My First Boracay Experience (January 28–31, 2025)
Visiting Boracay for the first time was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I set foot on the island, I was greeted by its powdery white sand, crystal-clear waters, and a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere that made every moment feel like paradise.
Each day was filled with adventure and relaxation. Mornings were perfect for leisurely strolls along White Beach, where I marveled at the breathtaking sunrise and enjoyed the soft sand beneath my feet.
Sunsets in Boracay were truly magical. Watching the sky turn into shade of orange while lounging by the shore #travel #beachlife #boracay #trip #travel #beachlife was a surreal experience. Evenings were equally vibrant, with beachfront dining offering delicious seafood and the island’s famous nightlife adding a lively touch to my trip.
Beyond the scenery, what stood out the most was the warmth of the locals. Their hospitality and genuine smiles made me feel welcome, enhancing the overall experience. Whether it was trying local delicacies, meeting fellow travelers, or simply soaking in the island’s beauty, my first trip to Boracay was nothing short of amazing.
I left the island with sun-kissed skin, a heart full of memories, and a promise to return.
An unforgettable Boracay moment
Boracay is home to one of the world’s most famous sunsets, and there are so many ways to enjoy it. You can sail out on a boat, take a peaceful walk along the beach, relax at a beach club, or even get a massage by the water. I honestly didn’t realize just how beautiful it was until I saw it for myself. Don’t miss this experience when you’re here. #boracay #sunset
A Memorable Dinner at The Pig Out Bistro, Boracay
#celebrateit
During our recent trip to Boracay, my husband and I stumbled upon The Pig Out Bistro, and what a fantastic find it was! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly staff, who made sure everything was perfect for our dinner.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the crab sandwich – it was absolutely divine! The freshness of the crab, combined with the perfect balance of flavors, made it one of the best dishes we had on the island. If you're a seafood lover, this is a must-try.
But the surprises didn’t stop there! My husband had secretly arranged for a surprise cake to celebrate our special evening, and the staff brought it out with a big smile. The whole experience felt so personal and thoughtful, making it even more memorable.
The Pig Out Bistro isn’t just about great food – the atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back, perfect for a romantic dinner or a casual night out. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.
Why I recommend this place:
The crab sandwich is a must-try dish.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

Birthday Feast at The Pig Out Bistro🎂
#getgoing2025
During our Boracay getaway, my husband surprised me with a lovely dinner at The Pig Out Bistro to celebrate my upcoming birthday. We made a reservation ahead of time, which I highly recommend as it’s a popular spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the evening feel special with their warm hospitality.
The food? Absolutely fantastic! The Crab Burger was packed with fresh, flavorful crab meat, and the French Onion Soup was rich, cheesy, and comforting—perfect for a celebratory meal. Each dish was crafted with care, and it was clear why this bistro is a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere added to the experience, making it an unforgettable birthday dinner. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Boracay and looking for amazing food with great service.
Why I Recommend It:
Delicious, high-quality dishes like the Crab Burger and French Onion Soup.
Friendly and attentive staff who make special occasions even better.

#Boracay #Philippines
Boracay hits different when 2 hearts come together as one.
At first, we're hesitant to book through Trip.com. We check a lot of platforms, different websites and even try to negotiate with an agent to book our vacation but at the end, we put our trust to Trip.com and book everything through it. Everything went smooth and easy as for our 1st travel.
I will sort everything for those who want to go to Boracay with limited budget.
We got a good flight which is PAL and Cebu Pacific, book our hotel which is La Carmela de Boracay, it's actually a package (hotel + flight) 3D2N which cost us 11k total for 2 person (depends on the hotel). Trip.com will give you choices of hotels you want to stay in and the prices vary.
For the Airport-Hotel drop off, we book the package which includes the drop off and Island hopping for a day with a lunch buffet (2k each) we also give tips to our tour guide which was really hands on and super kind. We didn't have to go through the lines and payments. It was super easy. 2k was worth it.
Also, no need to worry about the breakfast because La Carmela de Boracay have their own breakfast buffet.
On our 1st day we spent it roaming around the place, Boracay is really beautiful. We find places we can eat, and something we can do. At night we went party, prices depends on you but for us we spent at least 2k for our dinner and drinks and we're good.
We spent our 2nd day for island hopping which includes lunch buffet, snorkeling, swimming, crystal kayak, a lot of pictures and also braided our hair. The tour guide pick us up to our hotel and arrange everything (that's the advantage of having a tour guide). After all the adventures, we take some rest to our hotel and swim to the hotel's swimming pool, eat some meryenda like the puto bumbong and bibingka, it was delicious. At night we celebrated 🫶🏻 It was wonderful. I recommend eating at MESA and ANDOKS.
For our 3rd day, we went to laundry shop for our clothes and buy some pasalubong before we go back home.
All I can say is WE DEFINITELY GOING BACK IN BORACAY 🥹❤️ It's such a lovely place to stay and relax. I LOVE IT THERE. #beachlife #couplestrip #myitinerary #travel #staycation #buffets #boracay
Puka Beach: A Hidden Gem in Boracay
#getgoing2025
During my trip to Boracay with my husband, we asked a local where the most beautiful beach on the island was, and they pointed us to Puka Beach.
It didn’t disappoint!!!!!
The water was an unbelievable shade of blue, and the beach was peaceful with far fewer people than the more popular White Beach.
We had the perfect, relaxing afternoon just soaking in the beauty and the calm atmosphere.
**Why I recommend it:**
- The crystal-clear blue water is absolutely stunning.
- The beach is quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing escape from the crowds.
📍Address: Puka Beach, Boracay Island, Aklan, Philippines
If you’re looking for a serene spot with jaw-dropping views, this is definitely the place to be!

