Travelled to Oman Muscat for a relaxing weekend getaway at Shangri-La Al Husn Resort and Spa. This beautiful pink sanctuary served as the destination for my girlfriend’s birthday this year. Sultan Qaboos Grand Masjid (Mosque) 🕌 is an impressive architecture place. This mosque is huge and you will enjoy the beauty of the details in it. It's located in Muscat, Oman 🇴🇲. Anyone can go visit the mosque, Muslims or non Muslims. Better you go during the day as it is much better for photos, but it can be very hot. I enjoyed every part of it, they really designed it well. #mosque #oman #muscat

It's so peaceful, natural, and relaxing to hike in this valley (wadi in Arabic) the water is beautiful and you can definitely/must swim in it The hike is 3 out of 5 when it comes to it's difficulty. And if you really want to reach the end you need to swim a bit to find the waterfall It's like an adventure. You need to pay 1 Omani Real (20 RMB/ 3$) to pass the water by boat to enter the Wadi. Apart from this no need to pay anything else. Watch out when you hike and take some water with you. Try to go early morning around 8 as it gets hotter and more crowded later. They whole hike go and back could take you up to two hours. It's around an hour 45 minutes drive from muscat. Enjoy #oman #muscat

As I jogged along a dusty trail, I spotted them in the distance—adorable, but definitely looking uncomfortable. With their little hooves trotting rapidly, it almost seemed like they were urgently racing towards the nearest bush (or maybe just the nearest snack). These goats, who roam freely across the Omani countryside, are used to the heat and harsh terrain, but this particular bunch was full of personality. Their hurried, almost frantic steps gave me the impression that they were on a mission. Fun fact: Goats in Oman are known for their ability to adapt to the dry, rocky environment, but apparently, even they have their urgent moments! The sight of these goats made my morning run a lot more amusing.

#2024mapped Perfect getaway in Winter. The temperatures in Oman are between 20-25 °C in Winter. So deciding to go here for camping and diving was just perfect. Easy access to the islands by boat from Seeb Marina, very near to Muscat. But the islands are far enough to feel relaxed and connected to the nature. Many boats arrive with tourists for a day trip to enjoy snorkeling, and just after midday, the island get just for campers. An overnight experience in a desert island. The best of Dimaniyat Islands is that is also a refugee for marine turtles that don't feel disturbed by swimmers. They really get close to you! Such a beautiful experience. Diving experience. Lovely coral reef and multiple diving spots. Currents are moderate. And marine life is just perfect, turtles, moraines, giant stingrays, manta rays. This is what we experienced, but it is home to many other species. Wadi Shab is a must when traveling to Muscat, Oman. Just 1:40h car ride away a beautiful swimmers‘ paradise awaits. We walked for around 40 minutes from the main road, and then swam about 800m to reach a cave we swum in. The water is from a spring so it is very clean and clear! The weather is always very hot though so remember to bring a lot of water and a hat is also a must! #oman #nature

Oman! I live in Dubai and take the car to do a quick weekend trip to Oman. We start our trip on Friday afternoon and drove for 5h to Muscat (the capital). We stayed in Hilton Muscat and just had dinner that night. The day after we went on a boat trip to Daymaniyat Island which is just stunning!!! We spend the morning snorkelling and we saw so so many tortuges 😍😍, after the boat day we had dinner in a local restaurant next to the hotel. On Sunday was our last day and we went from Muscat to Nizwa. We visit the Nizwa Fort and stroll around the small village, we had lunch in a local restaurant and we had the most amazing shawarma! After lunch we drove back to Dubai since the trip is longer than 2h (the border was quite busy). I love to scape some weekends to Oman! #oman #vacation #roadtrip #tourism

In Northern Oman near the gulf coast, just off the road between Dibab and Bimmah, there’s a particularly beautiful example of the natural phenomena. In an otherwise flat area, the Bimmah sinkhole formed about a third of a mile from the sea, resulting in a turquoise mix of fresh and salt, the 50m by 70m depression around 600m from the coast is filled with crystal-clear turquoise water.
