In the Heights above Hvar
The city fortress of Hvar dates from at least the late 1200s, and is aremarkable example of this type of city fortifications. The views from the Fort, looking down over Hvar Town, HvarHarbour and the islands beyond are magnificent and well worth the hike through the old town streets. The for itself is very well preserved and today houses a small museum and a café.

Hurrah for Hvar!
Hvar is a port and resort town on the Croatian island of the same name. It has a very long and vibrant history and many of its ancient buildings remain intact. The exquisite old town Square is a fine example. Hvar is very popular with tourists as it is within easy reach of Split by local ferry. Hvar has a reputation of being a party island but it has so much to offer for lovers of history, nature and beaches too!

Exploring an abandoned village frozen in time
Ever wondered what it would be like to explore an abandoned village frozen in time? On the beautiful island of Hvar in Croatia, you can do just that! A relatively easy but beautiful hike from the town of Hvar you can discover the abandoned village of Malo Grablje
The village really is frozen in time from when the inhabitants left in the 1960s, with farming tools and Mills that still contain their original equipment. it’s definitely off the tourist trail and a very interesting place to visit.

Our Spontaneous Island Hopping and Boat Adventure to the Pakleni Islands
#islandtour#100waysoftravel #croatia #islandhoping #Paklenisland #hvar
We took a ferry from Split to Hvar and, on a whim, decided to rent a boat from a local Croatian guy. None of us had any experience driving a boat, but the owner was super cool and laid-back. He gave us a quick demo on how to start the engine and navigate, then, with absolute confidence, rented the boat to us. His only advice was to avoid hitting the yachts, as they were expensive. Armed with a simple map, we set off toward Pakleni Islands, an archipelago known for its pristine beaches, secluded coves, and crystal-clear waters. It was an incredible feeling to be in control of the boat, exploring the hidden bays and small islets at our own pace. We anchored near Palmizana, where we swam in the turquoise water and relaxed on the beach, surrounded by the scent of pine trees and the sound of gentle waves. The freedom of the open sea, the beauty of Pakleni, and the thrill of driving the boat ourselves made for a truly unforgettable adventure.

Secret Fairytale Village: Vrboska
The island of Hvar in Croatia. Many people have heard of it and most people end up in Stari Grad or Hvar town when visiting the island. But off the beaten path, lies a charming fishing village popular with yachts and off road bikers
🐠 Fresh Food - The sea food restaurants are a must sea. Places like Trica Gardelin, Luka’s Konoba, Mediterranean, Vrboscam, and Bonaca use freshly caught fish caught in the morning. they prepare it in the local style and you can definitely taste the freshness. If you wake up early enough you can also buy fish off the boats yourself.
🚴♂️bike trails and running trails along the coast cut through vineyards for an amazing experience. bike and boat rentals are possible through B&B rentals service company
🏖Soline beach is a must see and very child friendly. For a more romantic getaway try one of the many secluded coves along the coast. Zecevo island is a 20 minute boat ride away, with a restaurant. The water there is crystal clear and not a lot of people know about it. Food and drinks can be ordered.
In Conclusion: Great place to visit for a couple of days as there are many out door activities to check out. Hidden from the crowds of tourists a great place to enjoy nature. Apartments can be rented out or the 4 star ⭐️ Senses Resort.

Hvar, also
Hvar, also known as Lavender Island
Hvar is famous for lavender. Many hawkers on the island sell lavender products, such as sachets and essential oils.
Some essential oil bottles have hand painted on them
Generally, tourists will stay here for one night and join the blue cave tour there.
However, the weather was not really good when we arrived Hvar so we didn’t join the tour.
I heard that blue caves are sometimes closed because the water level is too high.
If you plan to visit the blue cave, you are suggested to ask the boat agent earlier.
Also, you can rent a speedboat to visit nearby islands from Hvar.
You can see many of these bakeries (PEKARA) in Croatia,
open 24 hours and the price is reasonable, you can buy their bread for breakfast. It is tasty.
Because Hvar has very famous stone terraces
The whole city fluctuates with the terrain of the hillside, so the whole picture has many layers.
It is recommended that you go to the hillside to see the whole city from top to bottom
The blue sky, the green space, the red ancient city ...
In the evening, the different flavors of Stephana Church
Rather than spending a lot of time on the street, I prefer to run down the alley
I am sure that it will surprise you!

Music in Hvar
While staying in Hvar, Croatia and exploring the old town centre it was wonderful to be able to listen to this orchestra playing. I think it was a rehearsal for an event later in the day.

Hiking in Hvar
The hike up to Napoleon Fort in Hvar is not a long one, it only takes about 40 minutes but it is a difficult one. The path is very steep and has many stones which means your footing can be quite unstable; however the views on the way up and from the top make it all worthwhile. If you only have a couple of hours to spare and want to enjoy some fantastic views, this is a great hike to do.
