2024 UX Salary Survey
Thank you to the UX community for participating in the UXPA 2024 Salary Survey! We would also like to express our appreciation to MeasuringU for conducting the survey and preparing the report. This report provides valuable insights into various UX roles globally.
Data was collected from April 2024 through October 2024
- We received 444 responses from 37 countries with 67% of the responses coming from the US, 4% from Canada, and 4% from the UK.
- The median salary across all jobs is $120K, about 10% higher than the 2022 UXPA report ($109K). But, after accounting for inflation using constant 2024 dollars, the median salary is about the same as it was in 2018 and about $2K less than in 2022.
The biggest factors that impact salaries are:
- Where you live: US Northern California has the highest median ($198K) versus $124K in the US Southeast Region.
- Job level: Senior-level supervisors make about 2x entry-level employees ($165K vs. $82.5K).
- Other significant factors: Education, Company Size, Years of UX Experience.
