We are excited to announce our "Computer Room" charity project, dedicated to improving digital education at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School in Dlieya town, Krong Nang Village, Daklak Province. With a total investment of VND 100,000,000, we have provided the school with 10 new computers. This project aims to support the 340 pupils, over 85% of whom are Mnong, Tay, Muong, and Thai ethnic, in meeting the basic needs of the 2018 primary school curriculum. The school, located approximately 307 km from HCMC, currently has only 5 computers, forcing 6 students to share one computer. This initiative will enhance their computer skills training, allowing students to gain essential practical experience. We are proud to contribute to a brighter educational future for these students. HKBAV set up the Charity Funds in 2016 and over the years, more than 30 of groups/organizations has received funding over 4.4 billion dongs (USD$176,048) donated by our members and partners. HKBAV has taken on a longer-term initiative under the banner of “Enable Learning Impart Knowledge” where we focus to fund sustainable initiatives in education, training and students’ welfare. HKBAV generally will chose to work groups/organizations that do not enjoy any privilege to ready fundings. We are thrilled to announce our latest charity initiative, "Computer Room," aimed at enhancing digital education and providing better learning opportunities for students in four schools in Hai Phong City: Tan Phong Primary & Secondary School, Thuan Thien Primary School, Dai Hop Primary School, and Hien Hao Primary & Secondary School. This project, with a total investment of VND 400,000,000, has provided each school with 10 new computer sets valued at VND 100,000,000. The new equipment will significantly improve the computer facilities in these schools, addressing their specific needs and challenges. 1. Tan Phong Primary & Secondary School currently has only 10 computers serving 303 students from grades 3 to 5, resulting in an average of 3 students per computer. The additional 10 computer sets will greatly enhance their capacity, allowing more students to access computer lessons effectively. 2. Thuan Thien Primary School has been struggling with old and degraded computers. Out of 16 computers, only 8 are currently functioning, serving 529 students. The new computer sets will replace the non-functional ones, ensuring that students have enough resources to practice during their computer lessons. 3. Dai Hop Primary School faces similar challenges, with only 13 out of 21 computers in operation, and even those are old and degraded. The new computer sets will provide the 510 students with better learning tools and improve their computer lab experience. 4. Hien Hao Primary & Secondary School serves 627 students, many of whom come from difficult circumstances. The computer lab currently has only 7 sets of computers, 6 of which are broken and have been repeatedly repaired. The new computer sets will transform their computer lab, providing the necessary resources for both students and teachers. We are excited to see the positive impact this project will have on over 1,900 students, providing them with better access to technology and essential computer skills. This initiative is a significant step towards bridging the digital divide and empowering the next generation with the tools they need for a brighter future. #HKBAV #HKBAVCharity
