Angkor Wat on a buget!
#temples #cambodia #siemreap #freeattraction #savemoney #historicallandmarks #angkorwattemple 💰On any given day, the average price per person is $35 to enter the main temple. This grants you access for the whole day, basically. And I'm sure it's totally worth it. The acres and hectars that directly surround Angkor Wat temple were and still are part of it, and you find probably 10+ (I stand to be corrected) smaller temples with the same characteristics and historic cultural accents. You will still have a great experience, and you'll still leave with breathing photos for less than $10 for 3-4 people that will be in a tuk tuk. I would advise you to use one of the tuk tuk drivers from the Angkor Wat area as they would be familiar with where to find these smaller surrounding temples and structures. These were my favorite pics of that day
💞Reasons to Recommend:
1. Cost effective
2. Cultural experience
3. Satisfaction levels acheaved (according to friends of that did both Angkor Wat and surrounding structures
🏖️BAmbiance/Facilities:
1. There are mobile shops in random places in almost every street you turn into, so snacks and cold drinks like filtered water and sodas / juices should be available.

“Sunrise Magic: Exploring the Wonders of Angkor Wat”
Angkor Wat is pure magic, especially at sunrise. Just a short ride from Siem Reap, I arrived in the early morning to catch the first light hitting the temple’s iconic towers—and it was absolutely worth it. Watching the sun slowly rise behind the ancient stone, reflected in the still water below, was breathtaking.
As I wandered through the sprawling temple complex, every corner revealed something new: intricate carvings, towering pillars, and hidden courtyards. The sheer size of Angkor Wat blew me away—it’s easy to get lost in the beauty and history here.
From the detailed bas-reliefs to the sacred atmosphere, Angkor Wat is an unforgettable experience. If you’re in Cambodia, don’t miss this bucket-list destination. Get there early, take your time, and soak in the ancient wonders—it’s a moment you’ll never forget!

Best sunset I have seen in my life 🌅
#bestsunset
#100waysoftravel #sabah #siemreap #baliisland
Seen the best sunset in my life in several places around the world:
1) Sabah
- The sun is huge over the horizon of the South China Sea and sometimes, the colour would not just be orange or blue. If you are in the city centre of Kota Kinabalu, purple sunset is the highlight of the town.
2) Siem reap
- It really depends on the luck if you would like to see the sunset through the ancient Khmer empire - Angkor Wat. If you cant see the sunrise, most of the time, you will miss pit the sunset too!!
3) Bali
- Sunset can be seen everywhere in Bali but I think Tanah Lot is one of the most beautiful spot to enjoy it and do expect huge crowds everyday in the evening hour😆

This Ta Phrom temple is also known as Tomb Rider Temple as this is where the movie Tomb Rider filmed.
If you are to visit to the Angkot Wat, this is usually a combo at the same day as it is just near to each other and takes approximately 15 min by driving!!
Personally I feel this is a must visit place as there are huge trees strangling across the ancient Angkor buildings making it an impressive place to take photos with.
Yet, the entrance fee is FREE so why not to pay a visit 😆😆
Sunrise at the Temple
##100waysoftravel
Angkor Wat’s temples are truly beautiful and captivating, aren’t they? The way the light hits the stone during sunrise and sunset creates such a magical atmosphere.
Ta Prohm, the famous temple in Angkorian National Park, known for its overgrown trees. During sunrise, Ta Prohm takes on an ethereal beauty. The soft morning light filters through the dense jungle, casting a golden glow over the massive roots of the Spung trees as they wrap around the temple’s stone walls. The interplay of light and shadows creates a mystical atmosphere, making it feel like you’ve stepped back in time.
The quiet of the early morning, with fewer tourists around, allows you to fully appreciate the sound of the jungle waking up. Birds begin to sing, and the rustling of leaves adds to the sense of being enveloped by nature. Walking through Ta Prohm at this time is almost a meditative experience, as the combination of ancient architecture and the encroaching jungle inspires awe and reflection. It’s easy to understand why this temple, often called the “Tomb Raider temple,” has captured the imagination of many.

Most Impressive Temples at Angkor Wat 🇰🇭
I spent 2 days exploring Angkor Wat ~ the biggest site of temples in the world, located near Siem Reap, Cambodia 🇰🇭
📍 Here are some of my favourite locations:
1. Angkor Wat - the main temple that everyone visits. Many people visit at sunrise for a beautiful view. Once inside, you can climb to the top and explore.
2. Ta Prohm - made famous by the Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie, the trees have taken back their place in nature with roots growing into the buildings. This one has loads of cool photo opportunities.
3. Preah Khan - a real hidden gem, there was absolutely no one else there when I visited. It’s a lot older and less restored, but that’s what gives it charm. This was probably my favourite, I was totally amazed here.
4. Royal Palace - once again I was all alone! The long path to the palace is perfect for a beautiful photo.
5. Angkor Thom - another well known temple, located in the Bayon. This was a big temple to explore (and get lost in), but I was actually more excited seeing the gate on the drive out!
INFO:
💰1 day ticket is $37, 3 days is $62 or 7 days is $72.
🎟️ Buy tickets online and print it in advance so you don’t have to go to the ticket office on site and queue.
🛺 I recommend spending at least 2 days exploring Angkor Wat. Hire a tuk tuk driver for around $20 per day ~ you can choose where you want to go, or take one of their routes.
🌅 In my opinion, you don’t need to visit Angkor Wat for sunrise. Get some extra sleep and check it out at sunset instead!

