Last week, SSI, along with other market participants, attended the annual conference organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in Da Lat. During the conference, the Vietnam Listed Company Award 2024 was presented, with three main categories: corporate governance, annual report, and sustainable development report. This is the 17th year the award has been held to promote corporate governance practices and the disclosure of information according to international standards.  SSI was honored to be selected in the top 10 companies with the best corporate governance in the large-cap sector. SSI released our monthly market review & outlook 💹 💹 💹 The market in November is expected to remain volatile. However, market valuations are becoming more attractive (market P/E at 11.9x at the end of October), as listed companies' profits continue to recover. The ongoing implementation of pre-funding to support market upgrade to the EM basket is providing positive long-term support for the market. Strategically, we have strong preference for companies with strong profit growth, as this is anticipated to be the main driver of stock prices in 2024 and 2025. Sectors such as textiles, fisheries (pangasius), and ports & shipping may benefit from the shift in supply chains and new US trade policies.
