This park is my favourite in Hefei. Surrounding the park is lots of shopping malls, theaters and five star hotels...We stayed in the Intercontinental hotel and had a view looking down onto the lake.
The lake has a man-made beach where children can relax and play. Adults can enjoy the sun and the beautiful view. Who needs to go to Sanya!!!

a wonderful menu at a very unusual restaurant that is also reasonably priced. The chicken poppers, fries, and chicken patas are all must-tries. My girlfriends and I also enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of ginger lemon tea, which cost 30 rmb and had a wonderful, soothing flavor. They have a variety of wines and other beverages, so we will definitely return to try those.

Memorial Temple of Lord Bao
One of the first places that I paid visit during my visit in Hefei, luckily during the spring festival the Entry for the temple is free to enter 🎏
once you pass the gate you can observe the temple itself which is by the river.
Lord Bao (999-1062), named Bao Zheng, was a renowned officer in the Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127). He is well respected because of his excellent personality. Many temples were built to commemorate his death but the most famous temple between them is the Hefei memorial temple.
The atmosphere here has chill vibe to it and it’s family-friendly place.

You must try this restaurant. It is located in Hefei, Anhui, in 1912. It’s simple to locate, merely on a store's third floor. They've got patios too, a good place to chill out and see 1912 Street more.
It features a lovely music, a quiet atmosphere, and a really pleasant vibe.
Despite the menu's limited selection, the cuisine is both good and reasonably priced.
A bowl of beef soup might only cost 30 to 40 rmb.
Personally, I think you should try this one and the rolls. You can have an option of one that is fried and not fried.
To attempt something new is absolutely great. So enjoy 😉

This cute little Japanese BBQ restaurant is located in Binhu.
After work, a colleague and I decided to try this place and we were not disappointed.
🍜 We ordered beef, chicken wings, ramens, mashed potatoes (Soooo good!!) and veggies.
💲 Cost: I can’t remember how much it was exactly but it was over ¥125 each. It was worth it!

There were quite a few options such as: Skewers, dumplings, fried insects and other typical Chinese delicacies such as noodles, fried tofu, stuffed pancakes, Xi’an style burgers.
We also had some Xiao Long Bao and they were fresh and delicious. (15¥/6)

Amazing sea life!🐧 The jellyfish tanks were my favorite😍 Well thought of show at the end of the trip with very talented dolphins🐬 They looked healthy and well taken care of. The cost was reasonable and worth every cent. We even got some popcorn from the little shops inside. Getting around in Hefei is a fun thing to do, especially when you get into Sanshigang Park, where the Three Kingdoms Site Park is located. It’s a huge park, so riding a tricycle would be very convenient and exciting. Enjoy the culture, have fun with different activities you can do, even picnics, archery, etc. It's a good place for family and friends. Maybe taking a taxi or didi might be difficult, so be patient or try to walk to the bus stop.

indoor heated pool in gloomy, rainy weather
In the cold, wet months, we all require access to an indoor heated pool.
We are swimming and rejoicing in the indoor heated pool while on holiday at the Hilton Hefei.
There are 3 separate pools, two of which are circular heated pools. The third, larger pool, is a nice place to swim.
It has a wonderful ambiance, polite and helpful personnel, and is clean.
A great spot to unwind and treat ourselves.

It has spacious conference rooms, a lavish hallway with an exquisite design, and helpful staff.
Unfortunately, the swimming pool isn't open this season.They guaranteed it would be used in July and August.
We can also find a self-service store that is easy and economical.
It's also lovely to see a playground designed for children inside.
We can find a bonfire stand outside the hotel, especially for late-night visitors.

I’ve been living in Hefei for a year and I didn’t know about this cool little area until few weeks ago.
Location : I don’t have the exact location, but if you type Frank’s in your DiDi app, you’ll be at the right place.
Attractions: Nice European architecture, a small walking street, tons of restaurants and little coffee shops. I only went there during the day, but I’d recommend going there for dinner and enjoy the evening strolling around. 😊

Drinks: We ordered Mojitos and a Long Island Iced Tea and both were reasonably priced and delicious.
Food: We ordered Ham and cheese balls, a caesar salad, a pizza, burgers, mushroom soups, salmon, desert and eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious!

Hefei’s Aircity Amusement Park
Address: Wangjiang West Road 512 Haoliu Fangshenleng Sports Industrial Park Block 6 Room 101, Shushan (Sixon Sports Complex)
Cost - If I remember correctly, it was about 60¥/person. You also need to buy a pair of socks for about 10¥.
Attraction- So many things such as slides, rock climbing, trampolines, go karting, and many more! I highly recommend you go there during the week when it’s not busy. If it’s too busy, you might have to wait for over 30mins just for one activity.
Recommended time - If not busy, 1.5 hour-2 hours.
If it’s busy, I’d say 4-5 hours since you’ll have to wait quite a bit.

Hefei, a city of art, culture & history
In three days holidays (Dragon Boat Festival), I made the trip in Hefei city of Anhui province, China. From Suzhou I took the bullet train and within two and half hours I arrived there. The Hefei south station is very big. Despite of having 24 and 48 hours of covid test, I had to do the PCR test again at the station. However, my hotel was just about 10 mins by taxi from the station. There is a famous walking street called Lei Street just behind my hotel with many food shops, bars and other shops. Drinks and food cost are very reasonable here. There is a breakfast street and you can try some local snacks and foods in the morning. During my stay in Hefei, I visited He Chai (former prison turned into an open art display center, museum and many more), Lord Bao Park (memorial hall and tomb of lord bao, a former imperial official from song dynasty), Huaihe Road (walking street). However, if you travel Hefei for about a week, then you can try Huangshan Mountain, Sanhe Water Town, Laoshan Island. These places are far from the city and requires a whole day trip to cover any one of them. Hope you will enjoy visiting Hefei, Anhui🤗
