Berlin Cathedral

Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) is a famous Protestant church in Berlin, the capital of Germany. It is located on the Museum Island in the center of the city, next to the Spree River. This magnificent church is not only the religious center of Berlin, but also an important landmark and tourist attraction of the city.
⛪️The history of Berlin Cathedral dates back to the 15th century, when there was a smaller church on the same site. The existing cathedral was built from 1894 to 1905 under the order of German Emperor Wilhelm II to serve as the court church of the Hohenzollern family. The original church was demolished at the end of the 19th century to make way for a new and more magnificent church.
⛪️Berlin Cathedral adopts Renaissance and Baroque styles and was designed by architect Julius Raschdorff. Its gorgeous appearance and exquisite interior decoration reflect the characteristics of neo-Baroque architecture. The church is 98 meters high, and its green dome is an important part of the Berlin skyline.
⛪️During World War II, the Berlin Cathedral was severely damaged, especially an air raid in 1944 that caused part of the church's dome to collapse. After the war, the restoration of the church lasted for decades and was finally completed in 1993.
⛪️The interior of the church is richly decorated with many exquisite sculptures, paintings and mosaics. The altarpiece and the pulpit on the central altar are particularly eye-catching.
⛪️The Berlin Cathedral has an organ built by Wilhelm Sauer, which is one of the largest and most important historical organs in the world.
Visitors can climb 270 steps to the observation deck on the church's dome, from which they can overlook the magnificent view of the center of Berlin.

📍Address: Located in Cologne, Germany, with convenient transportation, you can see its magnificent figure from a distance as soon as you get off the car.
🌟Appearance: From the moment you step into the palace area, it feels like you have fallen into a fairy tale world. The main building of the palace is in a gorgeous Baroque style. The pink and white exterior walls shine in the sun. The exquisite carvings and magnificent columns, every detail shows the luxury and dignity of the year, and it is super photogenic📷!
🏞Garden: The garden of the palace is even more unique! Symmetrical layout, neatly trimmed green plants, and colorful flowers blooming. Strolling through it, the fragrance of flowers is overflowing, and occasionally there are a few birds flying around, like a fairyland on earth. Walking along the gravel path, I feel that my body and mind are healed.
💖Visiting experience: There are rich exhibitions inside, from exquisite court costumes👗 to luxurious furniture🪑, a series of historical scrolls unfold in front of you, which can give you an in-depth understanding of the life style of the nobles at that time. The staff explained in detail, and even if you don't know much about history, you can still listen with relish.
💰Ticket price: The ticket price is reasonable, and it is very cost-effective compared to the experience you get. There are also preferential policies for students, which is very considerate.
In short, whether it is the beauty of architecture, garden landscape or cultural heritage, Benrath Palace is intoxicating. It is a must-visit place in Cologne. I strongly recommend it to everyone! 👏

It is worth going. Buy tickets in advance. If you can't make an appointment for the right time period, choose a VR project and the entry time is not limited. Three people pay at least one VR fee.
