I found a rocky Jurassic Park
I found a neat dinosaur stone statue park in Terelj National Park, Mongolia. This place is around the corner from the notorious Turtle Rock. Many real life dinosaur remains have also been discovered in Mongolia over the years, thus dinosaurs are an integral part of the modern culture. Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbatar even has a mall with massive dinosaur bones and skeletons on display.
The dinosaur statue park has a small entrance fee of 2,000 tugrik. Which was around 30 cents (.30) in US dollars. Some of the statues are small and some are ginormous. It was well worth a visit and gives you a unique sense of wonder. Most of the statues are in great shape but a few of them had crumbling parts and I wish someone would perform maintenance more frequently.
The entrance fee is cheap but many visit everyday. The park is very wide and spread out therefore it is not too crowded. I did not upload pictures of all of the dinosaurs so go see for yourself!

Korean Sliced Noodles at Daegu Seomun Market
Red Bench Traditional Sliced Noodles
Enjoy the Taste | Korean Sliced Noodles
Korean Sliced Noodles
Seomun Market Delicacies Sweet Pancakes
Delicious Sliced Noodles Next in Line
Also one of Daegu's Top Ten Delicacies
Seomun Market is quite large, stretching across
The sliced noodles form a street of their own
One stall next to another, forming a row
Finally attracted by the Red Bench stall
Red benches scattered beside the independent stall
Along with the steaming noodle stall
Auntie busy scooping noodles and preparing ingredients
Foodies casually sitting, shouting their orders
This atmosphere and scene are full of stories
But the market auntie doesn't know English
I had to observe how the locals order
Found out this stall only sells sliced noodles
Haha, that makes it much simpler
Happily went to the auntie, gestured 1 with my finger
Auntie nodded and pointed to the seating area
One person, two chairs, one as a table
The sliced noodles in water, quite good-looking
Clear soup noodles with greens, chili oil, and scallions
Sprinkled with white sesame seeds for added color and aroma
A side dish of spicy kimchi is a standard
Stirring while it's hot, served a bowl
The broth is clear and sweet, the white noodles are delicate
This bowl of sliced noodles may not be extraordinary
But like our market's plain noodles
Always a bowl of delicious, never-tiring food
Eating while experiencing the old market culture
Thinking about what to eat next
Thailand's Ratchaburi_Potta_, a hidden forest-themed cafe.
Fresh Orange Cold Brew
Cold brew, topped with oranges
POTTA in Ratchaburi
Originally part of a pocket plan
A small white house covered in greenery
Attracted by such photos
When visiting, there was some hesitation
Walking on a small industrial road
With weeds and bungalows on both sides
Even saw an abandoned recycling yard
After a short distance, turned a corner
Finally saw the POTTA sign
On a wall covered in greenery
Just like the photos, a small white house
Hidden in the sunlight and greenery
Opening the door, the aroma of coffee wafts
Floor-to-ceiling windows let in natural light
Falling on wooden tables and chairs
Surrounded by wooden forest
Like a fairytale forest house
Fresh Orange Cold Brew, sweet with fruit
But more of a coffee aftertaste
Inside, it's very quiet in the afternoon
Outside, leaves flutter in the breeze
Take a sip of refreshing coffee
Taste a piece of homemade cake
Unknowingly, an entire afternoon passes

Ordered a basic Flat White
Tasting the flavor and admiring the latte art
I must say, for 88 THB per cup
The extraction balance and flavor

Still maintain a certain level of professionalism
Chiang Mai coffee, always satisfying
Step back in time visiting Zhouzhuang Ancient town
Visiting China’s number one water town was definitely a must see on my 3 day trip to Suzhou
Definitely worth the 1.5 hour trip to and from!
It was nice to have some time to take photos before everyone arrived.. my ticket was for 7.30am-12pm and though I was rushing to arrive early, most shops didn't open until around 9am so don't recommend arriving so early unless you'd like to take photos with no people around
🗓️Itinerary Scheduling: I think this could possibly be a better view/experience in the afternoon/night time if you get the chance.. And l'd say half a day there is enough time to view!

