648 BKK→FUK
Aircraft: A330-300 / HS-TEO
Seat: Economy Class
Thai Airways International is Thailand's national flag carrier and a Star Alliance member 🇹🇭
The flight to Fukuoka took about 5 hours and 10 minutes.
Unusually for Bangkok, we were taken to the aircraft by bus before boarding.
The economy seating arrangement was 2-4-2, and there were few passengers around the last row I specified, so it was quite spacious 👍
I was glad to be able to rest a little.
I requested a special Hindu meal on this flight, so a light meal was served first after takeoff, and then breakfast was served about 2 hours before landing.
The former was a marinated vegetable sandwich, which was quite delicious and I ate it all up even though it was late at night 😋
The breakfast, on the other hand, was a full-on curry for breakfast, which I personally didn't like 💦
Due to a delay in departure due to runway congestion, we arrived in Fukuoka about 30 minutes late, but it would be great if we could arrive safely ✨
Make sure to check out the fairy tale-style safety video 🧚

This time we departed from the newly built satellite terminal!
So I would like to report on the "Miracle Lounge"
located in the satellite terminal 🫡
When you arrive at the satellite terminal, take the escalator up and you will see it.

The menu is pretty much the same, but the good thing about the Miracle Lounge is that it has a live kitchen 💓
They made me Khao Man Gai 🍽️
I also served myself some green curry from the buffet zone and had some sparkling wine.
There is a wide selection of Thai beers such as Singha, Shan, and Leo, whiskey, wine, and of course soft drinks 🙆
There is also a wide selection of desserts, fruits, and ice cream!
The seats were spacious and there was a desk with an outlet, so I was able to work leisurely until boarding time ☺️

The Majestic Giant Elephant is a Must-See!! [Thailand Travel]
The Erawan Museum, located in the suburbs of Bangkok, is a unique museum marked by the gigantic three-headed elephant statue, the Erawan. The impact of this elephant is incredible!
Standing at about 50 meters tall, it is easily recognizable from a distance. Inside this elephant, there are actually three floors, each with its own unique atmosphere.
● Ground Floor at the Elephant's Feet
The first floor you enter is the ground floor. This area showcases traditional Thai art and crafts, offering a glimpse into the culture and history of Thailand. The walls and ceiling are adorned with vibrant decorations, and the stained glass ceiling, in particular, sparkles beautifully in the light. Just being here gives you a slightly mystical feeling.
● Climbing the Stairs Inside the Elephant to the Celestial Room 🐘
The main event is climbing the stairs inside the elephant! Ascend the narrow spiral staircase to reach the top floor. This room is themed around the "universe," creating a fantastical space with Buddha statues and ceiling paintings. It's recommended to sit and soak in the atmosphere here. It feels mystical, almost like you've stepped into another world.
● The Elephant's Back, the Top Floor
The top floor features Buddha statues and religious art, located on the elephant's back. This is a quiet and calming space. Despite being a tourist spot, it's surprisingly peaceful and a great place to relax.
● Beautiful Garden 🌱🐘🌸
Surrounding the museum is a beautiful garden, perfect for a stroll. Full of greenery, it serves as a nice relaxation spot.
The Erawan Museum, with its unique elephant exterior, beautiful interior, and serene garden, is an unforgettable and mysterious place to visit. It's not just a tourist spot but also a perfect place to calm your mind!
Thank you for reading until the end.

Experience the Exotic Charm of Bangkok
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a great destination for first-time international travelers due to its well-developed transportation system. The city is covered by both the subway and the Skytrain, making it easy to get around. For travel from the stations, you can use either a tuk-tuk or a ride-hailing app called Grab. When using a tuk-tuk, it's essential to negotiate the fare beforehand to avoid being overcharged. On the other hand, Grab displays the fare upfront, so there's no risk of being scammed, and it's generally cheaper than a tuk-tuk, making it a good option for those looking to save on transportation costs. One of the recommended activities in Bangkok is a nighttime cruise on the Chao Phraya River, where you can enjoy the illuminated Wat Arun. Additionally, Khao San Road is lined with numerous street food stalls and shops, offering a fun and lively evening experience.

Especially during the Lunar New Year and various Chinese festivals, grand ceremonies and events are held, making the temple lively.