3. kyoto imperial palace, It is completely free and the walk and tour is beautiful. There are various animals inside the vicinity

most visited kitakyushu japan
1. sendai trust city, sells everything from gorgeous miscellaneous goods to beautiful flowers, and I was very excited when I saw it.
I would definitely like to go again.
2. kawachi wisteria garden, A Hidden Gem Worth Visiting. Due to its limited opening periods, it's crucial to purchase tickets online in advance to secure your entry.
3. kitakyushu manga museum, Amazing museum that shows the history of manga and how the process of manga creation works. My partner and I enjoyed walking through and seeing how the manga was created.

Location is sea side, Good for walking and eating
Very neat and we'll maintained place. Great place for dog friendly shops, restaurants and cafes.
Designed similar to melrose Los Angeles. We have lot of dine in options with bay side sitting, open air shopping malls and bay walking paths.
Very romantic place for couples. Very nice shopping and eating area with beautiful view

Beautiful place with nice restaurant and so relaxing
There’s a couple of nice restaurants with terrace seats so if you are dressed warm enough. It is windy because it’s right by the sea although they have heaters set up, you need layers in winter. Highly recommended for dates and nice dinner with friends/coworkers, I’ve seen it’s a popular place for wedding.
This place is like entering charlie and the chocolate factory or a model T factory. You see the cooks making the products from scratch.
Great views and atmosphere in many of the restaurants.

Recommended to visit on weekdays or weekend
This place is a must visit if you’re in Yokohama. They have a few spots where you can sit and relax but it’s gets crowded at times so it can be hard to find an open seat.
They do have the history of this place on the wall in smaller building, be sure to check it it’s unique history.
A great shopping experience awaits those who have walked from Yokohama station, a closer station or an even closer cruise ship. One of only a few brick built buildings in Yokohama and definitely worth a visit. It also located near the sea, so the view is amazing

Geat atmosphere, fantastic place for shopping
Just a great day with the family. So many shops to look at.
It's such a wonderful venue for every tourist visiting Japan, Yokohama to be specific. Beautiful malls with a lot of good brand's shops inside.
From cheap to top dollar, so something for everyone’s budget. Visited during Pokémon Worlds and it was beautifully decorated

dark when we got to the tower
In my honest and personal opinion, this city is way better than Tokyo. Landmark Tower is fancy.
It has restos, high end shops and nearby tourist spots make scenic views from this vantage point.
Superb centrally located hotel within the Yokohama bay area, surrounded by many shopping areas and entertainment areas. The rooms are large and ultra clean.
I would highly recommend this place.

Quite a nostalgic park
Yokohama Cosmo World is divided into three zones and spread across both sides of the Ooka River's mouth. The park features a quite variety of rides for all ages to thrilling attractions, along with live performances, games, and some dining options.
Riding on the Ferris wheel and the Roller Coaster does take a very long waiting time because there’s a lot of people who wants to get on as well. Nice mix of rides for little children, teenagers, and adults.
Its picturesque waterfront setting, especially vibrant at night, adds to its appeal both as a family destination. There's also amusement games, shops, and a few places to eat.

Another incredible Temple -TA PROHM
Ta PROHM is the modern name of a temple near the city of Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th century and early 13th century. It was founded by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery and center of learning dedicated to his mother.
The temple is known as the "Tomb Raider Temple" or the "Angelina Jolie Temple" due to its depiction in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)
The temple was built without mortar and, after it was abandoned, trees took root in the loosened stones. The trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of the most popular temples with visitors to the area.It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992.
I used the same tour guide that I booked online….having finished visiting the biggest temple in angkor wat, we were heading to this temple….the one that is famous because of tomb rider Movie
Each of the temple jn Angkor Wat is very unique and amazing and each of then has its own characteristics.

