🇫🇷 Louvre Museum - A must visit in Paris
#europetrip
It’s on our bucket list to visit Louvre Museum at least once in our life time! It was a very enjoyable visit to this marvelous art museum! It would be the best to purchase tickets in advance and when you arrive make sure you find the correct queue you belong to. I got my tickets on trip.com and the redemption was fuss-free! Spending a few hours here was never enough to cover the whole collection as there is just so much to see and admire!

Louvre Museum
The Louvre Museum is incredibly vast as it was once a royal palace. It consists of three wings, each housing numerous highlights worth seeing, such as the famous Mona Lisa painting, the Venus statue, and the statue of the goddess Nike, known as The Winged Victory of Samothrace. There are many more exquisite pieces to admire. Upon entering, it is recommended to head to the Denon wing first, where you will encounter the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the goddess of victory, in room number 6, which is the room displaying the Mona Lisa. Behind the Mona Lisa, you will find The Wedding Feast at Cana, another renowned painting in the museum by Paolo Veronese. Continue exploring the numerous famous paintings that pique your interest. It is said that even a month would not be enough to fully appreciate all the details.
The MET x The Louvre, what’s more enjoyable than that! 🇫🇷

The Met au Louvre - Near Eastern Antiquities in Dialogue. The Museum at the Museum!🤩
Representing Central Asia, Syria, Iran and Mesopotamia, this dialogue between collections and works of art will (re)introduce visitors to these extraordinary, age-old artefacts and the stories they tell. The Louvre and The Met have created a unique dialogue between these two collections, which will be displayed in the Louvre’s permanent galleries.
The exhibition is available from February 2024 to September 2025. A must-not-miss for museum and art lovers!

Just spent an unforgettable day in Paris, and I can’t get over how magical it was! 🌟 My first stop was the iconic Eiffel Tower, where I paid €19 to take the elevator all the way to the top. The panoramic views of the city were absolutely worth it—seeing Paris from above is something everyone should experience! 🗼 Afterward, I strolled along the Seine River, passing by charming bookstalls and talented street performers, which really added to the city's romantic vibe.
Lunch was at a cute little café near the Notre-Dame Cathedral (which, by the way, is as breathtaking in person as it is in photos). I tried a classic French croissant and café au lait, and it was heavenly. 🥐☕ In the afternoon, I visited the Louvre Museum, with its incredible art collection. The entrance fee was €17, and getting to see the Mona Lisa up close was surreal! 🎨
I finished the day in Montmartre, exploring its narrow streets and visiting the beautiful Sacré-Cœur Basilica. The view from the top of the hill is stunning, especially as the sun sets over the city. 🌅 Paris truly lives up to its reputation—every corner feels like a scene from a movie. Already planning my next trip back! #trip #Paris #EiffelTower #LouvreMuseum #Montmartre #CityofLights

If you go to Paris, France-! You will definitely visit the ‘Louvre Museum’, one of the three major art museums! From the entrance, it feels like you are entering a palace in the city!
When you enter, the Louvre Museum’s representative tyranny statue welcomes you. Take a picture by posing as if you are holding the statue in your hand from afar!
Also, even if you do not enter the museum, the park is so pretty that I recommend having a picnic or taking a walk in the park!

This is my second time visiting Paris, the first being with a tour company. Due to limited time, I couldn’t fully immerse myself in the charm of this captivating city. Travel Tips for Budgeting:
1. Accommodation: You don’t need to stay in the city center. We stayed in the 15th arrondissement at the Ibis Styles Paris Meteor Avenue D'italie
2. Transportation: The city’s transportation system is excellent, with easy access to buses, RER, and Metro. Taxis aren’t necessary, but be cautious of pickpockets.
3. Food: To save money, eat at fast food places like KFC, McDonald’s, and Burger King.

