Banjang seems very popular. There were many foreign guests with families. Everyone from English speaking and Asian countries seemed like tourists. But tastewise it holds weight. I was worried that this would be one of those tourist places with higher prices and no substance. But, I enjoyed the grilled galmaegisal, soybean paste stew, and seafood ramen. You need to grill it yourself there will be egg liquid and oil on both sides of the pot. You can throw in the included side dishes for frying in the oil place, but the side dishes are a bit ordinary. Beef and pork are grilled on different grill pans. Basically, seasoned beef is more delicious because it has been marinated, and the meat is soft and tender. There was a Chinese and English menu. A massive BBQ joint specializing in Black pork that serves high quality meat but at tourist prices. The meat is great but the sheer size of the place is way more amazing. The biggest Korean bbq place I have seen and visited. There are 2 floors, god knows how many rooms this place has. I mean it even has an elevator for the second floor, an elevator in one korean bbq place! There are a lot of side dishes and they refill the lettuce and sesame leaves when needed. The pork belly and collar were both very good. Overall, it's a place with fast service with really good food but high prices and the staff can speak english. The Maple tree house is located in the center of itaewon. And i think it is one of the best places to have the Korean barbeque experience. The prices can seem slightly expensive. We went without a reservation during the lunch hour and was able to get seated right away. Not all of the servers spoke English well, but the menu has English translations. We ordered several things to be shared by 3 of us. I ordered the maple bulgogi set lunch special, the premium Korean aged beef strip loin and the Jeju Korean black pork belly. With the addition of banchan, I definitely over-ordered, but everything tasted so good, and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food that I got. ManiMogo is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurant I have tried in Cebu. This is unlimited samgyupsal with 20 unlimited side dishes too. It is definitely worth it especially when you are starving ang craving bbq. Food is great although you need to wait in line since there are lots of customers all the time. It's better to come earlier than the meal time like for lunch or dinner this has fewer people. ManiMogo has many branches in Cebu but this one that we tried is in busy area which is near Ayala Mall that's also the reason why there many customers. My friend and I really enjoyed the food and finished with a full belly. This branch is located in Montage building, 2nd floor, Archbishop Reyes Avenue, Cebu City. There are 2 options for their unlimited Samgyupsal. 499 without beef and 549 with beef. It opens at 11:30am - 10pm. I would love to go back there again. New year’s dinner with friends was an adventurous experience. We chose indoor barbecue at Meokbang BBQ n KIDZONE, a Korean restaurant in Kwun Tong. It’s the best family restaurant with a kid zone in town. The kids were so excited playing in the kid zone after having their meals, especially using their coins to get gifts. We ordered fresh beef, seafood, and pork for barbecue. All are fresh. The meat was tender and super yummy. Highly recommend that families with kids eat here.
