Shibuya Sky, located at the top of the Shibuya Scramble Square building, offers breathtaking 360° city views of Tokyo. We booked a ticket for 4.30pm slot so that we get the sunset view of the city from the rooftop. There is also an indoor observation on the 46F. There is quite a bit of crowd and some photo spots required to queue for 1hr+ for photos. Recommended to come slightly earlier so that you can get the sunset photos as well as admire the sun setting amidst the buildings. #japantrip #shibuyasky

Shibuya sky is an oper-air observation deck located on the roof of the Shibuya Scramble Square skyscraper. There are many lockers inside where you keep your things. I recommend buying tickets weeks ahead as they are always sold out, especially during holidays. Ticket fee is 2,200 yen, but you can have a drink with a higher fee. The view of Shibuya and the sunset was breathtaking🤩 Recommended time to enter: 4.20 to 5.20 pm to experience day, sunset and night view Do book your ticket earlier because the ticket maybe sold out on site. We were late for approximately one hour from the purchase time, luckily we were still able to enter it😅 Be prepared 100 yen for locker because personal belongings are prohibited to bring in to the rooftop except phone and camera with rope. Also, Fuji mountains that far away from Tokyo 1-2 hours but we can see from here. Wonderful Japan 🇯🇵

It’s an amazing trip to Japan with family. In fact very blessed and lucky to be able to catch the Mount Fuji 🗻 showing full without being #Shy Tokyo #shibuyasky was amazing too. The weather above sky, the colors of sunset, were all made so amazing and beautiful. Kiddos were happily playing and enjoying their space in the sky too. What an experience and definitely worth buying the photo shot. #ichiranramen don’t forget to check out this place. Amazing concept from the food, to the ordering, to the seatings and also to the restroom. I love it so much and can’t have enough. Perfect!! My first Japan trip and definitely not the last one. Opened in late-2019 (right before Covid got rampant), Shibuya Sky is a must visit place as the world opens its border! Located in Shibuya, Tokyo, the relatively new attraction really brings observation deck to a new height, literally! It offers visitors a 360 panoramic view of the entire Tokyo city - from the iconic Shibuya crossing to Tokyo Tower to Mount Fuji (if you’re lucky), the view up there is simply amazing, or should I say magnificent! Personally I love taking videos of the Shibuya crossing from the rooftop. Just to add on, other than offering you a fantastic view of the Tokyo city, the sleek design of its various features are something different and unique from other observation decks in Tokyo. Some of these features include, glass walls, multimedia installations, resting nets etc. This place is so popular that you have to get the tickets way in advance. Better do it online as the last time I checked, they are always fully booked. Also, almost every corner of the observation deck is a instagrammable spot. I am quite sure you can get at least 10 shots with different vibes and backdrop. If I only have one word to describe the view up there, I would use “breathtaking”. #shibuyasky #Tokyo #shibuya

#2024wish Catch the best views of Tokyo at this 360 degrees open air observation deck at the roof top of Shibuya Scramble Square. Shibuya Sky is about 220 metres above the ground and is the highest point in the district of Shibuya. The rooftop also features hammocks for cloud watching and an observation compass to help you identify major landmarks in the distance such as Tokyo Tower, Tower Stadium and even Mount Fuji on a clear day. It is recommended to go during late afternoon so you can watch the sunsets. Pre booking of time slot is required and normally is sold out during sun set timing. So is good to buy the tickets early to avoid disappointment Admission for adult is Yen 2,000, kids below 5 years old is Yen 600. Best View of Tokyo during sunset Hours

No doubt tokyo is so crowded these days but it live up to its hype to Shibuya Sky. I recommend going in the late afternoon to see the day and sunset as well ad the night view of Tokyo. There is no limit with the ticket but pls buffer the timing as well as the weather because it is open air and you are to deposit your bag before heading out to the shibuya sky . Of course you may still go back to your locker to take your item but there is a per time charge for the locker Best timing to head there would be 230pm as you will spend 1-2 hours taking photo and there is a q at the photospot which will takes up around an hour too! For sunset it happens around 430pm so be sure to wait for it as it is sooo beautiful ! Not long after the sunset the sky will then become dark-you may wish to head to the indoor level and do note that there are only a few lifts around so majority of the crowd would leave this place after sunset and hence causing some human traffic jam ! Impromptu trip to tokyo. Stayed at kourokuen hotel wing near Tokyo dome for 8 days. Bought a Wide pass 3days pass to Kawaguchiko and gala yuzawa. A very memorable trip i can say. Spectacular view in Gala yuzawa, scenic sceneries and the best part when we arrive at Gala yuzawa, it snowed and its my first time experiencing snow.