Amazing museum 🇫🇷
#paristrip
This summer, I finally visited the Louvre Museum in Paris, and it was a dream come true! 🎨🏛️ Located at Rue de Rivoli, the entrance fee is 17 euros if you book online, and it's worth every cent.
The sheer size of the Louvre is mind-blowing; it’s impossible to see everything in one day. I started my visit with the iconic glass pyramid entrance, which was an experience in itself. Once inside, I made a beeline for the Mona Lisa. Despite the crowds, seeing Da Vinci's masterpiece up close was incredible.
I also loved the vast collection of Egyptian artifacts, particularly the Rosetta Stone. The museum’s layout can be a bit overwhelming, so I recommend picking a few key sections to focus on. I spent hours wandering through the Greek and Roman antiquities, admiring the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace.
After the museum, I strolled through the beautiful Tuileries Garden just next door. For lunch, I grabbed a baguette sandwich from a nearby café and enjoyed it by the fountains. The museum is also conveniently close to the Seine, so a walk along the river was a perfect way to end the day.
Visiting the Louvre was the highlight of my trip to Paris. The art, history, and atmosphere make it a must-see for anyone visiting the city. #LouvreMuseum #ParisArt #SummerInParis #MonaLisa #TravelFrance
A Day at the Louvre Museum: Art, History, and Wonder
#europetrip
The Louvre Museum in Paris is not just an iconic cultural institution; it's a sprawling palace of art that captures the essence of human creativity and history. As the world's largest and most visited art museum, the Louvre offers a comprehensive look at thousands of years of civilization through masterpieces that span continents and epochs.
Architectural Majesty
The Louvre itself is a historical monument, its origins dating back to the medieval period. The modern visitor enters through the Louvre Pyramid, a piece of art in itself, designed by architect I.M. Pei in the 1980s. This glass pyramid contrasts with the classic French Renaissance style of the main palace, creating a unique fusion of old and new that characterizes the entire museum.
Planning Your Visit
The Louvre is vast, and seeing it all in one visit is a challenge. Highlights tours can help you cover the main attractions, but if you have time, return visits are rewarding. Maps and visitor guides are available in multiple languages, helping navigate the museum's extensive wings and collections. Audio guides are also an excellent investment for deeper insights into the history and significance of the museum's key pieces.
Visitor Tips
- Timing: Arrive early to avoid crowds, especially if you plan to see popular works like the Mona Lisa.
- Tickets: Purchase tickets online in advance to skip long entry lines.
- Breaks: Take breaks in the museum's cafes and seating areas to rest and reflect on the incredible art.
- Dress Comfortably: Wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking involved.
A visit to the Louvre Museum is an unforgettable experience that offers insights not only into the arts but into the history and culture of our world. Whether you're an art aficionado or a casual tourist, the Louvre is a must-visit, promising awe-inspiring art and a deep, enriching experience.

Early bird catches the worm
Visit the Louvre Museum early in the morning to capture a nice photo without the crazy crowd. You can rest and watch the beautiful architecture around the area and visit the gardens for the cooling morning walk. Have. coffee and breakfast at the nearby cafes and come back when the museum opens. Be sure to go underground for a shorter queue to enter and enjoy the museum. #louvremuseum #paris
Lunch at iconic Le Café Marly
Our lunch experience at Le Cafe Marly in the Louvre Museum was simply fantastic. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere exuded an incredible energy and positive vibe that added to the overall charm of the place. The combination of exquisite cuisine and the breathtaking view of the Louvre's iconic pyramid made it an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu offerings were a delightful fusion of French classics and modern culinary artistry, catering to a wide range of palates. Each dish was a masterpiece in itself, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. The attentive and friendly staff further elevated our dining experience, making us feel truly welcomed.
In the midst of the museum's historical treasures, Le Cafe Marly provided a moment of culinary delight and cultural immersion that we'll cherish forever. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking both great food and a unique ambiance in the heart of Paris.

Once-in-a-lifetime Louvre experience
We were in Paris on holiday. We got to experience the Louvre Museum and I would say that it’s the best museum I’ve ever been to. The collection was massive yet everything was organised. Of course it’s a popular Parisian attraction thus it was crowded with people however the attraction itself was still worthwhile. I got to see the famous Venus de Milo as well as the most famous painting in the world — Mona Lisa. #paris #louvre #louvremuseum #Themonalisa

A day trip to paris
My recent trip to Paris was nothing short of magical! The city’s charm and convenience made exploring its iconic landmarks an absolute delight. Most of the must-visit spots are situated in Zone 1, which made it easy to navigate and experience the best of Paris.
During my stay, I had the pleasure of visiting the world-renowned Eiffel Tower, standing tall as a symbol of romance and architectural brilliance. The Louvre Museum, with its stunning art collections, was mesmerizing. I also indulged in some retail therapy at Galeries Lafayette, a haven for shoppers with its luxurious brands and breathtaking rooftop views.