🇬🇧Budget-Friendly Hotel in London, UK
#magicalxmastrip
💞Reasons to Recommend: Dolphin Inn Hotel's staff are very kind and accommodating. They let us check in to our room early. We booked 3 bunk beds with a private bathroom. The room is bigger than expected, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast buffet is also worth the price. Plus, this hotel is walking distance to plenty of souvenir shops, restaurants, hop on and off buses, and the Paddington train station. Just a heads up, they do not have an elevator.

💞Reasons to Recommend: Queensland Cruising Yacht Club has the stunning waterfront view of the Cabbage Tree and Nundah Creek Rivers alongside beautiful yachts and greenery. They also have outdoor and indoor dining areas with plenty of space. Surprisingly, it was not busy on a Saturday morning. But still, we suggest booking a table in advance to secure a good spot. The big breakfast is appetizing and affordable. I also love their hot chocolate. Although we had to wait for a long time for the food to arrive, we enjoyed our meals and the overall atmosphere of the place is amazing!

Exploring Cambodia: A Land of Ancient Wonders and Modern Charm
Cambodia, a land where the past and present intertwine, is one of Southeast Asia’s hidden gems. Known primarily for the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor Wat, the country offers so much more than its ancient wonders. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a culture lover, or an adventure seeker, Cambodia invites you to discover its multifaceted beauty.
Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, stands as a testament to the grandeur of the Khmer Empire. However, while these temples are a must-see, the surrounding countryside, bustling cities, and coastal retreats are equally compelling. Phnom Penh, the country’s capital, buzzes with life, blending colonial architecture with vibrant street markets. The Royal Palace and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum remind visitors of Cambodia’s tragic past, offering an important glimpse into its resilience.
But beyond the historical landmarks, Cambodia’s natural beauty is captivating. The peaceful Tonle Sap Lake, home to floating villages, contrasts the lively scenes of Siem Reap’s night markets and Phnom Penh’s riverside promenade. The coastal town of Sihanoukville provides idyllic beaches for those looking to unwind, while the Cardamom Mountains offer trails for trekking and wildlife exploration.
Cambodia may be small, but its heart is enormous. The warmth and hospitality of its people leave a lasting impression, and its unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty make it a destination worth exploring. Whether you’re uncovering the mysteries of Angkor or simply savoring a bowl of local noodle soup, Cambodia’s charm is undeniable and unforgettable.

Autumnal vibes at Yufuin
Spend a leisurely day at Yufuin, where quaint olden days vibes with fairy tale villages. Take a walk down to Kirin Lake for the autumnal foliage, and shop your way back to the station. With plenty of snacks and trinkets along the way, it is recommended to stay over at one of the many hot springs inns the night before and have an early start before the day trippers descend.
Tip: The ever popular Yufuin no Mori express train can be booked on JR Kyushu site a month in advance. Be warned that the system usually hangs in the morning from when tickets are released. Stay over the night before and book the last train out, because the last train of the day usually still have seats available after the morning booking rush.

⚜️French Provincial Apartment On The GC⚜️
Last night, mummy took us to a beautiful apartment in Southport on the Gold Coast. It had beautiful neo classical/French style knick-knacks, and an amazing view! 🪟🏙️
Both bedrooms were beautiful but we slept in the smaller one because it felt more cosy and had those lovely sheer curtains, sort of like the kind of beds that royalty sleep in. It's like a resort!
We had a lovely night in that apartment, and highly recommend it not only for the aesthetics but the close proximity of the shops and light rail (Broadwater Parklands station). Au revoir until next time! 💙🤍❤️

A Journey Through Erfurt's Museums: An In-Depth Exploration of History and Art
The museums in Erfurt, Germany, add a rich cultural and intellectual atmosphere to this historic city. Recently, I visited the old town of Erfurt and was pleasantly surprised to discover the Angermuseum, a museum dedicated to art and crafts. The museum showcases artworks from the Middle Ages to the modern era, including exquisite ceramics, glassware, and paintings, each piece telling a story of local history and culture.
Additionally, I recommend the Old Synagogue, the best-preserved medieval synagogue in Europe, which holds both historical and educational significance. The exhibits inside cover Jewish culture, religion, and life, with the most striking being the Erfurt Treasure, over 700 years old, including gold artifacts and manuscripts, offering a profound sense of the region's diverse cultural heritage.
Erfurt's museum experience is perfect for history and art enthusiasts. If you have the time, I suggest setting aside half a day to fully appreciate the charm of these museums and to immerse yourself in the city's rich cultural heritage!