Have u heard about angkor Wat?
When u see the pics….the one that will blow in ur mind is PRAMBANAN TEMPLE….yeah….it looks alike but actually this is ANGKOR WAT TEMPLE
Where is it?it is located in siem riep, cambodia….It is one of the hindu-budhist temple in cambodia and the site measuring is around 163.6 hectars.
it is considered the largest religious structure in the world by Guinness World Records. Originally constructed in 1150 CE as a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Vishnu, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the century.
Angkor Wat was built at the behest of the Khmer king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century.the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer temple architecture: the temple-mountain and the later galleried temple. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology and is surrounded by a moat more than 5 km (3.1 mi). Enclosed within an outer wall 3.6 kilometres (2.2 mi) long are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next. At the centre of the temple stands a quincunx of towers. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west with scholars divided as to the significance of this.
It’s just a bit of angkor wat but YOU HAVE TO BE THERE to see this amazing temple. At that time, i was going early in the morning to see the sunrise….i was picked up by the local guide in the hotel at around 4am….even i cant really see the sunrise, But I was really excited going to this temple as this one of my wishlist to be there
You can buy the ticket online so I booked it 1st one day before visiting the angkor Wat temple….it costs around 600 K IDR after the conversion froM USD. Just for ur information, everything in Cambodia use USD for the transaction

Plenty of food places as well
This is one of many famous tourist attraction spot in Osaka. Best time to visit is at night. So we can enjoy sparkling colorful lights along the way full of signage and displays.
Make sure you are hungry when you walk around as a lot of restaurants all around and good to try the local specialties. One could walk all day in the shopping malls and won't be tired.
because there is so much to see and enjoy

Pretty little town on the famous Kiso Road
Narai juku, nestled within the picturesque Kiso Valley in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As one of the most well-preserved and charming examples of its kind, Narai juku beckons travelers to step back in time.
Its strategic location amidst lush mountains and pristine rivers made it a pivotal point along the route. A good and peaceful walk in a historic place that seems to be hidden in the middle of nowhere.
Some locals speaks decent English. Friendly people everywhere

Osaka's own anime district
Den Den Town is like a quarter-scale version of Akiba, nowhere near as large but still just as full of energy. By being smaller it also feels less hectic and crowded which is no bad thing when you're scouring shelf upon shelf of great merchandise to choose from.
Card, game and hobby shops. Very much well worth the visit even if you've spent plenty of time in its Tokyo counterpart.
Tons of anime stuff, great street food too. I really recommend trying Taiyaki and Melon bread along the way, chicken sticks.

very beautiful and spacious Japanese garden
A very nice place with a very helpful staff. It is incredibly beautiful and full of tea houses all things pertaining to a traditional Japanese garden.

highly recommended for visitors who can feel Wabi Sabi, Japanese traditional beauty.

a lovely view of shirakawago
The walk up and down was a bit slippery in winter but the views were good and we had some fun playing with the snow. Free observation deck that can be reached by a 10-15min hike.
2 choices to go here are walking or bus. I recommend that you walk the town first from the bus terminal and head up from the end of the town where there is a nice path that gradually elevates to the top.
The view along the way is beautiful, you can enjoy taking photos during the walk. The view along the way is beautiful, you can enjoy taking photos during the walk

Very serene and enchanting
It has a cery nice design and color located just near the river which is the boundary of Aichi and Gifu prefecture. The entrance is just ¥550 for adults and you can also get inside of it and see the nice view on the top.
The structural form of this castle is with watchtower. Do note you have to take your shoes off inside the castle and there are several sets of steep steps to get to the top.
It was also pretty hot inside on the day we went. The view on top had the best view

incredible look into the history
What a massive temple complex. This was a highlight of our Cambodian trip. There is no way if you are in siem reap and not visit this temple complex. I recommend having a guide which accentuates you understanding of history.

Try to be here if in Nagoya
Visited Noridake's Forest on Sunday morning. There were many people who took a quiet walk in the garden rather than several exhibition halls and museums, so it was relaxing
The park site in front of the ION Mall, which is directly connected. Garden includes Noritake Museum and Exhibition Hall which allows people learn more about the history of Japanese ceramics.
Informative gallery and beautiful grounds offering peaceful respite from the city. Very convenient

Incredible the history and detail
The collections are priceless, if you are into warring state history. Fairly large museum with exhibitions centered around Tokugawa Ieyasu and the daily lives of the wealthy from long ago in Japan.
Also, houses original and reproductions of a very famous Japanese story The Tale of Genji. Very nicely presented exhibitions and it is extremely peaceful inside as you walk through.
This made for a fairly unenjoyable experience, however I do still recommend going. Lockers are provided for medium to large size luggage, and the usual 100 yen locker

one of the famous in Nagoya
It feels like a portal into the forest from the city. However there are many people around no matter the time of day, so you still sadly feel a sense of the urban city.
A translation app is recommended if you do not speak Japanese, it is worth reading about the significance of the shrine as well. The sacred sword contained inside, which is hidden from public view.
I visited on Tuesday morning and it wasn’t crowded. Definitely recommend if you are in Nagoya.

The Osu Kannon temple is one of main temples in Osu Shopping areas. It is located at one end of osu shopping district.
Quite an interesting place. There were a lot of pigeons around the temple and I saw people feeding them for good luck.
Not a very big temple but you get to pray and offer incense at the top of the stairs. If you're looking for a smaller temple with a small crowd, this might be for you.
