The first building in China that completely floats on vibration isolators and is also one of the earliest professional venues in China to use "3D holographic sound technology" - the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall has now officially been put into operation. Located in the Shanghai Historical and Cultural Protection Area, this building is shaped like a "big saddle". Its flexible curves and simple clay facade complement the style of the Souvenir buildings. Designed by the master of architecture Arata Isozaki, the Concert Hall includes two sunken Concert Hall, one large and one small, and an entrance hall. The hall can accommodate 1,200 spectators and the small hall can accommodate 400 spectators. It is also an advanced 3D holographic recording studio. As most of the Souvenir are immovable cultural relics and excellent historical protection buildings, the height of the Concert Hall hall is limited, and more than two-thirds of the construction work is carried out underground. At the same time, in order to isolate the noise of the subway only 6 meters away, the designer placed the concert hall on the vibration isolator spring like a "Simmons", thus giving birth to one of the earliest "fully floating buildings" in China. The acoustic design of the Concert Hall was designed by Japanese acoustic master Yasuhisa Toyota. The 400-seat chamber music hall uses "3D holographic sound technology" to accurately locate all sound and image positions in three dimensions: front, back, left, right, up and down. When a clarinetist auditions the sound, the sound quality is so penetrating that the audience has an "immersive" experience.
