Peacock’s new deal follows a huge promo it ran for National Streaming Day last month, offering a year of Peacock for $20. The May 20 holiday was created by Roku to mark the introduction of its first streaming player in 2008. It was in competition with other streaming deals announced last month, such as Hulu’s $3-Day Free Trial and Paramount Plus’ Showtime bundle.
