I made a sudden dinner appointment with my college junior classmates, and casually said I wanted to eat ramen. After several discussions, I chose to try Longlin Ramen in Zhongshan District. The store is located 3-5 minutes' walk from Exit 5 of the MRT station, and the transportation location is very convenient. Because they can only queue up, I could see the queue from a distance when I walked in the alley. I was the first one to arrive so I queued up and waited for others. As a result, I happened to meet several groups who had finished their meals. It was my turn to go in all of a sudden, but because we were not all there, I had to let others go in first and queue up again 😭. Friends who are going to go should pay attention to this part~
As soon as we entered, the waiter asked us to sit next to them and wait for the group in front of us to finish ordering. They use the popular self-service ordering machine. The three of us ordered Yundan chicken white soup noodles, pork bone meat ramen, barbecued pork rice, angel red shrimp and fried karaage. When ordering ramen, you can choose soft/hard, add some ingredients, and whether to add onions and garlic. At the same time, their soup and noodles can be refilled for free, which is very good 👍🏻
The taste of the whole ramen is relatively strong. It feels just right at the beginning, but it will become salty after the noodles and meat absorb more soup. At this time, if you ask the waiter to add soup, he will bring a base soup that is considered clear soup. After mixing, the taste is just right. It is recommended that everyone ask the waiter to add soup; the angel red shrimps are fresh, and the heads have been removed and filled with salmon roe when they are served. The fried karaage is of normal standard. What surprised us the most was the barbecued pork rice. Originally, we thought that after eating the heavier ramen, we would feel full and greasy, but we were amazed after one bite. The ratio of sauce and barbecued pork is very good, not greasy at all and you won’t feel unable to eat it. Even after eating it, I still felt unsatisfied and wanted to order another bowl. I highly recommend it and you must try it!
Overall, the service, environment, and food are very good. Just for the bowl of barbecued pork rice, it is worth going to try it if you have the chance.