Boracay’s quieter affordable cousin
Reflecting on my recent trip to Hinugtan Beach in Buruanga, Aklan, I'm reminded why I often choose this hidden gem over Boracay. While Boracay boasts its vibrant energy, Hinugtan offers a serene escape with its pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. The peacefulness and the feeling of having the beach almost entirely to myself (especially on weekdays) is simply unparalleled.
The quality of the sand rivals Boracay's, but with significantly fewer crowds, Hinugtan allows for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. It's a reminder that true paradise can be found in unexpected places.

Boracay is an island everyone should visit at least once!
#2024mapped
Boracay is the most memorable vacation destination for me up to now! Beautiful beaches with fine white sands and crystal clear water, snorkeling, great choice of amazing food in a walking distance, gorgeous sunsets (every one of them is unique, but all of them are breathtaking!). This is the place to come back over and over again!

Boracay. Feliz Hotel Boracay
Hotel reviews:
That's the end of our stay at this hotel in a suite.
Like it:
The beach is 3 minutes away;
There are small shops nearby;
Live music in the evening;
The hotel has a very beautiful and stylish interior.;
Amazing entrance group;
Large spacious room;
Bathroom in the room (minus information below);
Friendly staff;
Convenient transfer service;
Rooftop pool;
Nice towels;
Blackout curtains;
A comfortable mattress.
I didn't like it:
•The welcome drinks were alcoholic only, they were different in the pictures, but in fact they turned out to be the same and not very tasty;
• It's very noisy outside the window until nightfall. You can't rest here during the day;
•There was a transformer room behind the wall of our room, and there was a lot of noise coming out of it at night. I had to sleep in earplugs to get enough sleep.
The luxurious bathroom in the room did not retain water when the drain pipe was plugged. The plug was leaking water and the tub could not be filled by more than 10 centimeters. I regretted that we took a more expensive room with a bathroom that could not be taken.;
Unfortunately, the floor is not cleaned during cleaning. It has been checked several times;
•Coffee capsules were available only on the first day, then I had to drink coffee only from tea bags. I don't understand why I should put the coffee machine on and not report the capsules. 2 capsules for the entire rest is extremely small … When asked to bring capsule coffee, it was brought to us in bags..
•No used lotion was added;
•We didn't like breakfast very much, as there was no porridge, little fruit, and no cheese for sandwiches. The omelet was always very unappetizing. There were no vegetables at all. None of this was very familiar to us. I didn't really want to eat rice for breakfast and eat it with meat in sauce. We understand that this is a common breakfast for the Philippines, but unfortunately it upset us that the hotel does not have a choice of breakfast for other nations, as such a breakfast is considered very heavy for us.
• There are only 9 sun beds by the pool (this is extremely small for a hotel of 80 rooms, while the roof area allows you to put a little more);
I am writing about the disadvantages not so that you do not choose a hotel, but so that the hotel management improves the service, because the hotel itself is very beautiful. Many people should see it. I recommend it anyway. 🙂
Nice firendly spot
Boracay island brew is a very homey sort of spot. One gets real comfy quickly. And yes the coffee is great! I requested for less milk and sugar. Got what i asked for and they even offered extra coffee (shot) if i feel that the drink is short on coffee.
They are closed on saturdays and closes at 5 pm on fridays, but owner told me they close at 6pm. Nice to have little chitchat with the owners. They are very nice and polite. These things improve the overall experience.

