We did have to wait in line for a while, and the line got even longer within the first 30 minutes of opening. Happy we got in as were like the 5th in line🥳 🥇Hialed and Awarded as 2023’s BEST BAR IN THE WORLD AND BEST BAR IN EUROPE Also known as The Best Cocktail Bar in the World🏆 🍾The interior of SIPS was nothing short of a simple yet inviting bar, but one thing you will notice here is that there is no physical barrier or that long bar table, that is usually between the bartender and the customers, this creates a rather more homey vibe where one can socialize even with the bartenders themselves. We had their Bergamot Negroni— quite a special one, as it is served with “unmelting” ice, we had their Gin infused Shakerato, their Frida Kahlo Tequila, Vodka Mil Fulls and their Mosaic. My favorite was the Bergamot Negroni👍 🍹The bartenders were really very creative and made sure they made and presented the cocktails with precision, friendly people too. 🤭As we left people still kept coming in and the place, was really busy. What I love about exploring places and just getting lost and wandering about. Here we stumbled upon little alleys in Barcelona and we happen to discover a nice cafe, an interesting museum and a small church in a little square. Walking on cobblestone roads really pulled us back in time and as we witnessed historical buildings and structures, we saw how well kept they were. We stumbled upon little squares surrounded by cafes, hotels, restaurants and shops. We also noticed local people gather in the squares and cafes, enjoying meals and chats. It was a really nice atmosphere, not too crowded but not deserted as well. Views from between buildings and streets were also a nice sight. Located in a strategic point of the city, during the Visigothic period, Eurico conquers the city and Leovigildo establishes therein the capital, leaving modifications and adaptations in the building, considered and originally conceived as a large fortress. During the reigns of Alfonso VI and Alfonso X The Wise, it is rebuilt, giving rise to the first alcázar of square floor with towers at the corners, and a main facade in three sections. In the 16th century Carlos V and Felipe II ordered to erect the Alcázar as such. Fun Fact: The Alcazar is Rumored to be a meeting place for witches and A symbol of the occult in Toledo. Splendid Seville 🇪🇸 Our last day in Seville was a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. The lively atmosphere was contagious, with street performers adding to the city's vibrant energy. We paused for a leisurely lunch at a local tapas bar, savoring dishes like crispy fried fish and rich, savory paella, paired with a glass of refreshing sangria. Afterward, we strolled to the stunning Plaza de España, marveling at its intricate tile work and the picturesque fountain. 🇪🇸Splendid Seville🇪🇸 Visiting the Archivo General de Indias, in English -The General Archive of the Indies, this was built during the reign of Philip II, this building was designed by Juan de Herrera to be used as the Lonja de Mercaderes. It was completed in 1646, under the direction of several prestigious architects such as Juan de Minjares, Alonso de Vandelvira and Miguel de Zumárraga. Later it was converted into the General Archive of the Indies and thus provided a central location for all the documents relating to Spanish overseas possessions between the 15th and 19th centuries.
