After exploring the medieval charm of Nuremberg, I hopped on a train to Munich, ready for a summer escape filled with beer gardens, river swims, and iconic landmarks. Bavaria in the summer hits differently—long days, blue skies, and the perfect mix of history and laid-back vibes. 🚆 From Nuremberg to Munich The train ride from Nuremberg to Munich was smooth and scenic—just over an hour, but enough time to watch the Bavarian countryside roll by. As soon as I arrived, the city’s energy was lively but relaxed, a mix of historic beauty and modern fun. 🏰 Marienplatz & Old Town Wandering I kicked things off at Marienplatz, Munich’s famous central square, watching the Glockenspiel chime from the New Town Hall. From there, it was all about wandering through the Old Town, passing by Viktualienmarkt, where locals were grabbing fresh fruits, pretzels, and cheese for the perfect picnic. 🌊 Summer Vibes by the Isar River Munich in the summer means one thing: the Isar River. I followed the locals and headed to the riverbanks, where people were sunbathing, BBQing, and even floating down the river on inflatables. The water was refreshing in the summer heat, and it felt like a completely different side of the city. 🍻 Beer Garden Culture at Its Best Of course, no Munich trip is complete without a visit to a beer garden. I stopped by Hofbräuhaus for the classic tourist experience—big steins, traditional Bavarian music, and lively crowds. Later, I found a quieter spot at Augustiner Keller, where I could just sit under the chestnut trees, sipping a cold beer and enjoying the summer breeze. 🌅 A Golden Sunset at Olympiapark As the sun started setting, I made my way to Olympiapark, the site of the 1972 Olympics. Climbing up the hill there gave me one of the best views of Munich at sunset—the city skyline glowing in golden light, with the Alps faintly visible in the distance. The perfect way to end the day. ✨ Final Thoughts Munich in the summer? Relaxed, lively, and full of hidden gems. #beachcheck Paradise Beach in Mykonos was the ultimate beach party destination! 🌴 From the moment I arrived, I could feel the energetic vibe with the DJ already playing upbeat tunes and people lounging in the sun with cocktails in hand. The beach itself is stunning, with soft golden sand and clear turquoise waters that are perfect for a refreshing swim. 🏖️ The entrance to the beach is free, but I rented a sunbed and umbrella for around €20 to have a comfortable spot to relax. Totally worth it! What really sets Paradise Beach apart is the lively atmosphere. As the day goes on, the beach bars start to fill up, and by afternoon, it feels like a full-blown beach party with people dancing and enjoying themselves. 🍹 For lunch, I grabbed some tasty Greek snacks from one of the beachside cafes, and later on, I couldn’t resist trying a cocktail at Tropicana Beach Club – the vibe there is just incredible! If you’re looking for a peaceful atmosphere away from the tourist crowd in Sanya and want something chilled with quiet surroundings, Holiday Inn & Suites is the hotel that you need 👌🏼 🔵The restaurant, Hi Bowl and infinity pool has a view on a lake, which is pleasing 😌 🔵 The infinity pool is the adult’s pool. There’s also a kid’s pool and a coconut prop for pictures. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a terrace area in the shade with bigger loungers are available for lazing by the pool 😎 They also provide towels. You can find an outdoor shower and toilets. 🔵 The breakfast buffet is fantastic 👌🏼There’s such a great variety of foods for a western as well as a Chinese breakfast. Food and drinks are refilled. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included 💯 🔵 We booked a room with a king bed and a single bed with mountain view ⛰ The room was clean and very spacious. The beds are so soft and comfy. The decor is minimal and modern. The bathroom had a big bathtub and shower space 👌🏼 The balcony was quite big and defo a nice place to chill in the evening. You’ll also find a wooden clothing rack for your wet/washed clothes. 🔵 The lobby has a convenience store next to the entrance, but bear in mind that prices are a little bit more than the average. 🔵 This hotel is family-friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Indoor playground for kids and a small gym space with basic equipments for adults. 🔵 Yalong Bay Public Beach is a 10-15 mins walk away from the hotel. 🔵 The malls with restaurants and shops are 10 mins away by taxi. We were looking forward to go back to this burgershop again this year after stumbling on it last year. The menu has more choices of food and side dishes. They now have vegetarian choices if you don’t eat/like beef. While my friends vouched for eating the best burger they ever had, my vegetarian hotdog was also great 😁 I ordered a cucumber tonic water which was so refreshing 😅 They also offer cocktails, beers and soft drinks. My friend’s potato wedges were also yummy. Prices are very decent portion wise 👍🏼 My drink and hotdog with a side mini salad 🥗 costed me 88¥. Nice- popular city in the South of France, with a glorious Mediterranean location on the Baie des Anges. The first place to check out is the palm-tree lined Promenade des Anglais. This 7 km (5-mile) oceanside promenade curves gently along the Bay of Angels, and is a focal point for strollers, cyclists, joggers and sightseers. One of the must see place in Nice is its old town with its shady alleyways, colourful facades and typically Mediterranean shutters. Impossible to talk about Nice Old Town (le Vieux Nice) without mentioning the Cours Saleya, where is held almost every morning (except on Monday) the famous market and flower market. Somehow, it gives a feeling that you walk the streets of south Italy. The weather wasn’t favorable for the outside activities so decided to go visit the lost chamber aquarium (Sanya Atlantis). It is located to like 35 km from where I was staying, I spent about an hour on the road to get there . As soon as I arrived the smile was all over my face because this place is absolutely amazing, checked in and enjoyed the whole experience, there was so many species…. there was a Show and the the whole thing was just wonderful ! My best experience for this summer vacation in Sanya happened @ JIJIU YATCH. I booked the private trip for 3 hours, this booking included some soft drinks and Fruits… I was also allowed to bring some other drinks and the food from outside. The interior of the yatch was super clean, with a private KTV for the party in the middle Sea, it had also a dope bedroom… The trip was smooth, the Captain was cool, we stopped at some point for some other experiences like swimming, motorbike ride and etc ….