No frills
This was a very simple yet cozy place with nice interior and the small place will not bother you at all. Their coffee is really great no doubt and with no exaggeration it is way much better than the popular ones on the island. Owner was really welcoming and we got to chat with her every time we visit the cafe.
I find silong also to be a Greta spot for cakes and breakfasts. We visited the cafe serveal times for the same. Also, some afternoons when it was very hot outside, silong was a fine spot to lounge around and suck up on some WiFi and surf the net.

Lovely tea and food options
Moksha was a great find. I loved the food options they have. They have the Filipino silogs as well as international brunch meals, all reasonably priced. I ordered eggs bene that came with a fresh side salad. You can choose to have it with ham or bacon. The hollandaise was thicker than usual, but it was tasty nonetheless.
I also ordered grilled cheese with potato chips. I must say that their bread here was very fluffy and buttery (tasted like milk bread or pancake). The iced cafe americano was good and not acidic. Be smitten by their resident dogs, Toffee and Cookie. The staff were very hospitable and attentive.

Cozy spot
Munimuni is a bit of a hidden spot. It's got a very laid-back and cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. Their coffee and pastries are must-try. The place is also in front of the beach and you can see the beach from the restaurant. The 1st floor has no ac, while the 2nd floor is air conditioned.
Cafe also has a rooftop. We were seated on the second floor right by the window. It was night time so we couldn't see the beach but was able to see the nightlife below. Service was actually great and food came out quickly as well.

Lovely vibe
This was one of the best spots in Boracay to lounge around. There were 7 of us and we often visited real coffee. I think besides the view the coffee was also amongst the best we had on the island. The view was so stunning, it was a perfect place to watch the sunset and sunrise.
The food was okay. The staff are nice and friendly. I will recommend this place if you loved to watch the sunset and sunrise. We tried their mango and kalamansi muffins and taste good.
#philippinestrip #beachlife #boracay
Wonderful coffee & brekkie
Good ambiance to relax while watching people passing by and waves hitting the beach. Carrot cake is quite good although the icing on top a bit too sweet to my liking. We also visited them during the brunch hous. It was quite crowded, but I was told it's the same place as the Italian restaurant across the street, so I sat there and enjoyed the café's food.
After being disappointed with the fruit in Boracay so far, the fruit served with the brunch, along with the panini, was delicious and filling. The restaurant’s location and view are absolutely top-notch.

Great food
They have here an aklanon dish which is
Slow cooked 7 hour "Aklanon style"
Beet Rib Soup with Batuan Annato. Tomatoes
Caramelized Onions and jackfruit. It’s a must try!
And their Pork Belly Humba, it’s so crispy and matched with their tasty soy caramelized sauce & pandan rice.
You better not miss this place! Highly recommended. We even visited them for breakfast. Had some of the morning oats. It was good. But I could just kick back and watch the kite surfers for a while. The space was quiet, clean, and we'll equipped for a peaceful meal or coffee.
#philippinestrip #couplestrip #boracay
splendid views
This is a great place to dine at if you want to enjoy a breathtaking view while you eat. The tiramisu latte is good. The coffee taste a bit bitter but it's balanced out by the layer of cream cheese on top. Their food brings a little bit of a twist on breakfast staple.
I recommend ordering the ube variant of the pancakes and order it in half as it is really heavy. Staffs are friendly and would happily attend to your needs. Also, they have a great view of the front beach while you're munching away.
#philippinestrip #boracay
Beach side
I loved the comfy and beach front vibes. The coffee and dessert were good, not too sweet. White mocha latte and brownie cake were a perfect match. Coffee is delicious. Serves big breakfast as well but a bit pricey.
Good and healthy breakfast options! We had the Acai Bowl as well as the Guacamole toast. We also stopped by another time for coffee alone. It was 7 of us and yes the prices felt much higher than other places we ate at but it's also the premium location.

@ white beach
This was the best food experience by the white beach. And we repeated it several times. Everything about the restaurant hits the spot. It is a well managed place with very good staff. All our requests were accommodated including changes to certain dishes to suit allergies.
The baked scallops were fresh and delicious, kare kare was lovely, we also ordered ceviche and beef. Theres a large range to pick from on the menu. There is also a beautiful view if you are sat outside. Overall, a great place to lounge or even enjoy delicious meals.
#philippinestrip #beachlife #boracay
delcious options
This was a very good find. Gratitude is a sweet little hidden gem walking distance from Bulabog Beach.
Perfect if you want to have some alone time or intimate time with someone or even enjoy vegan treats.
Amazing and friendly staff who will make you feel at home before you even step in. The banana carrot bread was just what I needed after an exhausting day. Overall, it's a place with good atmosphere and decent value. I would recommend.

