ISA Next-Gen Materials specializes in producing eco-friendly leathers and sustainable materials for footwear, handbags, apparel, and accessories, all while ensuring the lowest possible environmental footprint throughout the supply chain. This commitment is embodied in their Low Impact to the Environment manufacturing concept, aimed at minimizing water and energy usage, as well as reducing chemical inputs during production. Additionally, the group is making substantial investments in new materials and technologies to drive sustainability innovation. At TransAsia TanTec, one of ISA’s cutting-edge sustainable facilities in Vietnam, these principles are already in practice. The factory specializes in developing and producing HyphaLite, an all-natural material derived from locally sourced mushrooms unsuitable for human consumption. HyphaLite is fully biodegradable and compostable, as it is farmed without chemical additives. In line with eco-friendly practices, the factory walls are also lined with bamboo to naturally lower temperatures. To further advance their sustainability goals, ISA Nextgenmaterials has partnered with ACC Vietnam for a clean energy transition by installing a 1,020 kWp Rooftop Solar System. This initiative will significantly reduce the factory’s carbon footprint while ensuring the highest environmental standards in the manufacturing process.
