Genting highlands, Malaysia is a huge place. We book a day trip going their, we had a tour guide and the cable car fare is already included. It was a nice place for shopping and playing arcade. There was this massive temple of buddha and a Chinese shrine. There are luxury stores that sells way cheaper compared to the price in Kuala Lumpur. The arcade was indoor, so if you want to play you can just stay in their mall. There are no plenty of choices of food so you better eat breakfast before you leave KL. It is actually a world famous brand in the UK, well known for its fish and chip! It’s got both indoor and outdoor seatings, quite a lot of seats, but the line is always long in front of the restaurant (we waited for about one hour). We were seated at the outdoor, kinda chilly for the night but it was nice! The ambiance was warm and great, the indoor seating was filled with rustic wooden furniture, it was kinda cozy! They serve fish and chips (cod fish or haddock to choose from), burgers, soup! We also ordered pie of the day and it was a 10/10, taste like some hot bowl of warm creamy chowder. Worth a visit! It was impressive. We played outdoor until it closed. Then we went to play indoor rides because the indoor ones are mostly for children. There are adults but not many. It is an experience that you have to go at least once in your life.

We took a day trip to Genting Highlands from Kuala Lumpur. We booked bus tickets online from KL Sentral to Genting Premium Outlets Awana station - the ride was about an hour, and the 20 ringit ticket included a cable car ride up to the resort and casino. After hopping off the bus, we spent several hours at the outlet mall having lunch, drinking coffee, and doing some shopping. Then we hopped on the cable car and rode up - unfortunately, it was drizzly and cloudy so fog obscure most of the view. Visiting Resort World Genting isn't complete without taking the Awana Skyway. Gondola or cable car with a height of 1,860 meters and a length of 3.38 km will take you along the natural beauty of Genting from above. Awana Skyway starts operating at half past 8 am to 11 pm. But on weekends and national holidays, this gondola usually operates until 1 in the morning. Inside the gondola there is a USB port that you can use to charge the battery. The cost that you have to prepare to ride a regular gondola is 8 Malaysian ringgit per person or around 28 thousand rupiah if converted.