Laid back spot
This was a great find. Me and my group of friends visited this place several times. It was amongst the most laid back of spots. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The coffee here is top-notch, with rich flavors that truly hit the spot.
But what truly sets this place apart is their impressive selection of drinks. Whether you're in the mood for a classic latte or something more adventurous, their skilled baristas have got you covered. The laid-back vibe and stunning ocean views make it the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

favourite
My favourite coffee spot on the island. Trust me, the best espresso you can ever find here in Boracay. Their banana smoothie is awesome as well - no sugar only honey.
The cheesecake itself is a perfect combination of leche flan and cheesecake, moist, soft, and creamy. They have a local sugar that looks like brown sugar that has a little coconut taste and it's not too sweet. My favorite cafe.
#philippinestrip #beachlife #boracay
Most fun hangout
The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the space is both Instagram-worthy and perfect for relaxing with friends. On our 3rd day we decided to go to Bulabog beach and go to this cafe. And since then we hung out here atleast 5 times.
The cafe has limited seating but it’s a pleasant vibe with its earthy decor. There’s no direct view of the sea but it’s a stones throw away. It is a very relaxing spot and i would highly recommend checking it out. They even gave out whole group a free Thai tea each!.
#philippinestrip #boracay #seascapes
Super chill spot
This hidden gem is truly one of a kind, with delicious drinks and an unbeatable vibe. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Boracay scenery. But that's not all! Calma Cafe is also surprisingly work-friendly.
They have a stable wifi connection and plenty of outlet sockets, so I could comfortably get some work done while enjoying the ambiance. The place is peaceful and cozy, definitely best if you’re looking for a place to chill and have a good time with your friends and take good photos. The place gives a bali vibes, I also love the music choices
#philippinestrip #staycation #boracay
Best vibe
A nice Filipino couple who were our neighbours at the resort, joined and introduced us to this gem. Overlooking a calmer beach in Boracay away from a lot of the other tourists. We had to walk to this spot since it wasn’t reachable by cars/tricycles.This was near Bulabog Beach and you have to climb some steps to get to the cafe since it’s overlooking the beach.
Drinks were so refreshing, and affordable too! Pleasantly surprised by the dalandan espresso, tasted like one of my all-time favorite drinks and my friends and I loved the whole vibe. When is Boracay, this place should definitely not be missed
#philippinestrip #boracay #thingstodo
lovely atmosphere
I like these kinds of places with a personal touch. Totally bananas cafe is a small cafe that has a homely atmosphere. I got the iced Americano and my partner got the hot one. So far, it's been the best coffee on the island.
They serve drinks and desserts highlighting the banana fruit. I ordered San Sebastián cheesecake. Not sure if it had bananas, but I tasted a hint of it. I also ordered iced cafe mocha, which was good and well presented. The staff were friendly.
#philippinestrip #couplestrip #boracay
Fantastic spot
The space is al fresco with vibrant tropical vibes. We had brunch here and was super satisfied! Food was delicious and totally worth what you paid for. The tables were clean and the seats were comfortable. It was Saturday evening when we visited but lucky us that it wasn't crowded and we got to sit instantly when we arrived.
Drinks were great as well and I love that they have healthy drinks on the menu. They also serve breads and pastries. Service was excellent. Food was not budget friendly but I'd say the cakes were worth the price. We each had different cakes and several dishes.

Best brekkie @ boracay
We ate here a couple of times with some Filipino friends. Every single time The meal w as s delightful. The breakfast menu is packed with tasty options, all made with fresh ingredients and a lot of care.
Each dish is both flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff are exceptionally polite and attentive, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for a great breakfast, Lemoni Cafe is definitely worth every penny

Gorgeous food
The staff was so professional and guests were greeted very friendly and shown to their seatings. Even though the place was crowded, the hostesses had the place well under control. With my four visits to this location, I believe it's crowded all around their working hours.
First of all, the menu is loaded with healthy savoury dishes. The fresh served fruits along with their distinguished breads and locally roasted specialty coffee makes it a heck of experience. With the delicious scrambled eggs with slices of cheese on the top and plenty of pumpkin seeds and pomegranate sprinkled, this breakfast was really a treat.
