In September, we worked with Qualcomm to make our Windows App compatible with Snapdragon, becoming one of the first VPNs to do so. Our Head of Product on Desktop, Himmat Bains has sat down with Qualcomm and published a Developer Blog on how we worked together to achiever this. Learn more below!
Bringing ExpressVPN’s security to a new generation of Windows on Snapdragon technology has been a career highlight for me. I spoke with Qualcomm on their Developer Blog and went into more detail on the whole process, including how we opted for a semi-native design—building out mission-critical features like Lightway natively, and emulating the remaining elements. Checkout the full blog post below! This wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing Windows Team led by Robert Raksanyi and Luca Natella, supported by Jose Antonio Blaya Garcia, who worked tirelessly to deliver this in record time. Also many thanks to Rami Husseini, PJ Jacobowitz and Maria Stenina at Qualcomm for collaborating with us on such an exciting project. As always I am eternally grateful to Lauren Hendry Parsons and Jack Buckley for their communication wisdoms.