Nighttime Photography at the Louvre Museum: Capturing Parisian Elegance
Photographing the Louvre Museum at night is an experience that every photography enthusiast should have. As darkness falls over Paris, the iconic Louvre transforms into a breathtaking spectacle of light and shadows, offering an entirely different charm than its daytime counterpart.
Stunning Architectural Backdrop
The Louvre's majestic structure, with its timeless façade and the famous glass pyramid, becomes even more striking at night when illuminated against the night sky. The contrast between the warm interior lights and the cool exterior lighting provides a dramatic effect that is perfect for photography. This creates a captivating scene that highlights the intricate architectural details and grandeur of the museum.
Ideal for Various Photography Styles
Whether you are into architectural photography, night photography, or simply looking for stunning landscapes for your portfolio, the Louvre at night offers it all. The reflective glass pyramid, in particular, is a favorite subject, offering endless creative possibilities to capture its geometric beauty and the way it juxtaposes with the classical architecture of the main building.
Tips for Night Photographers
- Equipment: Bring a tripod to stabilize your camera for long exposures, which are essential for capturing the fine details and preventing blurry photos in low light conditions.
- Settings: Experiment with different settings; longer exposures will help capture the beauty of the illuminated museum and the surrounding darkness.
- Angles: Try various angles to incorporate the surrounding environment, such as the courtyard's symmetrical design or the contrasting old and new architectural elements.
A Peaceful Atmosphere
Unlike the busy daytime hours, the nighttime offers a more serene environment, allowing you to take your time setting up shots without the hustle and bustle of the crowds. This peaceful atmosphere is perfect for photographers looking to focus on their craft and capture the essence of one of the world's most famous museums under the night sky.

🇫🇷 Louvre Museum - Need to visit once in your life!
#familytrips2024
Mona Lisa is the main attraction, but oh dear, there are so many great exhibitions. It was truly a magnificent experience, it's too big to even see it all. Do take note that it is closed on Tuesdays, so plan accordingly. Audio guides are available when you walk in. One day is just not enough to take in all of the beauty this museum has to offer. We were amazed by the art and the amazing sculptures inside the museum.

🇫🇷 Louvre Museum - A must visit in Paris!
#familytrips2024
It's worth the wait in the cold, windy weather. It's much well designed and organized. Starting from the outside - the building itself is a sight to see. Moving on to the inside - the building is just as impressive. The ceilings are a work of art itself. The corridors are very spacious and nice to walk through. We bought online tickets months before and still waited for over 30 mins to get in since mornings are packed. Would definitely want to visit again as spending half a day here could barely cover half of the exhibit!

What’s a visit to Paris without going to the stunning musée du Louvre?
As you already know, this museum is HUGE and unless you want to spend the entire day there, I suggest making two trips (I will be going back next time I’m in Paris).
For my first visit, I picked what I really wanted to see and made myself an itinerary. These are the three I really wanted to see:
Sully Wing:
The Venus De Milo By Alexandros Of Antioch (Room 344, Sully Wing, Level 0)
Denon Wing:
The Mona Lisa. She can be found in room 711 - Denon Wing)
The Raft Of The Medusa By Théodore Géricault ( Room 700, Denon Wing, Level 1)
Ticket: 17€. Book in advance!!!
Enjoy!

In Lourve with the art in Paris!
Spent my first day in Paris visiting the famous Lourve! If you decide to take an Uber, you still have to walk a little through the gardens/park area to this gem. I got my timed tickets about 3 weeks in advance, and the line for entry took about 5 minutes!
The museum itself is very vast, there’s so many exhibitions to see and you could easily spend half a day there. It’s not too crowded, you can still get around easily and snap photos with almost no one in your backgrounds - start with the higher floors!
There’s easily refreshments nearby the gift shop such as Starbucks for when you’re done exploring! #paris #louvremuseum #europe #museum #touristspots #art
