💰 Entry Fee and Getting Around: Entry to the palace is 500 THB (about 14 USD), which includes access to Wat Phra Kaew. Give yourself at least two hours to wander around, as there’s so much to see and appreciate. Even after leaving, I felt I could have spent even more time taking in the beautiful architecture.
🥤Beating the Bangkok Heat: The tropical heat of Bangkok is no joke, especially as you walk around. Shaded spots are limited, so stay hydrated by bringing water or picking some up from the small kiosks inside. This made it much easier to keep exploring and fully enjoy the experience.

Unforgettable experience 🤍
I had a breathtaking experience flying in a hot air balloon in Vang Vieng. The views were absolutely magical, with the lush mountains, rice fields, mist and cloud surrounding us.
Definitely I had the best sunrise of my life, it felt like I was in a dream! The landing was very smooth and the company prepared some breakfast for all of us, a bottle of champagne and a certificate.

🏨 I arrived on Friday afternoon at Riu La Mola, and I was immediately blown away by the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The hotel’s atmosphere is so welcoming and my room was perfect - spacious and with a gorgeous balcony where I could unwind. After a quick dip in the pool, I decided to explore the beach right outside the hotel. The sand was soft and the water was crystal clear - it felt like paradise! #holidayvacation #relax #beachlife

🏖️ Saturday was all about exploring! I kicked off the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then headed to Playa de Ses Illetes, one of the most famous beaches on the island. The turquoise waters were perfect for swimming and the beach was buzzing with energy.

For lunch, I went to Chiringuito Bartolo, conveniently located right next to the hotel. The vibe was laid-back, and the fresh seafood was simple out of this world! I spend the rest of the afternoon lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun and reflecting on my amazing trip.

- Enjoy Local Food: plan for a meal at one of the restaurants inside, it’s great to sit down in the shade for a break while trying some local cuisine.
-Plan your day: Petra is massive, you will need at least one full day exploring the site. We spend around 8 hours!

Waterfall in a crater shape!
Hidden between the peaks of a mountain, you will find a little wooden arch with a sign hammered to it, showing a path. Walking down the path there are wooden steps and handrails. At the bottom it appears similar to a volcanic crater but there is a waterfall enclosed between lush trees.
Follow the path and you can stand behind the waterfall! A really awesome spot to spend the day having a picnic!

You can see photos of Luo Hong. He is an owner of famous Chinese bakery “Holiland”, and also he is a great photographer. There are many photos, that he took during travelling around the world. Especially beautiful photos of Africa and wild animals.

A few years ago, I took a picture at the Hollywood Sign, but I went to the other side at Griffith Observatory. When I took the picture, I felt that the sign was very far away. But at that time, I thought I was very impressed. But when I saw other people's pictures of the Hollywood Sign, they were very close. When I saw it, I felt that this angle was the one that I had to come here to really arrive. That's why I had to come back to take another picture this time. So that I wouldn't be confused with the photo angle at the Hollywood Sign... And then I found the coordinates, which many people may already know. So in this post, I would like to pin this coordinate for you.
- First of all, for those who drive by themselves, pin the coordinates in Google Maps as Lake Hollywood Park. The pin will take us to park at the entrance of the park. The car will be parked on both sides of the road. Find the right time and park instead of the car that just left or in an empty space. There is no parking fee booth in this area, which means that you can park for free.
- The first point is when you park your car, you will see the Lake Hollywood Park sign. The lawn is the first photo spot where people of all ages can easily take pictures. The sign is quite high but beautiful.
- Point 2 After taking pictures at the first point, walk out of the garden and walk along the sidewalk up the hill. You will find a curve in the road (I personally like this point because it is quite close, not too close or too far).
- Point 3 This area is the highest point for taking pictures with the sign. You will get a good angle close to the sign. Those who like to take clear pictures with the sign, this area is very suitable. For this point, continue walking up from Point 2. You have to walk along the side of the road up. The difficulty is that there is not much shoulder because the sidewalk is blocked by cloth to prevent the sign from being seen for fear that tourists will go out to take pictures and block the traffic.
Continuing to walk up, you will start to enter a house on the hill. Keep walking straight. There will be more people walking. There is no parking in this area. Parking is prohibited in all cases. Therefore, you have to park your car at the park below. You will start to see small signs on houses telling you to walk up the path. Keep walking up and you will see the Hollywood sign grow bigger because you are close to the top. Finally, you will see a large green gate. That means you have arrived. Walk through the large gate and you will reach an outdoor area. There are tourists and locals who come to jog, take pictures, and have picnics, which is a very beautiful view. Actually, from this point, there is a path to walk up to the Hollywood sign. But I'll stop here and think that I have truly arrived in Los Angeles as I wished.... Lingtongshan is a must see no matter the weather if you’re in the Xiamen/Zhangzhou area. I’ve done the hike in sun, rain, and heavy fog and each time is a unique, beautiful, and fun experience. Cost of entry is 20 yuan per person.
I’ve taken my 65 year old parents, friends who aren’t in the best shape, dog, and seen countless kids make the hike up the stairs to the temple. The temple portion is about a 30 minute trek and most people of any fitness level can make it. The hike that forks off and goes to the peak is more difficult and requires the ability to squeeze into tight spaces and climb ladders. Be aware if you bring your dog they’ll either need to fit in a bag or you’ll need another way to carry them up the ladders. Hike this portion at your own discretion. The peak hike would take an average group a little over an hour going up and a little less coming back down. Depending on who I hike with I’ve done it as fast as 40 minutes up though.
If you have a Chinese drivers license it’s highly recommended to rent a car and drive out to the mountain. The trip from Xiamen is beautiful in itself and you’ll have the flexibility of going/leaving when you want. Getting a DiDi or taxi is very difficult from the mountain so please be prepared ahead of time.
