We go to Zhujiajian by driving 300 kilometers from Shanghai, which takes about 5 hours. This time we chose to stay in a B&B in the exclusive Greentown area next to the Westin Hotel. The Guanyin Dharma Realm on Mount Putuo in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province was built at a cost of 6 billion. Zhoushan was a quick stay over on our way to Shengshan island for a few days. We stayed at a lovely homestay A Hotel and had some delicious BBQ for dinner. Interestingly we found out that you cn't swim anywhere in Zhoushan without paying. The host of the Homestay explained that it was because they were very serious about safety and the funds went towards paying lifegaurds. This time I stayed at the Greentown Rose Garden Taoyuanli Hotel on Changzhi Island in Zhoushan, and it was really nice! As soon as I entered the hotel, I didn't want to leave. The island is surrounded by the sea, and it's very quiet, with a nice lake view. The photos looked nice, but it was even more amazing in person. The hotel is well-designed, and it's very quiet inside. The room is large, and the balcony has a skylight, making it bright. I especially liked the small courtyard on the balcony, where I could stand and feel the breeze, which was very relaxing. I woke up naturally in the morning to a sea view outside the window. The sofa bed on the balcony is perfect for daydreaming or stargazing. Sitting there and watching the sea, time seemed to slow down. The best thing about the hotel is its tranquility, allowing for complete relaxation. The sunset was a bit disappointing, as the clouds covered the sun. But the sunset light was still beautiful, shining on the sea and sparkling. It felt so comfortable. Shau Kei Wan is actually a nice place. Although it is a bit remote and the transportation is not very convenient, it is worth a visit. I drove there, and the road was a bit winding. I was afraid I couldn't find it at first, but luckily the navigation was reliable. When I arrived, I went downhill and saw the beach. The beach is not big, but it is very comfortable and soft to walk on. The sound of the waves is very relaxing, and I just want to stand there and do nothing for a while. It is great for taking pictures of the sunset. Although the sun didn't set completely, the sunset light on the sea was beautiful. Even if the clouds blocked the sun, the afterglow on the sea can still make beautiful photos. You can take good pictures casually. If you like taking pictures or want to keep some memories, you won't regret coming here. It is also suitable for children.