Hidden Gem in Phuket!
We were looking for a chill and relaxed trip away from the city. This was worth the money as the view from the room is just amazing!
You can even watch the sunrise from the room as they have windows at three sides of the room! The view id breathtaking.
We stayed at Beyond Skywalk Nangshi! Beautiful place! With a free entry to Skywalk anytime from 6-6! Sunrises around 6am and it is dark by 7pm. The place is too beautiful during sunrise.
We went with our 6 month old baby and it was really comfortable. The staffs were really friendly and food was amazing. The chicken stuffed pizza was really one of the best we had!

Malacca City or in Malay called Melaka is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in southwestern Malaysia. At its center, Jonker Street, Chinatown’s main thoroughfare, is known for antique shops and its night market. Guangzhou, China
My family and I recently went on a trip to Guangzhou, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. We had so much fun exploring the city and trying out a variety of Chinese dishes. The food was truly incredible, with a mix of flavors and styles that showcased the diversity of Chinese cuisine. From dim sum to street food, every meal was a treat.
Although it was already early November, the weather was still quite warm, which was surprising to us. However, we didn’t let it bother us and made the most of our trip. Strolling through the vibrant streets and markets of Guangzhou was an unforgettable experience. We visited some famous landmarks and enjoyed the city’s lively atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the weather took a turn during the last two days of our trip, with continuous rain making it harder for us to move around. Despite the inconvenience, we adapted and managed to continue our journey by relying on Didi, the popular ride-hailing service in China. The convenience and affordability of Didi impressed us; it made traveling around the city so much easier, even in the rain.
Overall, the trip left us with many fond memories. Guangzhou is a city full of life, culture, and great food. The friendly locals, vibrant environment, and rich history made the trip truly special. We all agreed that one visit isn’t enough to fully experience everything the city has to offer. I fell in love with China and can’t wait to go back and explore even more cities in the future. This trip was just the beginning of what I’m sure will be many more adventures in China!#travel #familytravel
The enchanting of The Christmas Train Night version.
#magicalxmastrip
This is my second time visiting the Christmas Train at the Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay. My first visit was during the day, and this time, I experienced it at night. The atmosphere and overall vibe are strikingly different between the two times. Daytime highlights the intricate details and vibrant colors of the floral displays, while nighttime adds a magical touch with twinkling lights and a cozy, festive glow.
The night view of the Christmas Train at Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay is particularly enchanting, as the festive lights, decorations, and ambient illumination enhance the magical atmosphere. The interplay of twinkling lights with the lush greenery and the mini trains, creates a mesmerizing scene that's perfect for photos and an unforgettable holiday experience.
Visiting at night also allows you to enjoy other light installations and displays in the Gardens, adding to the overall festive ambiance. I personally prefer the night time ambience.
The Christmas train display collaborates with the U.S. Embassy in Singapore and runs from December 2, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

Magical illuminations & fireworks at Huis Ten Bosch
Huis Ten Bosch is an European themed park in Sasebo. It is easily accessible by the Huis Ten Bosch express liner from Hakata station. A night’s stay at the hotels on site is highly recommended to enjoy the fantastical illuminations after night falls.
As a theme park, it is more for relaxation and photo ops rather than rides. There are several VR rides and highly recommended are several Naked Inc. experiences. The outdoor activities ends by sunset, so plan to do those first if interested.
It is a good for families with younger kids who can take it easy, while mobile challenged seniors might find the vast space a bit of a challenge to transverse. There are plenty of F&B options within the park.
Check out the fireworks schedule on their website when planning your visit.
